One of the most loving acts you can do for a loved one is provide a safe and loving environment. In my private caregiving for my lady, I see her getting gentle care and love. Praises to Lorena for her attention to details, medication care, always thinking and generous loving care. Also great gentleness, care and attention to all from Brion. Huge thank you to Ty for her sweetness and attention to my lady. And thank you to Autumn for stepping up when needed and her kindness. Thank you to Xavier for the many good meals he prepares plus keeping the kitchen clean. Thank you to Minnie as manager taking a lot of responsibility and listening to requests, etc. I do miss some of the past caregivers including Ashley who cared for my lady with great love and concern. It would be terrific to have a sole person for housekeeping to keep floors swept/mopped, plus bathrooms clean and lounge chairs/wheelchairs clean. Have noticed my lady's sheets should be changed more often/on a regular basis. As a private caregiver I do notice daily details. Having more staff per resident would benefit everyone! I am primarily with my lady during day hours; The day staff work very hard and extra! Giving them Praise, a pat on the back, plus Extra pay or a Bonus for great work would make more positives. Thank you to the evening and night staff also for their care. Caregiving equals love......as we each think how personally we would want to be cared for. Galatians 5:22 ☆Update on my review: Several of my concerns have been addressed and improved.....this is a big plus in my private caring for my lady. Staff has had changes and management-M. Washington is working harder than ever to improve the entire facility. If anyone has concerns, pray, speak up and address it to the correct person with respect and kindness. If everyone is diligent in their work & caring to these dependent residents who have great needs, they will be taken care of as they should. Improvements are still needed; yet I am encouraged. Praises to Elizabeth, Brion and Sammi for working extra hard. Huge thank you to Dee and Dexter for their service. Blessings on the love & care for your loved one!

My mother in law has been at your Grant Road location for over a year now and I visit her 3 to 4 times a week staying about 2 hours. So needless to say I’ve gotten to know the employees well. Your staff is so loving and caring. Any problems are resolved quickly. Don’t get me wrong there have been some bad apples in the past but the staff over all is great right now. The problem is that a lot of your old employees left for better pay. Please don’t loose these people for the same reason. Ty, Lorena, the cook and the new really tall guy are wonderful! My loved one has been at Village Green ( Edens ) for about 3 years. They have always had a great managers, Erma and Raqual. But the current one Minnie is not very caring, becomes combative when questioned about anything. She is rude, dismissive, showing very little compassion for family members . It is difficult to see our loved ones in such poor health. Minnie does nothing to help with our concerns or feeling. Owners need to look into this.

Our family is so lucky to have found a place like Eden for our mother. The staff (especially Raquel) made her feel so welcomed. They treat residents with dignity and respect. Our mom is thriving after 2 horrific experiences in out of state memory care. The Eden team really engages with residents. For ex: My mom loves to clean and they give her jobs so she can feel useful. Raquel keeps us informed and shares pics even on the weekends. They have parties and crafts and movies and excercise videos. Our mom fit in right away and is making friends. The facility is beautiful. On the first day she was served lunch in the courtyard. She said she felt like she was at a fancy resort! I could go on for days about how much we appreciate the team at Eden!

