I have been taking care of a lady for over 2 years and I also volunteer to help on the days I'm there. We have been extremely happy with all the people at Brookdale Tanglewood. It is a very clean well-managed facility. The residence love the days they get to go out to different stores and restaurants. They have parties for the different holidays with food and usually music. The residents love to get up, dance and interact with the staff and family. I would not hesitate to put my loved one in this facility.

Each visitor and resident is addressed personally by name with love honor and respect. You can rest assure personal care, attentiveness to needs an atmosphere of home is what this family unit provides.

I highly recommend Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks. Shantrice, Kristy and Emily are simply amazing! They provide helpful information to care for your loved one in assisted living. The staff is always kind, pleasant and helpful. My entire family feels welcomed when we walk through the door. They genuinely feel like extended family. We feel so lucky we landed at Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks.

My wife and I recently visited my mom at Tanglewood Oaks a Brookdale assisted living facility. We had conversations with supervisors in several capacities that have proved to be worthwhile evident in improvements in my moms living condition. We were impressed with the interview we had with director in their awareness of past improvements that have been addressed.. The facility Is maintained very well. The staff is very friendly to the residence. We also were made aware that the staff and director are very much aware of the individuality of each Resident which we appreciated. We have seen an improvement in my moms outlook of Tanglewood Oaks assisted living through conversation she’s had with key members of the staff and improvements that were made since she’s been there. Communication is key to improvements, and we have nothing but good things to say about the communications between myself and Tanglewood Oaks.

When mom fell and broke her leg we knew that we would need to find help with her living situation. Shantrice helped me place her into the perfect room that looks over a beautiful courtyard where there are birds flying and people enjoying the grounds. As exemplified by the picture attached they even love my dog that we bring by to see mom. Loving care and kindness abounds and we know that mom is being taken care of very well. Best choice for mom, hands down!

I am beyond pleased with Brookdale Tanglewood. From my first visit, to moving my mother in, to her current time living there in memory care. It's so nice to know that she is in such a loving and caring place. The staff is so friendly and caring and take really good care of her. We did a move for an elderly couple and the staff at Brookdale was so friendly and helpful it really boosted our teams efficiency. Shantrice made sure our team had access to the building even after hours in order to be able to get the job done!!! 5 stars

This place isn’t horrible, but not 100% great. My grandmother stays here and I can never come see her (im her caregiver) after 7pm because there is never anyone at the front desk to unlock the door. Even after I call no one answers the phone. I normally have to wait 30 minutes or more. And not to mention one the residents somehow wondered out of the facility months ago at night. I saw her standing by the street as I was leaving. I called the facility and everyone ran out of the front door to grab her. If someone is at the desk they would know who comes and goes. I just hope my grandma doesn’t wonder out the front door

We are so thankful for Brookdale and the committed staff who daily care for our parents. My brother and I continue to be amazed at the attention, concern, and care my parents each receive. The activities that are offered are wonderful and my parents enjoy them all! They’ve never complained about the food and say it is so good! That is such an important part of living in a new environment. Any issues with medications or care are always addressed quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this if you were looking for a place for your loved one.

For a number of years we have assisted Tanglewood residents in their move from home to Tanglewood Oaks. Throughout this time my movers have raved about the cleanliness of the facility along with the care and respect that they shownto their senior residents. In addition, the Tanglewood staff has been extremely professional and courteous to our movers, as they always ensure that hallways and doorways are secure, which allows our movers to move furniture throughout their facility safely and efficiently. For these reasons and more we highly recommend Tanglewood Oaks for senior living.

The quality of care at Brookdale Tanglewood has been outstanding. The staff are attentive and responsive to my father's needs, and they always keep me informed of any changes or concerns. He was falling multiple times a day, every day, at his previous facility and complained to me that he did not feel safe. Since he has been at Brookdale Tanglewood, that has completely changed! I have complete peace of mind knowing my father is receiving such excellent care. Kristy, Shantrice and the rest of the staff have been phenomenal! I would 100% recommend Brookdale to anyone.

I have been coming into this facility for a very long time as a nurse from an outside company and I have seen it go through many changes. But right now it is the BEST it has ever been. The office staff and the care staff are the most loving and caring people there is. Every one of the employees goes above and beyond to make sure that all of the residents are taken care of. They work very well with the families and the outside care companies to make sure the residents have everything they want and need.

