My mother in law absolutely loves this community! Shes had previously lived in a place where there werent many activities and the food was hit or miss. Now she is part of a painting class, sewing class and other activities. And she loves the food! She has also met many friends and become so much more active and happy! The staff takes such excellent care of her and the residents. The activities director is so engaged and comes up with the most unique experiences and outings for them. My husband and I trust that she is WELL taken care of at Brookdale Club Hill!

Really enjoyed the parade today through the grounds of Brookdale Club Hill. Due to COVID-19 we cant go in and see Dad but the parade allowed all our family to load up the cars and trucks and decorate and slowly drive through. I hear that over 130 vehicles showed up to honk, wave and say hello to all the residents along the path. LOVED getting to see Dad-Papaw and he sure looked very happy as well. Thanks Brookdale !!

Great Staff, Great food, Good variety of entertainment daily. My dad lives in the Assisted Living Bldg. Everyone there treats you like family. They make sure all his needs are taken care of daily. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place for their parents.

I rarely write reviews, but this one is a must. My mother-in-law lived at Chambrel-Brookdale for 16 yrs. She loved the staff, other residents and the little library where she organized and read books often. The food varied...sometimes awesome, other years not so good. Back to staff...I cant remember all the names, but must mention Julia with personalized living!! While this is an extra cost, she went way beyond the scope of her work to care for mom! Shes loving, honest, meticulous with organizing medication and just a doll! When moms memory started going, Julia never complained about the multiple calls at all hours. All the ladies that work with Julia were amazing. Also...Jeromy! He helped her with her groceries, spoke to her with respect and kindness. For that matter all the young folks at the front desk were awesome! I couldnt give 5 stars for a only one reason....corporate. After 16 years of never asking for any apartment updates...they insisted on 2 months rent after we had to move mom to a more secure facility. Quite a financial hardship! 2 months!! Check your lease!

Here at Brookdale Club Hill everyone is so friendly & so helpful all you have to do is ask. My husband and I love our apartment, it is our new home! We have lots of room & we love the patio. We like the fact that if we want to be involved with things we can be involved, if we want to go take a nap we can go take a nap, if we want to sit and read we can go to the library and read and so on. We have a choice to do whatever we want. The activities are great here and there are so many, from slot car races to candle making to scenic driving. There are activities back to back it gets hard to pick at times. Lastly, if you walk out of the dining room hungry its your own fault, because the food here is delicious.

Giving up one's home and moving into a small apartment in a senior living community is not easy, but often, it becomes necessary. Brookdale Club Hill greatly eased that transition for me, and I now enjoy a small, but cozy new "home." The staff has been very helpful, and the smiling residents provide a welcoming atmosphere. There are always activities available, and celebrations of holidays are festive, with elaborate decorations, music and great food. Interdenominational church services and bible studies offered are a plus. There are a lot of good people here. It's a good place for seniors to "hang their hats."

I have been a resident at Brookdale Club Hill for about a month and a half & I am a retired Geriatrics Nurse. When entering this community I had very high expectations because of my background. Brookdale Club Hill has gone above and beyond my expectations, especially in the attitude and compassion of all members of the staff. Each one of them will bend over backwards to help you in anyway they possibly can. The food is really good as well, coming in I had high expectations for that as well. The food is very nutritious as well as very tasty. They make sure you get as much as you want/need. The grounds are very attractive, well kept & include ducks and a gazebo. The rooms are very comfortable & give enough space for that comfort. There also has been a very wide variety of programs and activities, which are very high standard. Personally since I have moved in I have experienced a increase in my health and a decrease in anxiety due to all these factors.

Its like all others, Repair orders need to be addressed faster. Ive lived here almost 2 years. Housekeeping is excellent! Social Life is good, entertainment is great and the communication is great. I do not use it but Transportation is great due to they bring you to places you need to go. They have a lot of people that are here to help take care of you and they are all friendly. I would recommend everyone to come visit the community due to we are all different in what we want and need.

Brookdale at Club Hill is a great place for my parents. The property is very well kept up and has nice big trees and a nice little duck pond that my parents love. All the staff we have talked to have been great and are very friendly, helpful and treat all the residents kindly. All the residents we have ran into really seem happy and love living here. They always have parties and other activities going on that give the residents plenty of things to do. This was a big move and change for my parents, and I really appreciate all the help we received and continue to receive from Tanya, Brenda and the rest of the staff during this life transition for my parents.

Tanya, their sales director showed us the grounds and an apartment, then provided lunch in their dining room for our family to sit privately to discuss our impressions. There was never any high-pressure selling. We all truly felt Brookdale and its staff had the family's best interests at heart. Mother and Dad made the decision to move to Brookdale before we left their campus. Everyone was so cordial and friendly. We met the Executive Director, one of the Assistant Executive Directors, the Director of Nutrition Services, the dining room Manager, and a number of other very helpful employees, like Ana, our dining room server. All of the residents we met along our tour or in the dining room told us how much they enjoy living there. It is apparent that service excellence is on the agenda for every person, every day at Brookdale Club Hill.

