Brookdale Lake Highlands has been a blessing to my family. I know my family members are safe here and loved. Honestly, the property could use some updating but Brookdale is currently making that happen and it will take time. Overall, Brookdale Lake Highlands is a wonderful community where all the residents are part of a family. Also, my dad and mom's dogs are like the mascots and everyone perks up when they are walking around (on a leash.)

Huge decision to select an Assisted Living when my Mother needed it. We definitely selected the right one when we chose Brookdale Lake Highlands. The staff made Mom feel so welcome from the very beginning. She made new friends quickly and loved all the activities.

Brookdale Lake Highlands has an amazing Executive Director named Terese, who comes from a Medical background. Her compassion, knowledge and care for her residents and staff are bar none! Because she is such a Leader, her leadership reflects in her staff. Her staff is also amazing! This isn't just a job to them but they make your family member their family! Johnathan the Health and Wellness Director is just fantastic! He raises the level of care your family member gets. Tamika who is the Business Office Manager is such a hard worker but still has time to forge relationships with the residents and their family members. She is on top of everything and does it with a smile. The communication is out standing with this Facility! I could keep naming people that have made an impression on us but they know who they are and how special they are to us! I am so grateful my family lives at Brookdale Lake Highlands and is happy and is safe in their care. It relieves a lot of stress knowing they are well cared for. They go above and beyond for their residents and that includes Brookdale Home Health Erick and his staff. So if you are looking for a place for your family member to call home, have peace of mind and want good caring people taking care of your loved one, then Brookdale Lake Highlands is the place for them to be.

All of my living grandparents currently live at Brookdale Lake Highlands and we love it. They are well taken care of and loved on by the staff. They have made friends with the other residents and truly enjoy going to the activities provided by the wonderful staff. They all instantly felt like they were at home, which was huge! We love Brookdale Lake Highlands and all the caring and kind staff that care for my family members.

Brookdale Lake Highlands is such a wonderful and welcoming community. Every time I have entered the front doors I have been greeted with a cheerful Hello, how are you today! I loved seeing all the special decor during the Holiday season and attending the special "spooky candy store" the residents got to visit. The one special thing that sticks out most in my mind is how much time and care the caregivers and administration give to the residents. For Veterans Day all the Veterans were given special door hangers to thank them for their service and my Grand Father was so touched! We love Brookdale Lake Highlands!

Brookdale Lake Highlands is great. Mom has had the best experience in their Memory Care. We cherish the memories from Brookdale. The staff is warm and friendly and always willing to do what it takes to care for your loved. The food is excellent and family is welcome to make reservations to have a meal with their love one. Thanks you Brookdale for taking such wonderful care of my Mom. We Love Brookdale.

I recently took a tour of the Brookdale Lake Highlands Senior Living Center and was very impressed with my experience for several reasons. The one-level layout of the center is clean, spacious, comfortable and feels like home. It’s decorated very nicely and gives you the feeling of being in a close friend or family members home. I could also tell it is a strong community there as there were many group activities and gatherings taking place. The staff is very friendly and prides themselves on the care of people staying there. I don’t give reviews often but I would feel comfortable about visiting my parents at Brookdale.

The staff is caring and helpful and know about the residents personally. It takes a while to completer repairs to walls and carpeting the the rooms. The food is adequate, but the residents say that it is salty or bland. A good administration that runs a nice facility.

I love this community we toured for our dad , staff was very nice the overall feel of the building was amazing unfortunately my dad ended up moving to Houston with my sister but if he had of stayed we would have most deafening moved him in.

I recently took a tour at this wonderful location Brookdale Lake highlands. I was greeted by warm and friendly staff, I was taken on a very detailed tour by the executive director who was so sweet and geniune she really cared about my concerns and wants for my mother, Jackie was awesome. This location was amazing and organized they truly left me with one of the best experiences I've ever experienced. But pricing was a issue and we are working on getting through that mild stone so my mom can join this beautiful facility.
