I can't say enough good things about the Management and Staff at The Pointe, they are fantastic! My Dad lived there for almost 2 years and received excellent care and support. He liked living there and said it felt like an extended family. When Dad got ill they continued to support us through the Hospice experience.
October 2022
My mother has been a resident for several years at The Pointe. The care and friendships she had made really made this transition much easier than expected. The staff and other residents are part of her family. The leadership team and staff are great and engaging with both the residents and families.

I have been visiting The Pointe for about 8 years as a hospice employee. The people here are down to earth and make you feel like family. The care that I have seen the med aide Jamie and CNA Tristan give has always been excellent. Kat is so amazing with her spunk and creativity for getting the residents moving with all kinds of activities. Jessica is always welcoming no matter what role she is in. Wendy the Executive Director and nurse of the community, always gives the best care to her patients and their families. She will always put them first and that is something that is exceptional to find. It is an honor to be able to be a part of this community.

I have been coming to The Pointe as a home health nurse for several years. The staff who work here treat the residents like their own family. Food is AMAZING and Chef Frankie makes THE BEST PUMPKIN PIE. Actually, everything he makes is DELICIOUS! His cook Jamey makes great soups! Jessica, who has been here forever, first as Activities Director and then as the Assistant Director, consistently goes above and beyond to make sure residents feel comfortable when they move in. Doug, business manager, has a great sense of humor. He likes to wear funny socks, and the residents enjoy his monthly doughnut group, as well as when he cooks on the grill. Wendy, the ED, is compassionate and is someone who definitely doesn’t just sit behind a desk. She has no problems being hands on whenever extra hands are needed. Whenever I have patients looking for a place to move to, I always include The Pointe in my choices.

My mother recently moved to The Pointe at Cedar Park. My hope was that she would feel loved, and be happy. In only two and a half weeks she already feels like she is part of the community. They take very good care of her. She has told me several times that she likes everyone who works there! They notice what she needs and initiate care. Mom told me yesterday that she thinks we picked the right place.

As a RN for the past 26 years I have had the opportununity to be in many communities and meet many leaders. I can honestly say that the Pointe is the best of the best. Wendy, the Executive Director is a seasoned, compassionate nurse leader that places her residents first. What makes it special? 1. Wendy and her team work tirelessly to bring normalcy in the middle of the global pandemic. The residents at The Pointe at Cedar Park are family. From chili cookoffs, Halloween parties and Holiday celebrations they always make sure to bring fun and family to each day. 2. The Care. Having a nurse leading the team, she understands the importance of safety during pandemic and works tirelessly to ensure her team are well trained and equipped with whatever is needed to keep her residents safe. Her team is incredible and treats each resident as family. 3. The Food. Frankie is a master in the kitchen. He makes incredible homemade pizza, chili, healthy foods and desserts. for every occasion. If you are looking for an assisted living in the Cedar Park or Austin area I would highly recomment The Pointe at Cedar Park.

To Wendy, Jessica, Kat, Bridgette and all the amazing staff at the Pointe. The Ponte provided excellent residential care. The level of care was exemplary. Recently passing of my dad, Mr. Bill lived at the Point for the past 5 years. My dad was so proud to be a resident and loved his apartment and all the staff. He use to say he will only leave his home feet first upon his death. We cannot begin to express the gratitude that the family and I have for all staff at the Pointe and wonderful care.
September 2020
The staff and Director, Wendy, at The Pointe at Cedar Park are wonderful. They create a happy environment for those who live there and the care is very good. They are kind people who care about the elderly. They have a lot of processes in place that help families take care of their loved one. Mom has been there a year and we have had no major issues. Nothing is perfect when a person is elderly, that is often the way life becomes, but The Pointe has made the transition for our family from home to facility very easy.

If you are looking for Assisted Living, look no further! The Pointe is the place to be! Wendy and her caring staff are incredible! They made the transition for my Dad from another facility to The Pointe effortless. My Dad as well as his family, were welcomed with open arms by everyone the very first day! That welcome feeling is felt every single time my family and friends enter the doors! This community of seniors are treated like family. Kind words, smiles, hugs, and encouraging words are seen and heard all the time throughout the facility. My Dad is blessed beyond measure to be a part of this family at The Pointe! This is my Dads home!