This Brookdale Senior Living is a grand old facility that has been completely remodeled. Our mother is very comfortable and happy in her lovely apartment. The apartment itself is large with big windows for sunshine to enter in to the rooms, a full kitchen & a nice size patio for mom's beautiful flower pots. Brookdale has a variety of activities of games, exercise, even water aerobics, fabulous evening events, day trip events as well as planned vacation travel. The meals are served in nice dining atmosphere. Sunday brunch is such a treat! The staff are kind & accommodating. We are pleased that our mom is cozy, happy & safe!

The first time we visited Brookdale Club Hill in Garland, was two weeks before 50th anniversary. We walked into the clubhouse to meet with our Club Hill representative, Becky, and there was a sign in the hallway that welcomed my husband and I by name and also wished us a Happy 50th Anniversary. We were very impressed by that extra touch and the recognition of such an important event in our lives! That was one of the endearing things that made our decision to choose Club Hill as our senior living community! And it didnt stop there! Brenda Recio, the Move-in Coordinator, has been a treasure of information and service. She even threw us a Welcome Dinner to which we could invite friends and family. She did a great job of organizing and putting on the event. She did all the work for us! She sent the invitations and had the kitchen prepare a indoor picnic for all of us! It was a wonderful way to introduce our friends to our new home. Since, she has helped us often as we navigate the process of moving into our new community! The large Dining Room is another place where the Brookdale Club Hill campus shines! The food is always delicious yet nutritious and the deserts are always tempting! At the same time and the young men and women who act as the wait staff are friendly and very alert to the needs of those they are serving. We live in Building 10 which houses assisted living as well as independent living. We have our own dining room in-house. We split our time between the main clubhouse dining room and this one to make the most of our socializing! We have already taken advantage of the many popular, enjoyable activities! There are too many events to count but you are guaranteed to find something to fit your personal tastes! Of course the traditional games, such as bingo cards and board games are regularly scheduled but then there is much more including music, crafts, and scheduled trips and dining out excursions. Oh, I am looking forward to using the outdoor pool that looks so tempting but is closed in fall and winter because of the cooler weather! Last but not least, I am grateful to the residents of the Club Hill campus for opening their hearts to us. Whether its sharing their table with you at meal time or a passing hello in the hall, everyone is so welcoming to newcomers and quickly become not only neighbors but friends! Good job Brookdale, Club Hill! We are happy!

My mother did not want to visit Senior Living options. Brookdale Club Hill was first on my list as it was closest to moms home. We spent close to 3 hours enjoying a delicious lunch, introduction to various staff including one of the doctors that makes regular visits to her patients at Brookdale, learning about the daily activities and incredible travel opportunities, periodic special events with invitations to family to participate ( I attended the Beatles Extravaganza), and touring the attractive campus. After visiting a second facility on day two, my mother wanted to return to Brookdale for a second visit. By day four after much discussion, mom signed a contract and has been very happy ever since. I am most appreciative of the wonderful help and attention Brenda provided in moms transition to Brookdale Club Hill.

I have been at Brookdale almost four years and truly have no complaints. When I moved in I had just lost my husband and my daughter and needed a soothing place to live. I wanted to see trees, flowers, and grass. The beautiful grounds and view from my balcony met all my needs. The staff has done everything they could to help me with any problems that I had. The food is good and always have wonderful deserts. There are more activities than you could possibly do so we have to pick and choose. Cant say enough good things about this place.

This is almost like heaven to us.my wife has Parkinson's and I was doing the driving shopping cooking cleaning. Now I am retired this is not what I would describe as an old folks home yes there are older people like me but it's like a nice hotel.the atmosphere is wonderful food great exelent staff they are so nice.I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to take a load off.all at a price we really can't afford but it is so worth it.I don't see how they do it for that price but they sure do.stop by and check it out!

I've worked at 3 Brookdale communities but Club Hill is the largest and like a cruise ship ? without water. I can't believe the dining experience for 3 meals a day, the activities that involve cruises ? to the Bahamas ? and ranger games; not to mention the ducklings ? and fish ? and turtles ? that are all over the 18acre campus, they bring so much joy to the residents and staff. This is a must see and I want to live here forever!!! ?????

I absolutely loved it here. Brookdale was a place I considered home. Four years of my life were dedicated and committed to Brookdale, and I miss it dearly. The residents were the best part! (: There's a vibe I had being here, a good vibe. I've been to other Brookdale facilities in Dallas, Austin, etc, but none compared to Club Hill. I have been living here at Brookdale for about 4 months now and I am really happy here. The staff are all great people and everyone seems to want to take care of us seniors and keep us happy and healthy. The provide nutritious food for us to eat and places to go, and try to accommodate us with all our wishes.
