Placed a call for an appointment and was greated by a Mrs.Jacob. She was very professional and helpful. She set an appointment with me and my grandfather. Mrs.Jacob met with us. She was friendly outgoing and very informative. She gave us a tour, explained in detail about the advantages of the senior living facility. My grandfather and I loved it. The place was clean, smelled good and staff was professional. We will for sure be in touch and would refer this senior living building as well as give it a 5 star. Thank you to Mrs. Jacob and her staff.

Every single staff member no matter job title must love the elderly. They would stop what they are doing to have a conversation anytime they were approached by residents. I observed this on many occasions. My family member was only here a short time but I’m their number one fan and highly recommend them.

Took a tour of the community and Haley went above and beyond to make sure all of our questions were answered, she was super sweet to my grandmother, extremely friendly and helpful! I will definitely be recommending the community to other friends base off the professionalism!

My mother was a resident at Elmcroft May 2021 to June 2021. She came from her home out of town for what was originally a two week visit, but decided to extend her stay after the two weeks. She required 24-7 skilled nursing care due to a terminal illness and was on a number of medications that had to be given throughout the day and night. Whitley and her staff were very pleasant to work with. I felt they genuinely cared about my Mom, and they were always willing to listen to any concerns I had and answer any questions. My Mom never wanted to leave her home, but the care she received at Elmcroft was enough to cause her to change her mind. She only got to stay four weeks before she passed. The Elmcroft staff was incredibly kind and accommodating to our family when Moms health declined and she passed. Im grateful for all they did to allow us to have Mom here for that time.

My Mother moved in 2 months ago, in the middle of the virus. Elmcroft has provided such good care and even though I cant visit, they are making sure she is staying well. I am anxious to have things back to normal but in the meantime, I know she is being well taken care of. The staff and nurse are exceptional and always stay in touch with me.

My family has developed quite a history with Elmcroft- all of it extremely positive. My dad was admitted in February 2019 to their memory care unit and we were immediately embraced by their caring staff.Ashley, the memory care supervisor was beyond professional and caring. At every turn, they took superb care of him and kept him occupied with activities geared for his capacity level. I think it takes a special calling to work with dementia patients, and Ashley and her team exceeded every expectation.In April, the nursing staffs diligence caught the fact that Dads blood oxygen level was dropping and had him transported to the Emergency room. He remained there until his passing in May. But the Elmcroft staffs alertness gave us several weeks with him that we would not have had otherwise, and we are all extremely grateful.But then, in August it was time to admit my mother and Elmcroft of Bedford was our only choice. Mom had resisted this move for years, but when she finally agreed, the folks at Elmcroft made the whole process very easy.Within a short time, my very reluctant mother was making friends, actively engaging in all the activities and just having lots of fun. Each month, she pours over the activity calendar to see what is coming up and she checks off which ones she is interested in.My mother is a very physically disabled stroke victim who requires help dressing and using the bathroom. But the caregivers treat her like they would their own mother or grandmother. I am just amazed at the kindness this staff shows to her and to the other residents.It takes a very special kind of person to do this job, and I am certain they are not in this role to make the big bucks. I cannot say a single negative thing about any one of the caregivers.Even the maintenance guys are incredible. Adam is really a super guy who recently helped my mom in and out of our car several times when I had to take her to doctor appointments (I was experiencing a lot of back problems and his help was a life saver). I keep asking Jill, the director, where she finds these wonderful people.I am so incredibly grateful for the dignity that was given to my father with his dementia and my mother with her physical disabilities. Elmcroft is proof that there is still kindness in this world, because I see it in action every day.

This place is absolutely amazing. My mom lived here for only 3 months before she passed away. The staff here is incredible we could not have asked for a better place for my mom to spend her last 3 months on this earth. We thought she would have been here a lot longer but even in the short amount of time the staff had bonded with her so much that I think they cried harder than we did when she died. They take such good care of there residents especially on the memory care side. They pay special attention to their needs and make sure they are treated with dignity, grace and respect. This place is very careful about who they put in their facility and they make sure they are a good fit with the other residents. While my mom was on critical care with Hospice the staff at Elmscroft would check on us frequently throughout the day providing us with any help we needed. Which they didn't have to do cause there was a 24 hour care nurse there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is thinking about taking there loved ones here.

A very nice facility. The staff seems to genuinely care about the residents and they make every effort to help the residents feel like this is their home. The residents were engaged in activities and the staff interacted frequently with them.

Good facility for my elderly Mother. The caregivers are friendly and courteous. The food is not great and food selections need improvement. Overall, my Mother has adjusted well and seems happy.