Our family is SO grateful for Eden Memory Care! If I could give them 100 stars, I would!! We are blessed to have Mom living in such a beautiful home, surrounded by loving staff who are like family to her and to us!The facility is amazing. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to provide dignity, peace and beauty for our loved ones. The walls are bright but peaceful, the artful ceiling murals add life and interest, and the central living area is filled with comfortable, beautiful furniture that looks and feels like home. In the main living area, a relaxing water feature and skylight welcome you home. A separate dining area with a glass wall allows visiting friends and family to eat the delicious prepared meals or enjoy time together with some privacy, if desired. The back wall of the living area is made entirely of glass, so that natural light floods in all day long. The backyard, which is visible from inside, is beautifully landscaped and the covered patio is a daily invitation to sit and enjoy the relaxing sounds of the outdoor fountain. Theres even an herb garden for gardeners and a walking path for evening strolls, as the backyard is securely locked. Another factor that drew us here is that there are only 16 private rooms-baths, adding another level to the intimate, close feeling of family in this wonderful home. The entire indoors is open to all residents, and because the front and back glass doors are locked at all times, those with dementia are safe to walk around without feeling like they are locked out of certain areas.The shining gem of Eden, though, is the incredible staff. A house can only be a home if the people living in it feel loved and cared for, and Edens staff excels at being family! Although weve been through a change in director and ownership, we truly believe that in every step, Mom and the residents have been top-priority. Erma, the first director we met, was the reason we came to Eden. Her love and compassion overflowed from her sweet spirit. We felt an immediate peace knowing that God had determined this to be Moms home for the rest of her life. Then Raquel came on board as Executive Director early in 2020, and I truly believe God brought her to us for such a time as this. She navigated Eden families safely through COVID! She is the ROCK of this home, and her attention to detail, leadership skills and deep personal love for her Eden family (which I know she sees as her ministry) shines brightly and carried the residents and families through this very difficult time. Shes committed to abide by all regulations and keep her residents safe, while at the same time making sure that each one is surrounded by love, encouragement and as much family communication as possible. She and her staff creatively and lovingly cared for our loved ones during quarantine, knowing that they were the only ones who could hug and love them. They created extra activities and fun events to make up for being away from family. They would make regular Facetime-phone calls and highly encouraged behind-glass visits at the front door. They are amazing at making residents feel special. We celebrated Moms 80th birthday in July 2020, and although we had to sing Happy Birthday and talk to each other through a glass window, we still had a wonderful time eating cake, ice cream and enjoying MUCH laughter!Nothing couldve prepared any of us for this pandemic, and yet Raquel and her amazing staff, by trusting in God, following the highest standards and loving their family so well, carried all of us through it with flying colors. My mother has not gotten sick, and I never worried about her care or comfort during the months when I couldnt help her myself. My family and I are beyond grateful for Raquel and the staffs true devotion and passion for what they do. We trust them fully; its a blessing to know that Mom is so well loved, cared for and treated like the precious gift that she is!Thank you, Raquel and the entire Eden Angel Staff, for ALL that you do! Your love, partnership and friendship in this difficult season of life is a blessing to our entire family!! GOD BLESS YOU!

Raquel Medina, the Executive Director, is very caring and pays attention to the smallest details. This is a great place to live. Beautiful blue bedrooms in a small intimate community. The staff keeps the residents engaged in activities to stimulate their brains instead of sitting alone. The management is very accommodative when circumstances change with the resident. Definitely would recommend.

The decision to entrust a loved one to a professional care facility is filled with deep mental and emotional concerns, even in the best of circumstances. Our familys selection of Eden Memory Care for our father proved a welcome relief for these.Eden Memory Care is resident focused. At present, the Eden Memory Care building can accommodate sixteen residents, providing each with their own individual apartment and private bathroom facilities. The facility is clean, open, and bright. Meals are prepared on site daily. Physicians and dentists can visit residents on site, as well.I noted that care givers provide individual and attentive care to each resident. Residents are kept clean; their clothes and bedding are laundered frequently. They are fed; their prescription medicines are administered on schedule. There are daily activities to keep them engaged and active. Their evening hours are monitored attentively.Our father received exceptionally fine care and attention to his health care needs while with Eden Memory Care. Following his return to Eden Memory Care following two serious hospital stays, care givers responded to his needs with an attention and diligence that I can only classify as superb. Each of the care givers, the Executive Director, and the Managing Partner treated our father with the utmost respect, compassion, and dignity. Their loving care, attention, and concern for our father during his final days, as well as his already grieving family members, extended around the clock. It was angelic to witness. Their example will be with me always.

After moving my husband three times due to awful care, the third time was a charm. Eden Memory Care provides a loving, safe, and wonderful environment for my husband. And the staff is highly competent! Erma the director not only is truly kind, she knows her stuff and manages the place in such a professional manner. I admire her and her staff so much and I am so grateful to all of them! Also, the food is fresh and chef prepared by someone who knows about brain health. Robin is so great. Dementia is the worst disease ever, but Eden Memory Care provides a place for family and helps us get through this terrible time.

Let my begin by saying Eden and all it represents is appropriately name. My jaw literally dropped in surprise when I saw the beautifully hand painted entry. As I entered it got even better. There is also a serene mural on the ceiling in the commons area as well. Theres an ambience created by the expansive skylight and mural that invites a both cheerful and peaceful environment was on a quest for a place that would provide the best of care needed for my Mother. Eden was recommended to me by a doctor of geriatrics. Although Mom was still in Assisted Living at the time of the referral, her need for guided efforts to encourage activities along with her increased need for physical and mental assistance was becoming apparent. When Mom fell, tore her rotator cuff and became wheelchair bound, she then needed a new place to call homeToday, my heart is full with thankfulness and appreciation for all the devotion, respect, care and considerable time given to not only my Mother but to all the residents that are blessed to call Eden their loved ones home. Having had experience with other Care Facilities in the last 5 years, I can honestly say the quality of care at Eden surpasses them allEden has given my Mom a full, purposeful and meaningful life. Their sincere management team has taken the time and efforts required to employ a staff that possesses a loving heart towards each of their residents. I call them Moms angels am forever grateful to Eden for tending to my Mothers personal needs as well as tending to her heart, her soul, her joy, her peace AND also her nutritional (Thank you Chefs!) wants and needs. Thank you for your loving care of Mom. She loved you, trusted you and knew she could ALWAYS depend on youYou are in my heart and Moms forever! God Bless you and I love you always.

