CC Young took exceptional care of my mom when she transferred from the hospital. The therapists are amazing and the CNAs are on top of providing quality care to the patients and residences here. My mom loved the food, the amenities(huge library, massage therapy) and how her room had a great view of the trees and courtyard. I couldn't recommend CC Young enough for short-term care.

Momma was shown so much respect while at CC YOUNG. The staff worked very well together. The PT and OT given to momma really made her stronger, resulting in her being as independent as before she got sick!!!

My MIL lived here for 14 years. The first ten were independent living at the l Outlook which was very nice. After a fall she was moved to assisted living at the Vista. There were a few good staff members but for the most part they are under staffed & don't treat their staff very well. My MIL went days without a shower or change of clothes. The quarterly updates were a joke they were just ticking off the boxes. If your loved one needs to go into assisted living check out Montecito West.. Great care & considerably less expensive.

My husband and I moved here in September 2023. We were impressed from the very beginning with the helpful and caring staff. On the very first day we received a lovely welcome basket from Emily, Staci, and Christine in the front office. Robert came by for a visit and shared very helpful information to help us settle into our new home. We immediately felt a connection with Robert and every time I contacted him, he was there for us and he continues to be a great help. When my husband required major surgery, rehab, and physical therapy. Robert either directed us or had others call me. Everyone from the maintenance staff, dining staff, and housekeepers are exceptional. I can't forget the residents. They made every effort to welcome us, by inviting us to have dinner with them or to join them in one of the many activities that are available. If you are considering CC Young, don't hesitate! I have told many people, it's like living in a cruise ship. They truly care about you and treat you like family.

My mother has lived at CC Young in independent living for several years and my husband and I are Point Members there. We live very close and are frequently on the campus. I'd like to give a pat on the back to every single person who works there - from the Activity/social planners (Brian and Aaron and Angela, etc) to the Maintenance people (who are amazing - friendly and helpful to everyone who lives there), to the Tech Dept (who never make anyone feel embarrassed to ask a question), to the servers and kitchen staff who do an excellent job. The administrators meet with the residents regularly and listen to their needs and wishes and try to make it happen). The medical/PT staff do an excellent job of putting on informational sessions to help residents learn about ways to stay active. The excercise instructors offer a wide range of activities that fit almost everyone's needs. The fact that Osher Learning from North Texas University is on campus (and the only site in Dallas to offer lectures on everything from history to ... well, everything! ) makes it a very special place. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone coming to visit here. The community is engaging and welcoming and we've seen it through both my mom's eyes and also from our own.

The respect and compassion shown to my momma and my family was priceless. The staff worked well together helping wherever they were needed. Ms Jones, case worker for my mom, stayed in constant with me making sure we were getting the best care and walking us through the steps of what to do to help my momma's recovery. 5 stars are not enough stars to give CC YOUNG. I recommend this place without any hesitation.

I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff was in caring for my mother. Shout out to Shari and Tia for making an otherwise painful experience so much better. I know my mother was always cared for, loved, and appreciated as a person. Everyone on the 5th floor team was lovely. Highly recommend.

This place looks like the Omni Hotel of senior facilities. I have passed this place for years and assumed that it was an upscale high rise apartment, but it is actually a rehab. When my dad was approved to do his rehab here I read the mixed reviews. I knew I wanted to review our overall experience, but to avoid being enamored by the top tier interior decor of the place. I decided to wait until he was discharged before I left a review. This place, the staff and service are AMAZING! They were very sweet and helpful with my Dad. He had a very nice comfy bed to sleep in, a large room to himself, with an awesome view! It was the perfect place for his recovery. He enjoyed the food there and they would give him a snack after meals if he wanted one. They also have a diner on the 2nd floor where staff and visitors can buy food as well. The parking garage is well lit and monitored. I felt safe coming and going from the facility in the evening. If my Dad ever needs rehab again or long term care CC Young will be our first choice!

This is a long review but hear me out. This review is for short term rehabilitation. My husband has a chronic illness and he has stayed in several different rehab facilities ranging from good to so terrible i had to call 911 to get him out of there. So i know what is available. I recently broke my ankle and needed rehab. CC Young was recommended to me by the hospital physical therapist. My stay lasted 10 days on the 7th floor of their Vista building. My first impression was how beautiful this facility is. The decor is beautiful and the building is full of big windows with beautiful views of White Rock Lake. Its layout is very handicap friendly and it is obvious a great deal of thought went into both how it looks and how it is used. The food is exemplary with lots of fresh vegetables and lots of choices. Although i did not go to many, there were lots of activities and the calendar was posted in several places. A place like this can be lovely but skilled nursing is very service intensive and the core of any facility . I can honestly say the staff at CC Young are the best part of the place. They were all thoughtful, helpful, engaged and available. They made my stay a pleasure. From physical therapy to housekeeping every staff member was exemplary. There were several notices of staff training and events. Clearly they ensure staff are engaged and equipped to provide the best care to the patients and it shows. The physical therapy department was well equipped and well staffed with knowledgeable and motivated professionals. Regan, Blair, Peter, G, and Skylar all worked hard to ensure my injury the best recovery possible. The nursing staff were all very available and empathetic. They answered all my questions and helped so much to manage my pain. Derek was a star nurse helping me through the worst of my recovery. Discharge was great. The social worker Jolisa and nurse Brittney worked hard to help me transition and took the time to answer all my questions and made sure i understood my aftercare plan. It is inevitable that my husband will need rehab in the future. He will be going to CC Young. I cannot say enough about the place. On a personal note, i love the outdoors and arrived after 2 weeks in hospital craving sunshine. The sensory garden on the second floor is beautifully maintained with plenty of seating, water features, flowers and peaceful wind chimes while being very handicap accessible. I spent many hours in the garden healing both my body and my soul

Where to begin. My grandmother has been to this facility multiple times in the past and always had a great experience. However, this time was hardly a good experience. From admission to discharge, the lack of communication and rudeness of many of their staff was unfortunate. Working in heathcare myself, specifically skilled nursing, I would be taking a long look at my training procedures and policies that are in place. Just because the money is there to make a facility look nice doesn't mean you slack on staff training. I will be sending a longer message with all of my issues, specifically related the day of discharge and admission. When a nurse and supervisor tell the POA/HCPOA of a patient who is 1200 miles away that it is a HIPAA violation to discuss lab draw dates and results over the phone is obsurd considering similar informationwas discussed during a care plan meeting...OVER THE PHONE. Depending on how C.C. Young wishes to address the concerns in the soon-to-be sent email will determine if a call to the state is in order. I will say that the therapy department was great. My grandmother was and has always been happy with them. Communication is key. Don't let the glitter fool you.
