Definitely 5 stars, CLEAN FACILITY, doesn’t smell like urine. This facility is always clean no matter what time of day!! Food smells and looks good! The staff is amazing and on top things they definitely CARE and show love. So thankful to their memory care unit and staff!!! Shoutout to Mr. John and the weekend crew for making my mother’s transfer go so smoothly on a Saturday. Can’t be more pleased with this team!!!

My father has recently moved into Caraday of Houston Nursing Home. Our family feels very blessed to have found such a wonderful place for him. The staff immediately made my dad very comfortable and set up a meeting with the family. In the meeting, we were asked about his past careers and lifestyle. This made me feel like I came to a place who valued him as a person. Everyone is very welcoming and attentive. The facility is very clean, and it appears to be a well-organized facility. A special thanks to Ms. Loretta for her patience and understanding throughout the process of getting him to his new home. Thank you, Raymond, for setting up a remarkable meeting and making us feel at home.

Caveat: I live out-of-state and have yet to visit the facility myself. I will update my review after visiting in May. My Dad was transferred to Caraday of Houston in January. In comparison to the other nursing homes my father has been at, the staff at Caraday of Houston have been exceptional especially when communicating with family. - I am always able to get someone on the phone when I call. - They call back when they say they will. - They have clearly put in the effort to get to know my Dad. They are able to tell me his preferences and habits when I ask for updates. - When it is safe, they encourage my Dad to do daily tasks on his own which is something I am extremely grateful for. So far, I have been very impressed with this facility. *** Update *** I visit the facility this past weekend and would keep the 5 star rating. - The nursing home is currently being renovated. I thought the space looked nice. - My dad's room was clean. He had appropriate space to store his belongings - 1/2 of closet, 1 night stand, and a dresser. - My Dad is difficult to care for and the nursing staff was kind and patient. They seemed to genuinely want to know the best ways to interact with him and we had several good conversations about his preferences and limitations. - Edited on August 8, 2023 - Since my visit in May, I have been struggling to get regular updates on my father. It is difficult to speak with a nurse. I leave voicemails and my calls are not returned. When I am lucky enough to speak with someone, the notes are very general. The lack of communication has been very disappointing. -Edit on December 26, 2023- I continue to leave voicemails for the nursing home staff to call me back and they never do. Today my cousin went to visit my father to bring him food and treats for Christmas and was kicked out for taking photos of him to share my siblings and I. When she offered to put away her phone so that she could enjoy more time with him they told her she could not stay.

There aren't many memory care facilities in Houston and theirs is recently renovated! During my tour, the staff was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable with my choice. I'd recommend.

My sister and I visited the facility today and we're immediately greeted and welcomed by the Administrator. She was very pleasant and gave us a tour of the wonderful facility. We were then introduced to Mrs. Taylor the Admissions Coordinator who provided so much information and answered all our questions. She was so knowledgeable and so kind. We both felt so comfortable and excited about our visit and about meeting both ladies. Thank you ladies. It was just wonderful to meet you both. Hope you will consider allowing my sister to become a member of the Caraday Family.

I was very pleased with my initial visit to Caraday their renovation are coming alone very beautifully. I was especially pleased with Ms. Te'loor Cook she was very professional and had lots of information for me regarding the facility. Te'loor worked very hard to help me with placement for my mother she walk me thru every step of the way. Te'loor is that loving person that your looking for when your entrusting someone with your loved one. The staff was very friendly during my intial visit and tour. I've heard nothing but great things about this center since new management has taken over. Renovations are currently happening and I can only imagine how beautiful it will be once complete. I can only hope the care continues to be as well as it's been. There doesn't seem to be many patients as of now but staff are attentive and always willing to help. I cannot speak for anyone else but as for my family, we have had a great experience.
