Windhaven Senior Living in Frisco was an amazing experience for my 93 year old father, as well as my husband and I as his main caregivers. Even though we moved him from his farm, which was almost 4 hours away from Frisco, he adapted quickly to his new life at Windhaven. I credit much of that quick transition to the loving and attentive care he received in Building B. The caregivers treated him with love, and the administrators as well as caregivers always worked together with us to make sure that he had the very best care possible. Windhaven Senior Living in Frisco met or exceeded all of our expectations.

First off no one will have the empathy, respect, or be as dedicated to taking care of a loved one who is at the back end of life as a family member, however I will say that everyone I encounter at Windhaven had NONE of these qualities. When my loved one was involved in an accident at their facility not one, I repeat not one person called us to see how he was doing or to check in on him, they didn’t care. We received zero communication from management or anyone at the facility. While at the facility my loved one was under hospice care. Instead of working with the hospice care provider on solutions for proper treatment of my loved one, there was zero communication from Windhaven to the hospice provider with just finger pointing leading to no clear solutions. Another example of zero communication on Windhaven's part and a lack of empathy. In conclusion, no senior living community is perfect, and we were not seeking perfection. I would not recommend Windhaven to anyone ever! Zero stars, thumbs down, whatever the rating system is, my experience was horrendous. They were horrible and like I stated before showed zero competence, zero compassion, zero respect, and we received zero communication.

My husband was at Windhaven for less than two weeks. He was pushed off a couch by another resident and died eight days later. The night of the accident NO one from Windhaven called to check on him. NO one called the next two days except to return my calls. NO one called when he died and I know that they were informed. The facility might be new and the food good, but the management cared nothing about my huband, just the money he brought in.

This Building and the workers here are AMAZING!! I have never been to a facility where I walked in and saw the care takers right there with the residents treating them as if they were their own family! Everyone always has a smile on their face, residents and staff!! The ED Suzanne is always going above and beyond for her residents and their families. Jennifer the DON is just as amazing as well and truly listens to the needs of the residents and the families. Would highly reccomend anyone that is looking for a place that will treat their loved one just as if they are their own!

I LOVE this community! It is very beautiful and always so clean! The caregivers alway have a smile on their faces, and are doing activities with the residents to keep them engaged and happy! Suzanne (The ED) and Jennifer (The DON) are both amazing, and willing to help with whatever the families and residents need to keep them happy! I highly recommend this place! Thanks for everything you all do!❤

Windhaven has been home to my loved one for almost 2 years now and I take comfort in the fact that she is in a very good place. All anyone can hope for is that your loved one is comfortable and living the best life they can under whatever circumstances may exist. I like the structure there and feel like she is getting the best care possible.

I visited Windhaven in Frisco several weeks ago and was impressed with the facilities. The professionalism of the staff convinced me that my mother will be well cared for and I expect to move her there from another facility on May 1, 2022.

Windhaven is such a beautiful home for those needing assistance for living. I was so impressed with the Executive Director, Suzanne, and how helpful she was to answer all my questions, All the Administration and care givers have such caring, loving hearts and treat the residents as family. The entire staff take pride and are passionate in what they do. The facility is always clean and well kept. There is mutual love between the care takers and residents. My loved one dearly loves living there. It is a wonderful place for anyone to leave their family.

Such a great family atmosphere for our loved one who was ready to leave independent living and move to an assisted living community! Owners and staff are wonderful! From the moment I stepped foot into the main office on the premises, I knew this would be the perfect place for my mom. I had the pleasure of receiving an incredible and thorough tour from Ginger, who is a doll! Shell take great care of you! Then again, so will anyone else.☺This property hit the head on the nail when combing the feelings of comfort & home, as well as functional, contemporary and modern...all at the same time! While walking around the premises I saw one of the chefs in Building A, core a WHOLE fresh pineapple and slice it up perfectly for a resident! As in beach vacation style! I was blown away.The caretakers are not what come to mind when you think of a Senior Living Facility. Each one of those ladies take pride in their job and treat their residents like their own family. It doesnt even feel right calling it a Senior Living Facility because you feel as if youre at an all inclusive resort! Literally cannot think of one negative about this place! I was not looking forward to finding a place for my momma, and I dreaded every Facility we had to walk through, on top of my obsession with cleanliness... you can only imagine what goes through my mind... I can tell you right now; if you dont at least check this place out before you make your final decision on where to place your loved one(s)... you are going to regret your decision.

Excellent Place for your Elderly Parent! PRIVATELY OWNED! Owners on property everyday to handle any concerns or needs. My Moms care was sub par (to say the least, plus more expensive!) at another local Senior facility and I needed some place that I new she would get the care she needed and give me peace of mind when I was away. She loves the food! She loves the staff and could not be happier! Its more of a smaller boutique type setting and easy for staff to make sure people are out and about and not just sitting in their rooms. I highly recommend!

My company hosted a painting activity for the residents and the campus is beautiful. Brand new facility, state of the art and very spacious and welcoming. The residents love the incredible staff and they could not stop raving about their chef and the daily meals they enjoy so much!

Windhaven is a beautiful brand new facility. The staff is friendly and courteous and all seemed to love working there. I watched them interact with the residents and one was nicer than the next. They had a great rapport and seemed to genuinely care about each other. Could not believe how clean, bright and airy Windhaven was. I had toured many different facilities in the past and most were dark and dirty with a hospital feel. Windhaven is homey and warm. There are great amenities (think beauty shop!) and a chefs kitchen and dining room in each building. I left thankful that there are places that put resident happiness, safety and comfort above all. Check it out, worth a tour!

We agree with the many POSITIVE comments made about Windhaven Senior Living. The staff is caring, friendly, seeks solutions, and they see my father as a family member. The facility is clean (no industrial smell) and well kept up. It is warm and inviting to its residents and those visiting.We spent many hours visiting other facilities, interviewing, observing staff and Windhaven checked all the boxes for my Fathers needs and wants.

Moved my mom to Windhaven from a competitor about a year ago. Could not have made a better choice! Incredibly friendly and courteous staff that treats the residents as if they were caring for their own parents. Food quality is unlike any in the industry; all food is prepared from scratch in an open kitchen. Incredibly Clean! THANKS WINDHAVEN!!!
