I wanted to update a previous post now that my mother has been a resident here for almost 3 years. I can sum this up by confidently saying that if your loved one needs the care of a skilled nursing facility and or memory unit this is an outstanding choice. Just a few months before Covid hit, we moved mom here. After all of the CDC mandates, testing, vaccinations and protocols enacted here, mom emerged, unscathed on this, the other side of the pandemic. We will always be beholden to the Cottages of Spring Branch for keeping mom in great health thru these unprecedented times. The team of Doctors and healthcare professionals here work as a unit, providing loving care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for your family member. The concept of a healing place for body, mind and soul using the most up to date methodology to truly care for your loved one. Three delicious, nutritious, heart-healthy meals are served each day. The Cottages have truly been a Godsend. Check them out, talk with them and tour the facility. You will be glad that you came.

If I could give a NO STAR RATING I would of!! PLEASE if you love your family member RUN RUN RUN from this place. The people who run it are TERRIBLE!!! They made my dad suffer and they killed him and others!!! PLEASE RUN FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!

The ownerexecutive director and all the staff at The Cottage are a godsend to us. We are extremely grateful to all of them for all they do for our mothergrandmother and the support they provide to our family. We also have the utmost faith and trust in their care for our mothergrandmother and are truly thankful she is at The Cottage. We highly recommend The Cottage should you or your loved one need its services.

This facility is truly one of the best Ive seen. The sincere care and effort put into all that goes here is beyond most facilities I have ever visited. The employees here all maintain a very positive demeanor and show such true concern for all the residents. I was looking for my parents and couldnt be more pleased with all I saw. I would highly recommend this place as one of the top in Houston if your looking for a friendly family feel for your elderly loved ones.

A place where residents needs and well-being are first priority.Residents are family members here.Treated with the love, respect and dignity they deserve, want and require as your special family members. A personalized care plan will be created to meet your loved ones specific needs for mental and physical nourishment. Your family member will be actively engaged and assisted here. Tasty and healthful meals are freshly prepared morning noon and night. This is NOT a typical assisted living facility.My wife and I moved my mother here a short while ago. Mom had been at a assisted living community here in Houston for well over three years when we began noticing signs of neglect. My mother was not herself and was not being treated well. Now that mom is here things have dramatically changed. Id say her life as well as mine and my wifes has taken a 180 degree turn for the best ! My mother is now happy, less medicated, well taken care of and sings ! I do not worry about the care she is receiving here. I know she is receiving the best care here.I encourage everyone in need of a highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable assisted living facility to come to The Cottage. The level of commitment and dedication to providing health care services is truly unparalleled. Give them a call. Set-up an appointment. My parents have been residents of The Cottage of Spring Branch for over three years. Their quality of care was fairly adequate for the first two years, under the previous management. However, since the new ownership has been in place, my parents, siblings, and I have been exceedingly pleased. Zahra seems to make every effort possible to ensure that each and every resident is treated with love, respect, and dignity. She goes through painstaking measures to screen and hire Caregivers who share in her vision of caring for their residents. Im thoroughly satisfied with the care both my Mother and Father are now receiving!

Our time at The Cottage will be forever cherished. The Executive Director worked with us on creating a personalized Care Plan for my father, including a drug reduction program and facility directed rehabilitation. The staff was well trained and able to be very attentive to my fathers unique needs and changing condition. But, more than that, The Cottage staff gave us the gift of recognizing the special qualities in my fathers personality and cognition that still existed. Its easy to focus on whats missing, or diminished, when interacting with an elderly loved one with dementia, which can be frustrating, sad and even depressing.The culture of The Cottage is different. They have the remarkable ability to focus on what is still present and engage their residents right where they are, with dignity, respect and even admiration. The staff and environment offer many ways for residents to participate, on whatever level is appropriate, as part of a real community. And, very important, my father enjoyed the food! It didnt take long for him to call it home. What a gift for my father and our family.When evaluating The Cottage of Spring Branch, you should know the building was purchased and renovated in 2018 by Golden Care Cottage Group LLC. Its now updated and under totally new leadership of Zahra Nizami, MD. Much of the information on 3rd party websites is not current and accurate. As a result, we almost missed out on this gem. Im glad we did a site visit to meet the staff and see it for ourselves.Thank you for everything!

I am so happy that I moved Doug here. He is getting such good care in every situation. The owner is amazing. She is there, very involved in the day to day operation. She is so caring of her residents and her staff reflects her passion. I am there almost every day at different hours and I have only seen respect and dignity given to the residents. They care for the individual needs of each person. The caregivers are happy and that is a huge plus. I highly recommend The Cottage.

I am amazed at the personal, attentive care given by all staff at The Cottage of Spring Branch. It has a homey feel. The owner is extremely hands-on. She personally sees to it that residents are loved like family. Meals are prepared fresh with the mental and physical well-being of the residents in mind. The building and landscape are beautiful, but the compassion shown to those residing in the building far outweigh that beauty. And thats what matters when considering a new home for your loved one. I would highly recommend The Cottage to my family and friends. You will be in good hands.

After making a mistake with the first place my aunt went, we have been overjoyed with her life here. The staff is unfailingly pleasant and engaged. My aunt is happier than she has been in months. I enjoy my visits with her because the space itself is warm, bright and comfortable. Would recommend The Cottage to anyone who is seeking a place for their elderly parent, relative or spouse.

My grandmother is a current resident at the Cottage and the employees and administration has gone far above and beyond all expectations I had regarding the care provided. Zarah, the executive director, has gone far out of her way to make sure that my grandmothers PERSONAL needs are met! She communicates with me personally on a daily basis, and you can just tell that she truly cares for the residents and their families. On top of the outstanding level of compassion, this facility provides the residents with an extensive list of activities designed to fit the needs of each individual resident! I havent seen my grandmother as happy as she is now in a very long time.

We used The Cottage of Spring Branch, for My Mother in Law, for years, to assist us, and Learn How to care for Her. She spent Many happy Days, & night there, while I visited Daily. She Traveled a Lot with us, & Live with us when I took off from My Business,,,Keep in Mind Its like child care, you have to take a Roll in their stay, & The employees sometimes are over whelmed with other patients that may Need more assistance..
