Silverado Hermann Park has been my mom's home since 10/23. I appreciate so much the way the entire team cares for her. All the staff from caregivers, nurses, engagement team, front desk, kitchen, housekeeping and valet have given her personalized care. When I have concerns and complaints, the wonderful social worker Hailea, head nurse Leslie and administrator Gigi have listened to me and addressed our needs. I appreciate their very humane and patient approach to caring for seniors with dementia.

I visited on Friday to see my Aunt. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The staff seem to want to be there. The staff appear to like their job and have patience. It was clean and smell good. I appreciated visiting a very nice facility. I also enjoyed the Dog Fashion Show.

I have worked as an outside contractor with many senior living facilities and Silverado is different than the others. They go above and beyond to make it feel like home. There's many activities to keep the residents active and the families involved that exceeds anything I've witnessed at other facilities. Most important... the management and staff are patient and caring. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing care for their loved one. They would definitely be my choice.

Silverado has been the biggest blessing to my mother and myself. It was a difficult decision to find my mother the best environment when moving her to Houston. We toured the fanciest, popular, closest proximity to my home, etc. At the end of the day, it came down to the approach that Silverado has toward our loved ones with dementia. They treat them with love, respect and dignity. The culture of love and care is amazing. I drive 45 minutes each way every day but never regret the commute because Silverado is the best!

Silverado at Hermann Park models Excellence in Memory Care. My mother, a shy introvert, has blossomed, actually participating in activities or visiting with other residents. My husband describes my mom, "as happier than he's ever seen her." The Silverado administration and staff are a family to my mom. My mom experiences respect, patience, laughter and much love. When considering care for our parents, we expect a safe environment, tasty food, stimulating and fun activities, onsite medical care and other life necessities. We hope and dream of finding a loving environment. I highly recommend Silverado at Hermann Park.

My sister and I could not be more happy with our choice of Silverado to care for our mom! And we tried a different, "nicer" place first. What a mistake! Silverado specializes in memory care and it shows. Each and every staff member at Silverado has been trained in how to work with memory care patients and to a person - from the receptionist and valet to the caregiver and nurse - they all treat my mother as family. Because of Silverado's "group home" environment, Mom - who is not a joiner - is constantly out and about with other residents getting the socialization she needs to keep her brain as sharp as possible. When Mom moved in, Silverado staff also worked to find out what her interests are and to engage her in ways that make her valued and worthy. She loves gardening and flowers, so Silverado worked with her to plan and plant a small garden, which she (and other residents) now tend. They took her on walks around the block and to the park, and returned some of her natural independence to her that she had lost over the years of this debilitating disease. Silverado cares about Mom and her wellbeing, both emotional and physical. The nursing staff is first rate. Whenever there's a need, if at all possible, Silverado takes care of it in-house. If Mom needs X-rays? They call the mobile x-ray service? If Mom needs dental care? They call the mobile dentist. If they notice any sort of medical issue at all, they always keep me informed, but also always offer to do the legwork to make sure that Mom gets the care she needs in a timely manner. And finally, I would be remiss if I didn't also say that Silverado cares for my sister and me as much as they care for our mom. We often say that Hailea Whitlock, Silverado's social worker, treats us as if we (and our Mom) are her only patients. But every other family member we've met says the same. If you have a question about how to handle an issue with your loved one, Hailea has the answer and always finds the time to sit with you and explain things in a way that makes you feel confident and prepared. My sister and I love Silverado Hermann Park, and our mother has grown to love it too. She didn't want to move in and make a new adjustment, but now she tells us what a nice place she lives in and what nice people she lives with. I am sorry for anyone who has to go through this process, but Silverado makes it bearable. Each day I go to sleep knowing Mom is safe, comfortable, and happy, and that is because Silverado Hermann Park makes it so.

Silverado has truly been an answer to prayers as we entered the world of finding a memory care facility for my mother this past summer. From the moment we arrive, Henry greets us with a smile, and kindly parks my father's car. We are then given more smiles and care by either Kayla or LaTonya as they check us in. Always sweet, always calling us by our name. All Covid protocols checked and followed before we can enter and visit my mom. The administrators are outstanding. Le, Hailea, Courtney, Wendy, and everyone else on staff have cared for my mother and our family as if we were their family, words just can't describe how much this has meant to us. The caregivers are all dementia certified, and you can feel the love and sincerity as they care for the residents. Today was their Thanksgiving family time with homemade pies, and coffee. They had my mom ready for us looking her best, and made sure that each family felt at home with their loved one. I wish I had the words to adequately express how much we appreciate everyone there. It's a very special place that will remain in my heart as a home that was there for us at a very scary time, and helped my mother and our entire family make the transition to memory care. They do it with dignity and love.

Being a 3rd party company with Hermann Park, I must say.....They are awesome!!! The concept of providing a better quality of life for all the residents is very evident. Weekly they have events and activities that the residents really enjoy and look forward to. I like how they take time and treat each resident as an individual, whether it's through clinical care, therapy or activites residents like to do that'll put a smile on their faces. It's the small things that they pay attention to that makes all the difference in the world. I enjoy coming here. The staff is really good about making sure the residents have what they need and are cared for with the utmost respect and dignity.

