My grandfather lived at Heritage Place for a couple of months before he passed away. He loved the food and staff at Heritage Place. My family was extremely pleased with the level of care and personal attention they gave him during challenging times. He loved being able to socialize with other residents and enjoy the variety activities that Heritage Place put on for their residents. I highly recommend Heritage Place for your loved ones.

My father was a resident at Heritage for several years. At one point he wanted to move to the newer, better place in town. We where against it but we moved him. 3 months later he was ready to return to Heritage because he missed the staff (family as he called them), the close knit community and the home feeling of the place. This time we where happy to move him. He stayed at Heritage till the end per his wishes and we where blessed to have them care for our father.

Connie & staff have been terrific & very accommodating. We had to move my mother-in-law without much advance notice due to health issues. She likes Heritage so much she stayed! Thanks to everyone for making her feel so welcome.

Our family gives it a "Two Thumbs Up". My parents have been residents for about 3 years. They along with the other residents and staff endured the "COVID" lockdown and have now returned to the more normal living experience, as of a few months ago. While I know the lockdown was difficult on the residents, the staff and the leadership at Heritage, as well as every other facility in the country, everyone and every business was feeling their way through a very difficult time and making difficult choices. On my last few visits I have observed that the "upbeat and happy feeling" has returned to Heritage Place Fredericksburg. Last week when I visited I was greeted by four different staff members with a hello and a big smile, all within the first 5 minutes of being in the building. It was refreshing. The residents were out and about and mingling with each other and everyone seemed to have a little pep in their step again. I applaud Connie Eckhardt and her leadership team including Kimberly and Ana plus many more, with their ability to make difficult decisions regarding the safety and security of the residents and staff while at the same time trying to create a since of normalcy. I want to thank the staff team who take care of my parents. Many of them have had conversations directly with me about my folks' changing situations and needs. It is very comforting to me to actually see the way they care for my mom and dad. I am so happy that my parents chose Heritage Place as their home. I would highly recommend that you visit them if you ever have the need.

Mom really likes it at Heritage. She has commented that the staff is happy and friendly. I like the environment - the building and furnishings are homey and well kept. The activities and connections with other residents keep mom busy. Heritage has been a blessing! The residents even get to enjoy a weekly Happy Hour!

My parents have been residents at Heritage Place for about 18 months. Our family is very happy with the level of care and personal attention they have been given. Not only is the facility clean and well cared for but the overall feeling of caring for the residents is evident at all levels.The pandemic that we all have have been experiencing has created very challenging conditions in the elderly care sector, but I feel Connie Eckhardt and her entire staff have really made the best of a bad situation. The have kept the residents and their families updated as situations and policies have changed, while always keeping an eye on how to help families stay in touch with their loved ones.I tip my hat.

My Mom has been here for a few years and is quite happy. The rooms are very nice and the staff is friendly. She likes doing her own laundry and is able to do that there. Also can have her hair done They also allow her to have her cat.
