My mother resides in memory care at Lake Highlands. We moved her here in June of 2022 and it has been a great experience. Rosie and exec team have been wonderful and Shewanesh in memory care is a spark plug for the residents. The rest of the memory care staff knows Mother well and they customize their care just for her. We couldn't be any happier. It is worth driving a few extra miles for the care Mother receives and for the help the exec team gives to our family.

Brookdale Lake Highlands has been a blessing to my family. I know my family members are safe here and loved. Honestly, the property could use some updating but Brookdale is currently making that happen and it will take time. Overall, Brookdale Lake Highlands is a wonderful community where all the residents are part of a family. Also, my dad and mom's dogs are like the mascots and everyone perks up when they are walking around (on a leash.)

Since the day that my husband and I transferred to Brookdake Lake Highlands, our experience here has been stellar and we love all the involvement we have in the community. We are Welcome Ambassadors and I am the community librarian. I have bi-monthly book club meetings in our beautiful library. I am also the current interim resident council president. The food is always something to look forward to and to talk about. Our new chef is awesome. He has made some wonderful changes. The activities are top-notch and Mike is the best. Weve had no problems with our Billings and care at Brookdale Lake Highlands. We love our community, Jacque, all the staff. We are so thankful for everything they do!

We have looked at numerous communities over the last few years and when the time came to move a family member into assisted living we knew Brookdale Lake Highlands was the right choice. Weve been very pleased with the community and all of the staff. Jacque and her team have been fantastic offering their help & support in multiple ways. They are always going out of their way to treat the residents as extended family members. The community is well kept up and there are always lots of activities that are planned not only for the residents but also their families. We highly recommend this community!

Upon entering this beautiful community while assisting my family secure a place for my grandparents, I was greeted by a very welcoming atmosphere and smiling faces. We were given very helpful information by Marie is Sales about how to get the best care possible and how to be comfortable with using the budget our loved ones have. We enjoyed a complimentary meal and the food was wonderful and well presented. The activities schedule is very well planned and was something my grandparents said would really interest them. The executive director Jacque was also very helpful and offered any assistance needed. This is a first class community!

I am writing this to commend Mrs. Marie Freeman for all of her work at Brookdale lake Highlands. Mrs. Freeman has a fierce dedication to the community in the many ways that she serves. I have on times observed Ms. Freeman doing housekeeping at the community. She does this not because she has to, but because of her dedication and work ethics. I have observed her go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure these mundane things that need to be done do indeed get done. She considers each resident her friend and will let you know that in no way uncertain terms how important everyone is.

All of my living grandparents currently live at Brookdale Lake Highlands and we love it. They are well taken care of and loved on by the staff. They have made friends with the other residents and truly enjoy going to the activities provided by the wonderful staff. They all instantly felt like they were at home, which was huge! We love Brookdale Lake Highlands and all the caring and kind staff that care for my family members.

Here at Brookdale Lake Highlands you will find Jacque our Executive Director as a caring leader making sure things run smoothly. Caria keeps nursing flowing. Dining is excellent. They have many menu choices to choose from. Shewanesh is a great help for our memory care community. Marie and Tamika help families work together as one. Mike O is a fabulous life enrichment director, willing to try new things. We at Brookdale Lake Highlands feel safe and well. As a current resident here at Brookdale Lake Highlands, I must say that it is a wonderful place to meet and make new friends. The Brookdale Life Enrichment Program keeps us entertained and active. The staff is always very helpful when needed.

I recently took a tour at this wonderful location Brookdale Lake highlands. I was greeted by warm and friendly staff, I was taken on a very detailed tour by the executive director who was so sweet and geniune she really cared about my concerns and wants for my mother, Jackie was awesome. This location was amazing and organized they truly left me with one of the best experiences Ive ever experienced. But pricing was a issue and we are working on getting through that mild stone so my mom can join this beautiful facility.

Brookdale Lake Highlands is such a wonderful and welcoming community. Every time I have entered the front doors I have been greeted with a cheerful Hello, how are you today! I loved seeing all the special decor during the Holiday season and attending the special spooky candy store the residents got to visit. The one special thing that sticks out most in my mind is how much time and care the caregivers and administration give to the residents. For Veterans Day all the Veterans were given special door hangers to thank them for their service and my Grand Father was so touched! We love Brookdale Lake Highlands!

I love this community we toured for our dad , staff was very nice the overall feel of the building was amazing unfortunately my dad ended up moving to Houston with my sister but if he had of stayed we would have most deafening moved him in.

The staff is caring and helpful and know about the residents personally. It takes a while to completer repairs to walls and carpeting the the rooms. The food is adequate, but the residents say that it is salty or bland. A good administration that runs a nice facility.

From the moment my mother was transfered from Brookdale Club Hill to Lake Highlands, Jackie, Michael, Caria and Carol became my valuable support team. The food is good, the aesthetics are very nice and every aide is amazing. Every visit I witness patience, personal interest and loving care. I tip my hat to this amazing team. Mom is quite happy and I am grateful for her Guardian Angels.

I recently took a tour of the Brookdale Lake Highlands Senior Living Center and was very impressed with my experience for several reasons. The one-level layout of the center is clean, spacious, comfortable and feels like home. Its decorated very nicely and gives you the feeling of being in a close friend or family members home. I could also tell it is a strong community there as there were many group activities and gatherings taking place. The staff is very friendly and prides themselves on the care of people staying there. I dont give reviews often but I would feel comfortable about visiting my parents at Brookdale.

Brookdale Lake Highlands is great. Mom has had the best experience in their Memory Care. We cherish the memories from Brookdale. The staff is warm and friendly and always willing to do what it takes to care for your loved. The food is excellent and family is welcome to make reservations to have a meal with their love one.
