We moved mom to Bethesda Gardens this past May. She's getting great care and tells me daily how nice the staff have been which is such a relief knowing others care about her as much as we do. I look forward to greetings from the staff like Yolanda, Noralina, and all the others who have grown to love my mom, and especially Lexi at the front desk who's always smiling!

The new receptionist, Lexi is very outgoing & friendly. She goes above and beyond for all the residents & makes sure all problems are solved.

Bethesda Gardens Memory Care is a wonderful place for your loved one! The staff treat each and every resident with compassion and quality care. I am always greeted with enthusiastic and kind staff members and they truly love the residents like family. You can tell they really do love what they do! I highly recommend them!!!

My parents are here and I'm able to feel a sense of relief that they are in good hands. The staff is pleasant, the room is accommodating and the food isn't horrible. I've eaten many meals with my parents at the facility. Unfortunately a bedwetting problem for my mom with dementia has lingering odors in the room. I feel maybe the laundry schedule is a little strict and may need attention to accommodate residents with dementia and problems maintaining unfamiliar schedules. I have had no major concerns since my parents arrived and I am thankful for the alerts I have received when any issues came about. Thank you Sam, Noralina, Quinton, Brandy, Tony and so many others for your lovely hospitality.

Very lively place to work. Loved all the workers they were very friendly.

Our mom has been at Bethesda Gardens Memory Care for just shy of 4 years and it has been a wonderful experience for all of us. Mother had become paranoid and would leave her home and wonder through the neighborhood and we knew it was time to place her somewhere. Bethesda was a great choice. Mom is happy and healthy. The facility is big which allows her to walk the halls all day with her new best friend! The medical care is excellent. They keep me inform on anything that they find, big or small. The family events are so much fun for all. You can feel the love and you can see how the staff relates to the residence and its great. The rooms are very nice! The staff does a great job of keeping everything nice and clean.

My Mother has been at Bethesda Gardens for a few years. We have been pleased with the care they provide. They have daily activities for the residents, in addition to holiday celebrations which includes families! The staff is very attentive and genuinely caring.

My mother of 94 with dementia has been in the memory care facility for quite awhile. Our family has been thru other places that we had to pull mom out of. Let me tell you. I love this place. My mother is full time care. I have never met such caring and compassionate staff and it is all genuine. Bethesda has been the blessing I had prayed for. If you have been in this situation you will know what I mean when I say I can finally sleep at night If you are looking for a safe clean comfortable place for your loved one, this place has it all.

My mother has not yet moved in. Our experience so far has been great. The facility is clean and other residents seem to be very happy living there. Bethseda Gardens offers so many more services than our current facility. I look forward to move in on Friday. Update: My mother is unhappy here. We thought the food was one thing but it is really horrible. She lives on cereal now. Food is one of the deciding factors when we chose Bethseda. She hasn't even been there a year and has a price increase twice. I really don't know what to do. We moved from a facility that didn't live up to the things we where told in the beginning to Bethseda. Now Bethseda is not living up to what we where told in the beginning. Any place that we have now checked out promises all those same things. Are they being truthful? Who knows. I do know that whatever is said in the beginning probably is only about 50% truthful. We also have to remember that our loved one has their part. But they are suppose to know how to handle the residents that are dealing with dementia and other things. I am waiting for my mom to decide if she will stay there or not. She has on her own gathered information on other facilities. That is how desperate she is becoming. Before she counted on me to find other facilities. In the rush of choosing somewhere new I chose Bethseda. God bless!

