June 2023 Jim worked for two hours trying to get past The Old Spectrum Guard Thursday night and finally succeeded getting to The New Sectrum Guard, Jim worked his magic, Spectrum worked their magic, and I finally did my part - I used Nighthawk to fully set up my Netgear account and router. Everything works great now! My mom moved into Maple Ridge three months ago, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment she arrived, everyone has been incredibly welcoming. She has made so many new friends, including members of the wonderful staff. I can’t say enough about how friendly, caring, and attentive the management team, housekeeping staff, and kitchen staff have been. We also hired a caregiving team that has offices on-site, and they have been equally amazing. We transferred from another Hawthorn property, and one of the biggest differences has been the dining experience. Instead of complaints about the food, my mom genuinely enjoys the meals at Maple Ridge. The community is always clean, well-maintained, and inviting, and the managers are visible and engaged with residents and families. I always enjoy visiting my mom and being greeted by so many friendly faces. If you’re looking for a senior living community where residents are cared for and truly feel at home, I highly recommend Maple Ridge.

I’m writing this as a daughter/caregiver of a resident at Maple Ridge. My mom has been there since the first opened up in 2019. She is a retired, professional pianist, and plays their baby grand piano every day before meals! They provide three nice meals a day and provide housekeeping services every week. It is a wonderful place for anyone who is retired and not wanting to have the responsibility of keeping up or owning your own home. The live-in management is always super nice and helpful and always available 365/24! They have plenty of entertainment and fun and games and they have a daily shuttle bus that takes people to appointments and shopping. We love everything about Maple Ridge! Come check it out!

Greg was Huge help to us for ideas of how to select an independent living apartment. Not "salesy" but very insightful. I expect Maple Ridge will be on our short list as we move closer to needing to make such a move.

I'm so happy to have Maple Ridge Independent Living for my mom. Jeanette, Doug, and Greg have been so helpful with getting my mom settled in. The entire facility is spot less, and the food is chef quality. We came here because of Small Town Caregivers -Jennifer, Diane, and team. They are such sweet and patient caregivers. Maple Ridge was the best possible answer for our mother. She lived there for 2 1/2 years, and those are years we may not have had if we had left her in her home. Her apartment was pretty, spacious with lots of storage, and a very safe bathroom. The dining room was so nice and the food always delicious (she added weight back that was desperately needed). The entire staff was always gracious and helpful. The common facilities always kept clean and nice. The last months she was there, it was an incredible blessing to have access to the onsite caregiver groups.

As a new resident I am very pleased with the help and concern that Managers Jamie and Wendy have given me. They have made the transition to a new home as easy as possible. They address all of my concerns and needs that occur as one moves into a new residence very quickly and friendly. The assistant managers Bassey and Nadia have been equally as helpful and kind. Under the guidance of Jamie and Wendy the entire staff has been very welcoming and helpful. As my friends make new living choices, I will gladly recommend Maple Ridge based on my initial experience.

Had to share this amazing story. My mother has been at Maple Ridge going on 5 years now. It has been a long and struggling road but when we moved in we had the best manager. Well as always they retire and we ended up with several that did not compare till Wendy and Jamie came this year. Since they have taken over the place all the things that were lacking in maintenance and condition of the property has been moving forward in such a positive way. Activities are so wonderful, they have more now then they have in a long time. Not one of the other managers were willing to help and now Wendy and Jamie spend time helping and aiding everyone. We loss several of our friends due to the previous management which was hard on the residents. I have been spending lots of time there this last 2 weeks and I see Jamie and Wendy both talking with residents and making sure they are happy and taken care of, I didn't see any of that for the last 2 years. So needing a place for mom and dad, come visit and judge for yourself. Wendy and Jamie will be there for you.

