We are very happy with the care our Dad is receiving at Brookdale the Heights and appreciate everyone there. It is very convenient to my house, so I love coming to visit him and love to be able to participate in the fun activities they have for the residents. We love the homey atmosphere and the porches, he loves to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors!! We are very glad we found this assisted living place for our Dad once he could not live at home himself any longer!!

Helpful staff, plenty of parking. A safe place for loved ones who cannot live alone. They have different levels of care available. They have a physician who comes there to see the residents. They meet regularly with family members to review care and make adjustments in care as needed.

I honestly can not comment on the facility, I can only comment on my experience with Betsy Wilking who was our point of contact for brookdale heights. She worked tirelessly for over a month to get my aunt admitted to the Heights brookdale facility. We were unfortunately not eligible due to my aunts limitations but despite that fact she helped get my aunt into a rehab hospital for free. After my aunts initial fall, we contacted her to talk about options for her facility and she helped us find a skilled nursing facility that would admit my aunt on a Saturday. She called and checked up just to see how she was doing on a weekly basis. She was a life saver and a treasure trove of knowledge in regards to the processes, facilities and medicare issues. My aunt is walking now after a month and a half, and I directly credit that to Betsys help. Without her we would of never known we were eligible for a rehab hospital or what hospital would provide the best service. She helped us find a rehab hospital that was extremely skillful and that my aunt loves (After two other Physical Therapy experiences that she hated this was a miracle). There are some individuals with the kind of empathy, compassion and dedication that make them suited for work with the elderly. I can say that Betsy is one of those people. You can tell from her spirit and compassion that she cares. I can only imagine that this trait shines through at the Heights Brookdale. Getting someone to respond to you at an elderly care facility is not always the easiest but Betsy actually checked up on us, she actually responded to email. Due to her tireless dedication to her job, this is one facility I would trust to put my loved one at because they have a truly caring sole within their ranks (Betsy). I could go on and on, but the end result is the same. I cant say enough of these people. They are excellent and really care about residents. For them they are truly family. My aunt cant say enough of how happy she is here. I worried of her adapting to the change from living alone at home but the staff has made it very easy for her to adapt and she loves it. Most importantly, she is now eating well and feeling stronger and healthier.

Brookdale is more than an AMAZING place for mom, they are family. Mom is so happy there and it amazes me how quickly she grew to love her new home. The facility, the staff ...everything about Brookdale is excellent. It truly is the next best thing to home. I can sleep at night knowing mom is happy and safe.