My Mother is 95 years old and had been living in a memory care facility in Virginia. Eden Memory Care offered a smaller, focused and highly personal environment that we felt would be a real improvement over the Virginia situation Mother was living in at the time. Eden Care has exceeded our expectations in every way. There is a feeling of community that is hard to describe. People live there, not exist there. He has dementia and after a few conversations with Irma I was really impressed.After visiting about 20 other places it was clear to me that Irma is hands down the most knowledgeable, understanding and she genuinely cares as you go through this process. Ive had the opportunity to observe memory care facilities in multiple states. Eden is one of the best. Patients get lots of attention. Elements like lots of sunlight, waterfalls, the big garden and comfortable rooms and public areas tell me this facility was designed from the ground up with patients comfort in mind.Things like excellent and nutritious meals in a well-lit dining area show this commitment extends to Edens daily operation not just its design. Those arent things you will find at every facilityI am also very impressed that, every time I have been at Eden, the owner is on site. At some facilities you never meet the owner. Not only does Mr. Ghesani always seem to be there, while Edens ED is top-notch, Mr. Ghesani also seems very aware of the history and status of every resident in his care.

Eden is a beautiful, friendly place. But, in terms of why its a great place to entrust your relatives to, what you dont see is as important as what you do. Controlled access, video cameras, no-skid floors, motion detectors in the rooms, call buttons, and fall sensors in beds and wheelchairs means residents safety and security is a priority. Theyre very family-friendly too. Patients immediate relatives have round-the-clock access, there are private dining rooms, and Eden makes every effort to encourage family involvement.

My wife recently moved to Eden after a very poor experience at another facility. My learnings from our first choice educated me on what to look for and expect from a memory care facility. Amanda at Eden was extremely knowledgeable and able to respond fully to all of my initial questions about the facility itself and, most importantly, the philosophy employed to enhance the daily life of persons residing there. The move to Eden was confusing and stressful for my wife. However, in very short order she has begun to acclimate beautifully (which never happened after four months at my first choice). I credit the entire staff and ownership for this remarkable occurrence. Visiting my wife and seeing the serenity and comfort she now has is more than I could have hoped and wanted. Everything about Eden (managements commitment to excellence, staff-to-resident ratio and interaction, meal selection and quality, grounds and physical plant, providing highly competent medical assistance) has been comparable to a prayer answered.

I love this place! I had been looking for awhile to find somewhere I felt comfortable leaving my father when the time came that he couldnt stay with me anymore. They opened last year... and in Dec it was obvious I needed somewhere for him to live. The building itself is well designed and beautiful. It is a smaller care unit, max 16 residents. Another plus on my list! It is very close to my home so I can be there very quickly if necessary, as well when I visit. Their outdoor area is pleasant, large and facilitates walking with a wheelchair. My father likes being outdoors so its nice to have a good area to get out with him.The week I moved in was difficult for me, plus it happened to co-incide with one director leaving and another coming in. As is usual with a change there was some staff movement as well. Ive been oextremely impressed with how well Erma, the new director managed to overcome the difficulties of that change. She is so resident oriented and more often than not, right in the middle of helping each resident. I love all the staff! Everyone is willing, loving and compassionate. This has made my transition from caregiver to daughter so much easier.Anytime I need information, help or extra care for Dad they are there. And dont care if I come in the middle of the night because I am anxious about Dad. (I live really close by)This is his new home and it feels like home.Reading the review above where he had such a bad experience is disconcerting, however it was with a different Director, who is no longer here. Erma Foutz is an incredible person and manages Eden very well.Oh and did I mention they have a professional chef for the meals? The food is fresh, well planned and well cooked three times a day! Seven days a week! Each resident has different needs but they all eat well!Eden feels like a private 5 Star hotel....I actually didnt want to write a review because I want to keep this good place a secret but realized there may be more families like me wanting a great home for their loved one. It was a Godsend for me to find them.