I would like to express my utmost gratitude and satisfaction with the outstanding care provided by the Bethesda Gardens for my Mom. We found Bethesda Gardens when we were looking for respite care for my Mom while we were out of town. A few months later, she requested that she go live there full time, due to the friends she met, the activities and the great food. Post COVID, my wife and I had to go back into the office and she was missing the companionship. We started her out in assisted living and she was very independent; but as her needs progressed, Bethesda had options, including the all-inclusive apartments that made the her care affordable. Once her memory declined, we were able to move her to Memory Care within the same community. My Mom enjoyed the activities, especially bingo. Once she moved to Memory Care, the activities aligned with dementia and gave them structure throughout the day. The staff members, including the directors, nurses, med-techs and caregivers, displayed an unmatched level of compassion and dedication. It was evident that they genuinely care for the residents and prioritize their well-being. They establish genuine relationships and strive to meet the unique needs of each individual. The caregivers go above and beyond to ensure that my Mom receives personalized attention, support, and a sense of belonging. They not only assist in daily activities, but also provide emotional support and companionship. It is evident that they genuinely care for the residents as if they were their own family members. Furthermore, the level of communication and transparency between the staff and families is exemplary. This fosters trust and reassurance for families, knowing that their loved ones are in capable hands. They were with us to the very end and gave comfort to my Mom as she transitioned to Heaven. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this assisted living facility to anyone seeking a supportive and comfortable home for their loved ones. It has provided my Mom with a sense of independence, while also ensuring her safety and well-being. Thank you to the entire team for making my mom's golden years truly golden.

My aunt Elva was at Bethesda Gardens Memory Care until she passed away at 96. She was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. Even with severe dementia, when my aunt saw one of her favorite staff members enter the room, her face lit up and she threw up her arms for a hug. On another occasion after my aunt had just returned from the hospital and was in pain, the staff worked immediately to make her comfortable and Betty Rice held her and comforted her in the kindest possible way until she calmed down and was able to take her medication. Betty Rice, Bola and Nicole are just three of the many wonderful staff who give these seniors such love and dignity. We were deeply grateful that we had chosen Bethesda for my aunt's care. The facility was always clean and tidy and my aunt was always cleaned and well groomed. The facility had many lovely features that are worth raving about, but it was definitely the kindness that mattered the most to us. I would highly recommend this home, thanks to their tremendous staff. Signed - Alison Willis

I didn't know anything about Bethesda Gardens before I took a tour there for my Mom to have a place to live and even after reading about it and hearing others talk about it, I still was really impressed by the facilties and the staff when I finally saw it in person. The Director is always so nice and helpful and the entire staff has been great so far and they care about the residents. I'm thankful that I was able to get a room there for my Mother and she has enjoyed it as well. If you're unsure about it, just call and schedule a tour!

I don't even know where to begin on leaving a review for Bethesda Gardens. My 81 year old dad moved into the assisted living side, spring of 2022 after he took a pretty hard fall in his home. From the very beginning, Bethesda Gardens has just felt like home. Devin was the first person I got in touch with when inquiring about Bethesda. She was absolutely amazing. She was very kind and always available when I had a question. I shortly then met Nicole, their nurse. She took the time to learn my dad's history and figured out an appropriate care level for him. She has always been available when I need her. The med staff at Bethesda is great. Any time I talk to my dad, he always mentions how nice everyone is there. Their assisted living side is very nice. They had several rooms to choose from. My dad picked one with a patio that faces nothing but trees. He says, that was the selling point for him. He loves to sit out there when it's cool and watch the birds. He has made a couple friends that he eats his meals with almost everyday. I could go on and on about Bethesda Gardens. All I can say is that I have been very impressed. It was a hard decision moving my dad away from his home. But I know he really enjoys living there. Oh, I almost forgot to mention their physical therapy program!! Donna and Katy have been wonderful! Dad was in pretty bad shape coming in, and there for a while after, but Donna and Katy have worked with him and I am shocked at the improvement he has made. I would highly recommend Bethesda Gardens to anyone looking for a home away from home.

Bethesda Gardens while an older building compared to the newer facilities popping up in the metroplex abundantly has several advantages. First and foremost their establishment focuses on the care of residents and staff and less on the back pocket. Both staff and residents are pleasant. Maintenance crew is top notch and jumped through hoops to get mom's room ready. Rooms have private/shared patio access. The design of the rooms are a better layout than the newer facilities I toured. Housekeeping and laundry service is done with pride. Notice I said laundry service. An overall capital improvement plan is scheduled for 2023 for facelift and new furniture. The only suggestion I would make at this time is to utilize the movie room for scheduled movies and of course football for this fall.