My mom had a life changing stroke and now requires 24/7 care. It's been a hard adjustment, to say the least, but since we moved her to Silverado, we feel she is safe and well cared for. Best choice we made in regards to my mom's care. At Silverado Hermann Park I feel like my mom is part of a family. Their care approach is wholistic, thoughtful, and they cater to each resident's needs. We've come to know the staff by name, and the staff make themselves available to any of our questions and concerns. We are so thankful for Silverado Hermann Park!

Recently, four families (3 spouses and 1 daughter) got together for a wonderful dinner. Each of us brought food, and the Silverado staff surprised us with a beautifully decorated dining table complete with chargers and fresh flowers. But the best part was how each of our loved ones responded to and enjoyed the gathering, because it was just like a family dinner party in our homes. We laughed and laughed for two hours, and then retreated to the third floor to watch college football. We share a common appreciation for the special care our loved ones get at Silverado at every level: caregivers, nurses, culinary, activities, housekeeping, receptionist, laundry and of course, a strong administrative staff. It was our choice to trust them to lovingly care for our husbands, wives and parents, and we are pleased with this decision.

We moved our mother from a different facility to Herman Park in June. The care she is receiving is fantastic! She is happy, and the staff know how to keep her focused and thus decreasing her anxiety and frustration. It is so comforting knowing my mother is extremely well cared for 24 hours a day. The staff are very well trained in dementia care and their compassion is evident every time you enter the building. I would not trust her care to anyone else!

Draw a line for all reviews a year or more. This is a new Silverado. My wife Carol has been there for almost 20 months. She would not receive better care anywhere else. The staff treats EVERY resident like family. And management works hard to keep us informed. The COVID scare is even worse in homes caring for elderly but I sleep well knowing they are doing their best to both prevent the disease from getting in and planning for IF it does. My favorite quote is from a woman whose husband has been at Silverado a long time. "If your loved one is not at Silverado Herman Park are you sure you love him or her."

As a caregiver to my husband who has a diagnosis of vascular Parkinson's and lewy body dementia The saddest reality is that I can nolonger care for him at home. Sooooo grateful that I found SILVERADO AT HERMAN PARK to get the very best care for my loved one. This environment is as close to having a welcoming home environment as we could have. The little extras like homemade snacks and fresh flowers are noted. The folks that work here each one is a gem in their expertise. Hailea is the social worker who goes above and beyond her job title. Shamika is in charge of engagements . Oh the places the residents all go... Rodeo Museums. zoos,concerts and Special holiday parties with decorations galore. Her staff is Soo awesome. The food is yum from our chef Maurice. Ann, our family ambassador is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Eunique is indeed unique as director of health services. She is always there for helpful medical stuff. CNAs are beyond caring. We have the best. Nursing staff. Moreover, to have this community in a great location Is a bonus.. To have my husband at home was my first choice, but since that was not possible, Silverado is the best choice! I am so thankful for our journey here at Silverado.

I'm genuinely convinced that Silverado is an authentically special place. In my experience, Silverado is a facility with very attentive staff when it concerns the residents. In addition, the needs of the residents are met exhaustively. Not only do the residents get the care and help they need, but they're also acknowledged and Silverado will go the extra mile to ensure resident satisfaction. Everyday, the residents are encouraged to participate in engagement activities rather than just let them sleep the day away. The associates interact with the residents in a very inclusive way that makes anyone want to be a part of the activitiy going on there! I can genuinely say if I ever come to a point that my self or a loved one needed the assistance of a memory care facility; Silverado will be my only choice without a doubt or hesitance in my mind. Thank you Silverado for all you do and are yet to do!

From the first time I walked into Silverado I knew it was a special place! The areas are homey and very clean. Silverado Herman Park has opened under the leadership of two outstanding administrators - Le Riggs, Senior Administrator and Eunique Jones, Director of Nursing. My family and I have seen and experienced the immense, professional, knowledgeable, and caring way with which they approach their work firsthand. My husband, a resident of Silverado Sugar Land for the last four years, has received exceptional care and support from the staff under the direction of Le and Unique. Le Riggs and her staff helped to make easier the difficult decision to move my husband, from a facility where he was not receiving the care that I expected, to Silverado Sugarland. Lee exuded confidence in Silverado's ability to meet my husband's needs as his condition deteriorated. She also emphasized how essential it is that I and my family be a part of this "caring for" process. There was never a moment under her leadership that she did not remain true to her commitment. Upon Eunique Jones' arrival as Director of Nursing, she laid out in detail the planned care for my husband and responded to any situation that arose with a confidence and calmness that often put me at ease. Her confidence and calmness also permeated through the rest of her staff. Concerns that I expressed were always addressed immediately and she always followed up with a discussion of the plan of action. In the event of a physical emergency, Eunique and her staff would quickly assess whether the situation called for in house response, or an elevated response to external medical resources. Both of these ladies have been a tremendous asset to and partners with my family in my husband's care. Silverado Herman Park has gained an exceptional team and I am confident that my wonderful experience with Silverado will be duplicated for many others under their care at Silverado Hermann Park.

I suggested Silverado Hermann Park to an EXTREMELY independent friend of mine in his nineties after he suffered an illness. The entire staff is extremely professional and genuinely compassionate, not to mention patient. The location itself has a genuine feeling of home and that contributed significantly to my friend's comfort and confidence. Matilda, the Family Ambassador, made it an especially hospitable environment and addressed every issue we needed assistance with in a patient, expedient and truly friendly manner. I have a lot of experience with skilled nursing organizations and have never been this impressed.