Brookdale Tanglewood is a great facility! When you arrive staff greets you with smiles, and all of the residents seem happy and well-kept. My mom moved in about a month ago. She has been treated with such kindness by everyone. Kristy, the director is awesome. She’s very involved with the residents. She also runs a tight ship business wise which is greatly appreciated. Phone calls and texts are returned quickly from the nurses and techs. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

I've never had to deal with Memory Care and so I don't have anything to compare Brookdale to but I have been very impressed by the staff. From the top down everyone has been cordial and professional and best of all my wife seems, for the most part and most of the time, to be happy.

Finding quality care for my mother was a difficult decision. The moment my sister and I met the staff at Tanglewood Oaks we knew Our search was over. Shantrice is a sincere and caring person. She did not pressure us while providing information and a tour. Emily and the nursing staff at very good. We feel at ease with the nursing staff taking care of our mother. Every staff member I’ve met comments about my mother in a way that shows me they take the time to get to know her. She’s not a resident, she’s a person living in the community. The billing and operation staff are prompt to answer questions and provide assistance. I could not be more satisfied with the care Tanglewood Oaks provides.

Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks is a wonderful place for your family that needs assisted living. They have a caring atmosphere. They treat the residents as if they were their own family, with compassion. My family has had experiences with other facilities. None of them were even close to Brookdale. I have been my parents caregiver & I am extremely comfortable with the decision we made to move them to Brookdale. If I be could mark 10 stars I would! My parents tell me all the time how happy and content they are. The staff is very professional, caring, attentive and friendly. I have no worries when I travel, knowing that mom and dad will be very well cared for. The staff is very open with me and my sister, keeping us informed. It was the best decision we made, placing them in Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks. I would highly recommend them for your seniors.

I was assisting my grandmother in making arrangements for assisted living, it was a difficult time overall. From the very first meeting, Shantrice was able to bring clarity and caring to the situation, we knew everything that we needed to know from our first visit, she was amazing. My grandmother has since moved in and she is VERY happy there and I am happy knowing she is in a good place with the most amazing staff. The interior courtyard is beautiful, her double room spacious, and the facility is clean and brightly lit. Everyone there is patient and kind, I think it’s wonderful!

My Mom has been a resident here for just shy of a year. She has Alzheimer's but they decided to try her in Assisted Living first before placing her in Memory Care. Brookdale was the only place to offer that and it was a game changer for us. Once she moved in she began to flourish being around the other residents and staff. Everyone that works there is awesome and very easy to communicate with. I've always felt in the loop when it comes to my Mom's care and appreciate the quick response when needed. They are always doing fun activities and when I see my Mom's pictures they post on their facebook page and she's happy, I know I made the right choice!

My father is a very new resident (two weeks) however his stay has been awesome. He has fit in so well here. Making new friends and acquaintances. The entire staff from the cheerful ladies at the desk, the medical staff to the Sales Manager and to the Executive Director. Everyone is so genuinely helpful! Awesome Facility. My 92 year old Dad is a residence at Tanglewood and My wife and I our totally pleased with the superior care my dad receives. We are impressed with the administration, nursing, food, physical therapy and etc. We are happy customers.

My main concern for my father, as a resident, was safety, followed by compassionate care. I feel Brookdale did a good job in both those areas. There is no such thing as a perfect assisted living home. Caregivers are not adequately paid for the work they are required to do, so there is a lot of turnover. Good management is the key, and management’s level of integrity filters down. My family was very fortunate in that the Brookdale Facility my dad lived in had excellent managers. I formed personal relationships with as many staff as I could, and I believe that helped them make positive relationships with my father.

My 103 year old mother resides in the Memory Care unit & receives loving care from Mindy, Nurse Manager & staff. Mindy helps our family talk to Mom on the phone; sends us pictures of Mom doing crafts & sporting a new hairstyle, red lipstick & nail polish! Mindy also created a Memory Board of Mom's life! I am so grateful that Mom receives affectionate care from Mindy & staff! Thank you for making Mom happy during this chapter of her life! God bless all of you!