Kudos to Kim Gillis and her staff at Bethesda Fort Worth for their outstanding adherence to protocol in keeping my brother-in-law safe for the last seven months of this difficult COVID-19 challenge, while at the same time doing all they can to tailor his care to his specific needs. There is no doubt that this crew is devoted to the welfare of their residents at great cost to themselves. They are faithful with updates, and highly responsive to concerns and special needs...above and beyond the call of duty! I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to satisfy the innumerable government requirements for elder care, while at the same time satisfying the needs of "high maintenance" residents and their family members (like us!) ! We appreciate them so very much, and highly recommend the "family " to anyone needing care for their family members. We are grateful for Kim and her team!! Brian L. Thom

I have been here now a year, I have to say this is what God's plan is all about! Sometimes we don't understand, and then you stop and say, "what took me so long to get here?" Bethesda Gardens is full of love and care, every time a family member thanks me for us taking such good care of their loved ones, it makes my heart happy! Looking forward to the next year ahead.

The Staff and Management are quite amazing. As you might imagine, they deal with very complex issues on a daily basis, events charged with emotions, pressure, even life and death situations. Their management pf these details is no small matter. In fact, one could never demand such expectations out of people under constant pressure. Yet, they persevere with grace, patience, persistence, and with great effort. When I first encountered this service, I anticipated a bumpy road simply because the environment is too challenging to effectively manage all the time. To my surprise, that has turned out not to be the case. The staff, which is certainly a reflection of the leadership have shown great patience, far beyond what I could have tolerated or expected. And in doing so, they have shown great respect for the dignity and self worth of both of my parents. One of them remains sharp as a tack, insistent at times, even imaginative trying to work outside the system - doing all that they can to stay relevant. My other parent is in full blown memory care and presents challenges in defiance, among other things. Both parents have lived remarkable lives, with admirable qualities, easy to recognize. But in these late stages encumbered by deterioration of old age, they have found a new home, a new chapter with new friends who care for them. By every measurement that care is dispensed with compassion - engaging with them as both friends and caregivers. It is not enough for me to say 'well-done', and leave it at that. Rather, I sincerely applaud and recommend these kind people to the care of your loved ones. They have certainly earned my appreciation and respect, and have done so day in and day out out under the most trying of circumstances - with great grace. It is easy for me to say, they have exceeded all expectations, far exceeding what I myself could have done under similar circumstances. To have someone care for your parents better than you is simply amazing. With great appreciation, Sir Kenneth Hawkins

I admitted my wife the first week of May last year. My wife suffers from Alzheimers and it became very difficult to care for her at home. I was unable to provide the care she needed. I am so glad that i brought her to Bethesda! I had visited friends there previously and I was impressed with what I saw. My wife has been much happier since settling in than she was at home, and better cared for than I could possibly have managed had I not put her in. My gratitude to the management and the staff at Bethesda, they are super!

Bethesda Gardens Assisted Living in Ft Worth gets a 5 Star rating in my book. I sincerely appreciate the love, kindness and respect that the entire staff showed to my Mom, especially in the last days of her life. Many thanks to everyone for Mom's exceptional care and for all of your prayers for her. You are the Best!

This is a place full of love. Long-tenured staff that love on all of the seniors, plus faith-based services, AND the best food around!!! Chef Debbie and her team consistently put out the best menu, serving up a tasteful balance of comfort food and healthy diet, along with diabetic-friendly desserts and more. They aim to please! We are always blown away by their special events. Best kept senior living secret in southwest Fort Worth!

My wife has been there for over 3 years and has had excellent care. From the director, head nurse to all the med nurses and aids all show loving care and hands on when taking care of the residents. Any problems that come up is taken care of immediately by the first person you contact. I definitely recommend Bathesda assisted living and Bathesda Memory care to anyone who has a need for care of this nature.

My father had resided at Bethesda Gardens for 5 years until his passing in Jan. 2018. He began his stay in the Assisted Living complex and was moved to the Memory Care unit as time progressed with his dementia. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the facility. Always clean and pleasant. The staff is very helpful and is much more involved in the Memory Care unit. My father was very happy there, loved the food and staff. Thank you for my serenity!! Thank you for taking such good care of my dad.
