I love this place. I deliver medicine to them weekly and they always have a smile, someone is always there to assist, they are knowledgeable and my life savers. I misplaced my license and they held on to them for me until I was able to retrieve them!

Beautiful facility! The staff greats you coming and also when youre leaving, me and my wife loved how they asked us how our visit went! They had a game of Bingo going when we were visiting my aunt. Fun! I love their dining room!

Brookdale Henderson has been very good to me. We have good food, fun activities, and we have local churches coming in for praise and worship. The workers here really love and care about me. They are my family.

Ive always thought this community was beautiful on the outside but it wasnt until I went with a friend to visit her friend that lived there that I was just blown away. All I can say is it is magnificent and so clean and feels like home once you walk in the door. We were greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in by two very sweet office ladies. A man who was over nursing offered us a cup of coffee, we felt like royalty. Every single person we passed smiled and said hello and asked if we needed anything. I cant wait to come back over Christmas to visit!

Literally the BEST Assisted Living Place, Ive EVER been too! The staff is SO friendly, the residents are WELL taken care of! The staff there goes above and beyond for ANYONE that walks through the door! When its MY time, Im definitely choosing them! Love them.

We had a very positive experience with Avamere. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to be helpful. We talked to some of the residences and every one of them loved Avamere. We thought the place was very clear and we had lunch and dinner there and the food was excellent. We are very happy with Avamere.

I was in town Monday, and I stopped by to visit my friends mother. She was in excerise class, and man I'm amazed. I joined them for the last 5 minutes or so, so much fun. The lunch was amazing, best meatloaf and turnip greens I've EVERRRRRR had. It was also my first time trying hot water cornbread! I stayed the whole day. Everyone there from the front door to the back are so nice. It is a very homey feeling.

I work for a HH in the East Texas area and I just love coming to Brookdale Henderson. Every time I come, the residents are always busy doing activities and socializing. A resident once told me how blessed she was to be there and said she don't know why she waited so long to come. When the time comes I need a little more assistance, this is where i want to live!

Hello! Wow. I'm in awe of Brookdale Henderson! I came in to watch the Flag Folding Ceremony they gave. It is the nicest place I've ever been! It's beautiful! The ladies are so patient and kind with the little men and women they have. I felt like a celebrity when i walked through the doors with the way the greeted me. I hope this reaches someone.

Wow! I went to visit a family friend that lives at Brookdale Henderson and all I can say it, what a beautiful place. This has to be the best place for seniors I've ever seen in East Texas and I've been in many communities since I'm in the ministry. Smelled wonderful, exceptionally clean and wonderful atmosphere. All the staff were smiling and so friendly!

Service with a smile literally. The entire staff looks/acts like they're happy to serve in any capacity. All directors: Executive, Business, Social, Maintenance, Nurses, Transportation, Cafeteria; the Care Givers & Med-Aids ALL pitch in to make the Brookdale experience positive & rewarding with a family atmosphere. I've had relatives in 3 other facilities and never knew who the top people were- but Brookdale is a "hands on" operation which sets the tone for the entire community. I've also been impressed with the well planned activities that engage & entertain the residents. Brookdale is beautifully decorated and changes with the seasons. The rooms are spacious & food is great & reasonably priced for guests. However, food & decorations don't make a home- but staff attitudes & willingness to serve make Brookdale the BEST home for residents & family members.

Brookdale Henderson was an older community, but it was very clean, and very open. The staff there was probably the most helpful that I have met. The dining area was very clean and very nice. They have a physical therapy room and a small exercise room. The director went out of her way to help me with whatever I needed. The outside center court area was very nice, very well put together, and very pet friendly. It seems like a really good place for those who want to go outside.

My 91 year old Mother moved to Brookdale 2 1/2 years ago. She is better than ever!! The staff is very patient, loving & caring and my mom loves it!! We could not wish for a better facility!! They are fabulous at their jobs and truly love it!!!

I know Emeritus is top of the line. The tour was great. They don't have the type of security with some long-term care, like skilled nursing. The staff is very professional. Just a great facility. Just high class.

Emeritus at Henderson used to be Kingsley Place. My wife was there for a year, I was there at 2 different times 6 months and 3 months. This is a one story building. The environment and the dining area was good. They had a good chef. She managed the whole thing and she was really sweet to me. If I have a complaint, shed come out and talk to me about it. They had bingo, memory games, exercise and all other things. My wife had Alzheimers so I put her here. I was in one part and she was in the other part. They kept an eye on her, they called me anytime and I was there in minutes to see her. She couldnt get out if Im not with her. It worked out well. The staff was wonderful. They didnt really care for her as they should. I had to change her pants and bathe her. I did a lot of things they should have done thats why I left after a year. Then, they started to give her a bath every day, they take very good care of her until she died.