My mom has only been here for one week so we're not yet qualified to rate the facility as a whole yet. However, I've been very impressed with Nicko (the marketing contact) and Brandi Hays (who owns a separate company that provides caregivers at Maple Ridge for an additional cost). Nicko and I had MANY conversations before I felt comfortable moving my mom in. I had a lot of questions. Once the contract was signed Nicko and Brandi worked together to help make the move as easy as possible. Nicko communicated my mother’s various needs to Brandi and Brandi did an AMAZING job setting up the apartment before my mom even moved in. I was shocked by how much she was able to help us. My mother is adjusting to a new environment which can be really hard, especially for an older person in a wheelchair who can mostly live independently but still has some care needs. She's not always 100% patient when she’s feeling anxious. I'm encouraged that Brandi and her team do not take it personally. I have shared ideas of sample schedules for medication dispersal and exercise/walks and Brandi's team has easily adapted. I truly appreciate them. It’s been a wonderful transition. As a HUGE extra bonus, my mom likes the food here much better than at her last community. Kudos to the chef and their team. One thing that could be modified to make onboarding easier is if Maple Ridge would provide a single folder with all of their forms from the getgo. They do provide a folder with meal times and other documents but we’ve needed to put in special requests for a mailbox key, a form for giving Brandi’s team their own set of keys to help with activities of daily living, and an autodraft form so rent can be paid automatically. Or, instead of a folder, they could create a resident section on their website with links to these forms so everything is in one spot and easily accessible. The maintenance team responded rapidly to a request to install a grab bar near the toilet. They had it done within a day or two of requesting it. We are still waiting for assistance in lowering a clothing rack in the closet so my mom can reach her clothes and moving emergency pull cords to different areas in the apartment but I know it’s a big building with a lot of units so we will be patient. Kudos to the manager Kimberly for helping me get a rollaway bed so I could spend the night with my mom during her first night in the apartment. It was very helpful not to have to bring my own air mattress! I will update this review in the coming months once my mom is more settled in. I know how hard it is to move a loved one to a new community. Honest reviews are so important. I wish you luck as you search for a new home for either yourself or your loved ones.

I've also attended activities with my brother. And, when my brother needed medical attention, management was always right there and knowing what to do. I'm so glad he is there. He is in good hands. We are so thankful that our dad lives at Maple Ridge! I cannot say enough positive things about the management and staff. The selection of apartments and layout plans are amazing and suited to fit a various of living arrangements. Our dad trusted us to check out options for him to live. After the passing of our mother it was probably more difficult for us than him to move from a home of 50years. The management was not only sympathetic and understanding of dad's major change late in life but they made him feel right at home from the initial meeting. I could write a book about how good our dad is doing and all the friends he has made. If you are reading this because you may be in a similar situation I have listed below the items our family was most concerned about where dad would live and how Maple Ridge fulfilled them. 1) Safety - 24/7 several management teams live on premises and watch over the residents with love and compassion. 2) Food - the Chef and kitchen staff are extremely friendly and respectful as well as preparing and serving wonderful meals and special requests. 3) Living accommodations - it would be difficult to find a more attractive and comfortable living plans for various needs and wants 4) Activities - the activities team are nothing short of amazing. My dad has become engaged in so many activities from arts & crafts to gardening. There is a well maintained walking trail, transportation to local stores, trips to the country, doctor if necessary and eateries before COVID.... 5) Residents - my dad has made many new friends and they are one big family. The first Thanksgiving after dad moved in he asked us if it would be "okay" for him to stay there with the Maple Ridge family! Of course we said yes and we live 20min away! That said a lot to us on how dad feels about living at Maple Ridge. There are so many other instances, situations where the staff of Maple Ridge has made my dad happy and us (his children) feel thankful that dad lives there. We have enjoyed meeting all the friends he has made and before COVID being able to dine with him. Again, if you are considering a place for either yourself or a family member(s), I highly and confidently suggest Maple Ridge. Les H

I want to take this opportunity to sing amazing praises to this beautiful new community in Williamson County! I am in the health care field and visit many senior communities on a regular basis. Maple Ridge is not your normal independent living... by a long shot! There is a beautiful mix of residents here with many younger and able and they are ALL so very HAPPY! It is absolutely beautiful the family that has cultivated in the short time they have opened. And it’s wont be short lived... this company has it down and knows how to run a community perfectly! From the genuinely caring teams of managers that live on site to all the staff members and residents, everyone is all so happy! They truly are FAMILY! I have witnessed many residents move in and improve their quality of life because they want to enjoy all this beautiful community has to offer! Dances (on their HUGE dance floor) gardening (in their raised gardening beds), activities, cooking and exercise classes, beautiful theater, outings galore, food (oh my, the FOOD... unbelievably delicious and farm to table fresh!). If you are considering a new home for yourself or your loved one, don’t hesitate to visit Maple Ridge... you too will not be disappointed!
