So impressed with the staff and how they try to bring informational and timely activities along with numerous educational opportunities to their residents. I have been so fortunate to work with them on several. Sara is exceptional and caring. As someone who is in a lot of communities, the Landon at Lake Highlands is definitely 5 stars!

My husband and I filled out the survey together so I would refer you to that to see how very much we like The Landon of Lake Highlands as our home. The facilities offer all we could want and more! We mentioned so many things we like about it and still did not get everythng. Our apartments are very well designed with many extras and we have garages, carports and storage units availabe. Additional dining facility, The Bistro, is available for breakfast and lunch until 2PM. We have an outdoor heated pool and lovely landscaping with Magnolia trees, roses, flower beds, etc. We also have a fenced dog park right at the back of our section of the facility. We are close to shopping, White Rock Lake Park and the Dallas Arboreum. All in all a great place to live!

My wife Pat and I would like to share with you how working with Sara Bartolone in the Fitness Center has helped strengthen my husband's back and legs. For years he has lived with back pain; sometimes unable to walk. After working with Sara in our well equipped Fitnesss Center he is now pain free. I recommend that everyone at the Landon should visit our Fitness Center and try it out. You will feel so much better.

I never thought my mom would be so happy. From day one the staff in the entire place have been outstanding. Her apt. Is lovely, the surroundings are beautiful, the maintenance thorough, the food better than a 5 star restaurant - everyone aims to please. The confidence of having her in such a safe, wonderful place is an answer to our prayers.

I love being apart of a community that has a passion to serve our residents, and be apart of their life's journey in health and wellness. My father is so happy at the Landon. The residents and staff are friendly and there are many different activities to join. The staff is caring and personable. The dining experience is wonderful with good food and friendly faces. My father and I looked at many different retirement communities in the Dallas area and this one provided the most amenities for the price.

In the nearly 10 years that Ive had a relationship with the staff and the residents at the Landon (previously Churchill estates) everyone there is dedicated to offer the best quality of life to our precious seniors!! The work team is exceptional and has always gone beyond what is required..

I love living here at The Landon. The property is beautiful, my apartment is beautiful, my many new friends are wonderful, the entire staff is caring and loving and entertainment is great and now off-site jaunts are starting back again....yea!! I dont have to ever grocery shop, prepare meals are clean afterwards (unless I want to) because we have great chefs and outstanding dining and kitchen staff. I am happy.

This was a place that my parents called home for many years. I was always welcomed with a smile and a warm howdy from the staff when I would visit My parents loved living in this community and felt the love and deep caring of the staff and the residents alike. My parents were frequent diners in the restaurant and enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the social time with other residents. Their apartment was a perfect size for them and was always maintained well.

What a warm and inviting atmosphere to live in! My parents moved in several months ago, and they are so happy and content. From the day they moved in we have been impressed with the quality of the staff members. They greet everyone by name and are always eager and anxious to help! Their encouraging words and invitations to join in make a difference! A short visit with a member of the staff gave me an idea of why the Landon is outstanding. He said he had worked at other communities before coming to the Landon. He has been at the Landon for a while and shared that the Landon is a great place to work! That really shows in the quality of the work they do! Our family is grateful daily that our parents find themselves in such a wonderful community!

Sara and Cami are so organized at keeping their Treasured Seniors busy, entertained, motivated and Inspired. They are so pleasant to work with and all the Folks I talk to are very Fond of Sara and Cami and really seem to enjoy living there at the Landon...! My in-laws have recently moved into The Landon at LakeHighlands. They are very happy to be living in such a beautiful place with wonderful luxury conveniences. The management team and the community staff are all so caring, and go out of their way to make sure their every need is met. I definitely feel so welcome when I enter The Landon, they make you feel like family. They already know my in-laws, my husband and me by first names and know who I am there to visit. Warm welcomes, smiling faces and caring, loving attitudes are displayed by the staff consistently. We couldnt have chosen a better place for our parents to live in these late years of their lives. Thanks to all of you, for all you do, to make The Landon a special home for so many seniors.

I have worked here for over 6 years and love my job. It is a privilege to help seniors with keeping their homes clean. I get a lot of purpose being on this team and getting to make someone smile everyday. I recommend anyone who wants to join this team to give us a call !!

We have a wonderful staff that have kept us COVID-19 free during the Pandemic. Our Life Enrichment Director has kept us very busy with fun activities such as interesting lectures and virtual vacation tours in our Landon Theater. My favorite exercise is our beautiful swimming pool. We have four classes per week with a different instruction each day to keep it fresh. This gives us great exercise! I enjoy the Theater room with a big screen where a large variety of movies and television shows are played each afternoon and evening. I really enjoy an evening in the theater with friends. The Landon Book Club meets once a month. We have a wonderful facilitator who selects the books and leads the discussions. Our Chef John ends the month with a wonderful cooking demonstration which is also very enjoyable. On the last Saturday of the month he cooks fun recipes and we share them as a meal and get to take home the recipes he had prepared. I have made many good friends at The Landon by attending many of the activities I mention above. We also have may interesting residents here at The Landon that share their jobs and experiences during lunch and dinner hours.

After making the decision to downsize and move to a senior facility, I chose The Landon at Lake Highlands as my new home. I love my apartment and I have made some wonderful new friends. The staff is wonderful also and have provided so many activities. We have no reason to ever be bored! My life here is good. I made the right choice!

I have been incredibly impressed by the Landon at Lake Highlands in many ways. The residents are so well cared for and cared about, and they seem to be genuinely happy every time I see them. They are always raving about the opportunities for development whether it be in the fitness arena, trips around town (pre-pandemic and I am sure post-pandemic) and on campus socialization. If I had a loved one looking for a new home, I would very happy if they became a resident at the Landon at Lake Highlands!

There are many parts of the Landon team and one of those area is Wellness Sara Bartolone. If you attended to one of the classes by the pool, received services from home health care, or going to the salon, Sara is always on the job. Overseeing all this. Trained at the Cooper Institute, she arrived here 7 yrs ago! Whatever you may need for a healthier lifestyle she can structure a program for your needs. Utilizing the gym fun games on the balance machine. Sara energy & up heat is contagious and its so important the peeps are engaged. I have lived here for 5 years (an old timer). I feel we are watched over by some people who really take our best interest at heart. We have had very good care always whether we are in a pandemic or just everyday things. We are very fortunate to have such a well planned and cared for place to live. We are close to a public lake area, hospitals, shopping and in a quiet neighborhood. We I go somewhere and return, we we drive up I feel Heres Home. I Feel at Home.

I lived here at The Landon for a year, and the staff has done a fantastic job in keeping us safe. We have a lot of choices in activities and food. The correspondence to the residents is very good in keeping the residents & family informed. Sara works well with everyone. Whats so wonderful the wellness center has a variety of equipments . Landon is a safe place and the staff knows everyones name which i think is very important and impressive.
