Watermere at Frisco is a place overflowing with kindness - from the staff to the residents. The management is truly dedicated to keeping the environment beautiful, peaceful, and full of joy. Trevor Shawber, the Executive Director, and Ryan in Sales are indispensable when it comes to how well the place is run and how pleasant the atmosphere is. They know the residents by name, and they have an open door policy if you need them. My mom had to move away, but her stay at Watermere was top-notch. We will be forever grateful for how well they and the rest of the staff treated her. It is truly a great place to live!!!

I don’t know If I can adequately express how wonderful Watermere at Frisco is for independent living. The facility looks like a Ritz Carlton when you enter. The apartments are well appointed, roomy and have lovely views with the great location. My mom loves all the friendly residents and there are so many fantastic activities that there is never a day without something great to stay active both mentally and physically. I have never seen a facility as caring and well run from top to bottom. It is truly a 5 star living arrangement. We are very reluctantly moving my mom to assisted living after 7 beautiful years at Watermere. Someone will be getting a gorgeous 2 bedroom apartment with a view of the fountain and courtyard. We adored our time at Watermere!!

Watermere is a beautiful complex with very nice and helpful staff at all levels. My mom's apartment - a 2 bed, 2 bath - was very spacious and nicely laid out. She was on the ground floor with direct patio / garden access. The parking garage is secure. The spaces a bit tight but I'm a nervous parker anyway. I have not eaten there but I believe you can try the dining as part of the tour process. Trevor Shawber (ED) was particularly helpful upon my mom's passing.

My delicious dinner was temporarily interrupted. The server, Cooper, reheated my dinner so I could finish. Many many thanks to Trevor for his prompt response to my concerns. I love my balcony but have been upset with it’s condition for quite some time.. Peeling paint on the floor is not only ugly but dangerous to walk on. The day after I expressed concern, Trevor, Jordan and crew came to my apartment and viewed my large balcony. Two days later my balcony had been power washed, peeling paint removed and fresh paint applied. It is lovely and I am very happy. What a great team of guys we have!

I moved my grandmother to Watermere Frisco last week. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been helpful and accommodating. The Executive Director, Trevor Shawber, has constantly gone out of his way to create an amazing experience for us. My grandmother is very happy at Watermere Frisco, and that makes my heart full!

This is a warm and welcoming community that extends both to the people who live here as well as to the staff who support the organization. The layout of the property is initially quite confusing, but in about a week we got our bearings on where our touch points were. The environment has been kept meticulously, and the lawns nicely manicured. While this has been an exploratory visit for my wife and myself, Watermere Frisco is definitely a place where I would like to put down roots when the time comes.

The best people at Watermere are the sales people. They know how to sell the product well. But, once you move in, you find out that a lot of it is window dressing. The apartments are nice, but the maintenance is lacking. Once you get there, you find out that most of the residents do not eat at Watermere. They go to the restaurants surrounding it. One of the reasons my father wanted to go to an independent living place was because he was tired of eating alone, so he found this disappointing. But, once you eat the food, you understand why most residents don't eat there. It is terrible, and they charge the residents high cost for the subpar food. They recently went to a flat fee for the meal. They often run out of something, but you are charged for the item in the large fee even though they ran out of something. I think the manager should be forced to eat it every day, maybe it would improve. There also seems to be turnover in upper management. They seem like they want to fix the issues but their hands are tied. This place has such potential but it just seems poorly managed. It's not cheap, so where is all of the money going?

I’ve only been at Watermere for about a month and I have had a leaky disposal and a leaky dishwasher plus my light in the ceiling is still out! I hope they don’t charge me for damaged floor! The light has been back ordered for over a month!

I moved here in 2021 and since there have been a lot of things that have changed and not for the good. We have lost several good chefs and bus drivers, The bus for transportation is not always available nor reliable. The meals have been changed and sometimes not for the better. Activities and events have been very good. I was told that my rent would only go up 3-5% a year and the next year it went up 15% and then 12% the next year.

My friend wanted me to see your facility. She has been there a time or two and thought it may be something my partner and I may be interested in. The facility is gorgeous. Lots of amenities. The agent that lead our tour was Chief. He was amazing. He had tons of information and was able to answer all our questions. He was very neat in appearance and had a great personality. Chief is a true asset to your community! While this is not he and I at this time, I will retain all the pamphlets and information Chief provided for possibly the future. For over 2 years, I have requested that my exit door be automatic, both ways. I can only get out, with a walker & my pet, by pushing my back up against the handle, inching my feet outside using the other door and then pull out my walker out. All of the doors in a senior living atmosphere should be auto. It would be better if the push button was close to the fob scan. I've only eaten here 3 times, because my experience wasn't so hot. Now, I understand the meals cost a lot more than they did, & you get less food. Also, recently folks were told to only display personal items on the small shelf outside their door. I realize none of us want to see junk, but you should also understand these "apartments" are our homes. Personally, I enjoy the majority of them. I eye is in the beholder. &

Watermere at Frisco is a wonderful Independent Living Apartment Complex for 55+ year olds. In a typical month, they offer 250 activities from which to participate. Add to that free continental breakfasts on Monday - Saturday, paid lunches on Monday - Friday, paid dinners on Tuesdays and Thursdays, an enclosed swimming pool, a fitness center which is rich in a variety of equipment, fitness and water aerobic classes, garages and covered parking, and bi-weekly housekeeping, and you have a wonderful place to retire. My wife and I moved to Watermere five years ago and it was one of the best decisions we made in our life.

My wife, Anne, and I have been a resident here for more than 7 years now and life couldn't be any better. Watermere at Frisco offers a daily lifestyle for seniors that is second to none. From an instructive exercise program each morning to activities, parties, celebrations, and even overnight excursions we have every opportunity to remain active. We have found that over these years, the Watermere programs have kept us more energetic and more involved than we might otherwise be living through our 80s. Being an independent senior is a goal that we hadn't given much thought to until we moved here. Independence just means everything to us and we are able to find things to do at Watermere each and every day to keep us focused on that goal. So, if your aging, think about the importance of staying independent and active for yourself and your family. For Senior Citizens this Independent Living facility can not be beat. We are truly a family in every way, and it makes each and every day a pleasure and a new adventure. Five stars all the way Just had a fabulous 3 day excursion to Fredericksburg, Texas with 35 of the most fun loving seniors I have ever met! The trip - organized by our own Heather, activities director - was such a well planned and executed event, we could not have asked for more. Shopping, day trips, museums, fabulous well chosen restaurants, and card parties until midnight every night. The hotel was not quite sure to make of us - or how to deal with us taking over the breakfast room for a raucous game of Maniac!! Come join our community if you want to add quality to your life

Watermere is a beautiful facility. My daughter and I had a wonderful tour with Ryan. He showed us the gym, indoor pool, movie room, four courtyards, main dining room, cafe, salon, and activity areas. We also were able to see apartments to compare sizes. We had lunch, and the food was very good. The staff and the residents were very friendly. I recommend Watermere independent living.