We were very happy with the personalized care my Mother in Law received at the Pointe. All the staff went out of their way to be super friendly and professional. They even helped her decorate her room!!! I found it to be a very positive atmosphere. I thought the facility was lovely and sparkling. I especially liked the access to the private courtyard with all the bird feeders and bird baths.

Mother and I love The Pointe. Everybody there is so caring and competent. We love her apartment and we enjoy little jaunts to the courtyard and to the living room and dining room for sing-alongs and ice cream socials. We feel like members of a big loving family. We couldnt be happier! ❤

The Pointe at Cedar Park is a very homey place! All the staff is very kind and compassionate! Each one of them goes above and beyond every day to care for each individual resident. From the Concierge services (shout out Kat), to the activities director (Jessica), to the amazing chef Frankie, the wonderful care assistants (whom are extremely hard workers), to the Executive Director, Wendy. Wendy insures all the residents are lovingly cared for. I always enjoy my time there, caring for the residents and a delicious lunch! I would highly recommend The Pointe for a loved one or family member ❣
March 2019
The pointe at cedar park has a very nurturing and caring environment. The staff goes above and beyond for every resident.the staff takes the time to get to know every resident, as well as their family members. This is so important for both the residents and the families. Every family member wants to be assured their loved ones are being cared for in a loving and caring way. I have been going to the pointe for years, and it is a 5 star facility. Wendy is the best, she takes the time with every resident to make sure their needs are being met. Follows up with family members to make sure their needs and wishes are respected as well. If you are considering an assisted living facility, this would be a great place to go and tour, you will not be sorry. Dont misss out on giving your loved ones a place that they could call home proudly.
March 2019
My mother was a resident at The Pointe at Cedar Park for nearly 5 years until she passed away recently. She was never happy about needing to be in an assisted living facility after having a stroke and was often very difficult to get along with as a result. However, almost all the staff at The Pointe went out of their way to be kind and understanding with her, often going above and beyond to help make her feel comfortable.

We were searching for assisted living and Wendy was more than helpful answering questions and working to set up a time to come tour. Although we did not end going to The Pointe because of the distance from our house, Wendy was great to work with.

Caring community. Great staff. I would recommend it for anyone who has a parent with safety needs.
September 2018
My mother has been a resident of The Pointe at Cedar Park (not to be confused with The Point) since April 2018. She was not thrilled to be moved from an Independent facility into an Assisted Living Facility, but the staff has been very accommodating to her needs and tries to get her involved in all the activities. Its well maintained and seems to be a good fit for her. I live out of state but travel to see her every 6-8 weeks. I call her everyday and sometimes, as a result of those calls, I have to call the front desk to ask someone to check on her, go hang up her phone, turn off the incessant beeping from her portable oxygen machine, or figure out how to turn on her tv. When Lisa answers the phone I can actually hear her smile on the other end. She is always so friendly and quick to tell me shes going to run right down and check on my mom. If she cant go herself shell send someone else. Shes even called me from my mothers room to tell me shes rebooted her phone and checked all the cables, etc. She puts my mind at ease when I cant be there. Wendy, the Administrator, answers all my calls and when I bring a concern to her attention she works hard to resolve it to my satisfaction. Because of her my mother was able to get a much better portable oxygen tank from her Hospice provider that is easier for her to handle. That was above and beyond and more than I expected. I would recommend this facility if you have a loved one needing to transition to an assisted living arrangement.

September 2018
My brother and I looked at several Assisted Living Facilities for our parents and found exactly what we were looking for in The Pointe at Cedar Park. The Pointe is a one-story, warm and homey feeling building with a beautiful interior courtyard. The staff have been patient, kind and caring to my parents during this somewhat difficult transition from independence to assisted living. From the Executive Director to other nurses to the other caretakers, everyone has gone over and above to make sure my parents are safe and cared for. I highly recommend The Pointe.

We moved from Virginia and had to find a residence for my Dad. This residence is truly a wonderful home. The private apartment style room is large and roomy. The staff are all kind, helpful, and easily approachable. The food is great (as evidenced by my Dad's weight gain). Cedar Park is a beautiful city and accessible to everything you need without being in the middle of all the big city mess. I would recommend The Pointe at Cedar Park to anyone searching for a place that will care for a loved one with a feeling of home.
