I had the pleasure of touring Ledgestone with Priscilla, the Sales Director, and I wanted to take a moment to leave a review. From the very beginning, she was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. She made me feel heard throughout the entire process, and no question or concern ever felt too small. During such an emotional and difficult transition for my family, her patience, compassion, and guidance meant so much to us. The community itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a warm, inviting atmosphere. After touring, I truly believe it would be a wonderful place for my parents. If you’re searching for senior living for a loved one, I highly recommend reaching out to Priscilla. She genuinely cares about the families she serves and makes what can be an overwhelming process feel much more manageable.

I moved Dad to Ledgestone assisted living in Oct. 2025. Things were good for months, although there was significant turnover. The executive director left and a new wellness director was hired. That's when the chaos began. As dad declined he started not wanting to go to meals. Instead of encouraging him to go, he received "meals" in his room - cold pizza or a burger in styrofoam. No drink, no salad, no veggies, no dessert. He was charged an additional delivery fee for every one of meals, whether he asked for it or not. I frequently found several of these meals in his room, many on the counter at room temperature. I tried in vain to have this stopped. I made numerous attempts to reach Civitas corporate via voicemail and email. I NEVER received a response. I once had a VP (Sandra LeBlanc) answer the phone. She promised to look into my concerns and get back with me, but I never got a response. I started getting calls saying that dad was aggressive and needed to be medicated. I moved dad into Ledgestone memory care because they would be better equipped to deal with him there, but things just got worse. The staff was so poorly trained. When I would call the caregivers had no idea what had happened with the previous shift. I never got clear answers about his medication. His doctor and I both became suspicious that he was being over-medicated as he became non-communicative and slumped over in his chair, but he was still being labelled "aggressive". I finally made the decision to move dad and gave a 30-day notice. During that time dad hit a caregiver who was restraining him (he's 95 btw) Ledgestone demanded that I hire a full-time "babysitter" for him. Although this demand came from VP LeBlanc, she still wouldn't return my phone calls and - instead - just sent a highlighted copy of my agreement. I refused to hire additional help and moved Dad immediately. Here's the real shocker: The day after I moved Dad to Legacy at Western Oaks I visited him. He was like a new man! Much more alert. He was talking non-stop. Instead of being slumped over in his chair he was actually taking "walks" (in his wheelchair) around the facility on his own initiative. He has never once had a problem with being aggressive with the staff. I am so glad that I got him out when I did! There are (or were) some really good people at Ledgestone. But during Dad's final month there most were leaving - employees and residents. I don't think things can improve without big changes at the corporate level.

I recently helped my 86-year-old mother move to Ledgestone from her home in Kentucky. The entire staff and so many of the residents here have been super friendly and welcoming in helping her to get accustomed to her new home. Katy Starr in particular really went above and beyond, from the initial contacts and two tours and in regularly following up with us during the multi-month process to getting this done. Mom and I are both really looking forward to seeing how things develop as she starts making new friends and participating in the many activities and reaping the benefits of being part of a community - something she hadn't had much of in quite some time in her previous home.

I have treated dozens of Ledgestone residents over the years. The thing they had in common was that they loved the community. They would talk about going on adventures and their besties, it was darling. Yes it’s absolutely beautiful and the views of the Texas hill country are breathtaking, yes the food is delicious (I hope someone invites me for lunch soon). What makes this place feel special are the residents. Also, touring with Laura and Katy is both fun and informative.

My Brother and I took my Mom there for a tour for Independent Living. The place is very welcoming, clean and organized. Very nice decor and atmosphere. Some of the people we met there were very nice and friendly. Big one bedroom Apts. Lots of activities on the board. We met Kati there who showed us around. She was very welcoming. We also had lunch there which was excellent.

It feels like a miracle that we found Ledgestone! Finding a place that so perfectly meets the needs of each of my parents has truly transformed our lives. Mom can be in the independent living unit where she has found a vibrant community, new friends, and lots of fun activities. She has regained her confidence now that she has everything she needs all in one place. Furthermore, the space is welcoming, cozy, and beautiful with a delicious restaurant on the fourth floor overlooking the hill country! Dad is also well cared for in the assisted living facility right next door. The staff is energetic, attentive, and kind. Dad instantly felt at home. Their assistance in meeting his changing needs has also been extraordinary. When we realized he needed more supervision and support, they helped us get him moved into memory care within the week. It has been amazing to know he is surrounded by caring people who make him feel special. Growing up I thought of nursing homes as sad places where people went when they were waiting to die. Ledgestone has shone me a completely different possibility where seniors go to live their best life! They staff make each day fun, creative, and joy filled. We feel very blessed to be a part of this remarkable community!

My parents moved into this independent living community and it has been an amazing experience. They were welcomed by staff and residents, who are so friendly. The community is very warm and they are in conversations with new friends daily. There is an incredibly diverse and full calendar of events each week they can participate in and weekly cleaning is the cherry on top! I am so grateful to have found such a fantastic place for them where they can socialize and have fun in a beautiful environment that feels like vacation.

I have been visiting the residents at Ledgestone, both AL and IL, consistently for about 3 years now. From the close relationships I've built with both the residents and staff, I have no doubt that Ledgestone is THE PLACE to bring your loved ones. Every single resident I've talked to has expressed nothing but joy and security about this community. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The place is always clean, people are always friendly and smiling, and y'all, the service and care is amazing! I can not recommend this place enough.

Our family just celebrated the 1 - year anniversary of my 89 year old Mom, moving to Ledgestone Assisted Living. I can't say enough great things about Ledgestone. The staff is exceptional. The care, concern and responsiveness of the entire staff is off the charts. Casey, the ED and, Claudia, the MD are the heartbeat of this facility - both are professional, competent, responsive, caring, and exactly the type of folks you want taking care of your loved one. The facility is immaculate. The maintenance staff - extremely responsive. The food selection is wonderful and consistent. The activities are varied and engaging. We should call the new management at The Ledgestone, The Dream Team. Casey, Katy, Laura, Claudia, and Michelle have completely turned this place around. The vibe is Awesome. I’m the owner of Amada Senior Care and we are in a lot senior communities and The Ledgestone is right there at the top of the pack. As soon as you walk in you will notice the energy is just different. The residents are very happy because of all the activities. I’ve been living at Ledgestone Independent Living for a year and half. I have made more friends at Ledgestone than in all of my life! It really feels like a family. Everyone looks out for each other. The best thing you can do for your children is to be happy, and I have found that at this community.

After having to wait 30 plus minutes Vincent gladly helped us. Darien was very helpful, the food was great, thank you to the chiefs that prepared the dinner. Deven was excellent in making sure drinks were taken and served. All in all it was an excellent pop up dinner.

My sister basically spent six months at this facility. I cannot speak highly enough of their assisted living facility or the staff. Kind, professional, and CARING. It was like being alongside family. My sister ended up loving all of her aids and many of the residents. This facility I would highly recommend to anyone. Staff recognized what a huge transition this was for my sister and went out of their way to make her secure and comfortable. I will always be forever grateful to all of the staff. To me, they were like Angels, helping her in every way. It truly is a village of caring and professional people. To all at Ledgestone, I thank you so very much for everything.

We have had our 91yr old Dad at Ledgestone Assisted Living since Sept 2021. After the initial few months of resisting his new residence, he has become comfortable with his apartment, has made some friends, eats most meals in the community dining room & enjoys many of the social activities that Michelle organizes, which are plenty, Staff is very friendly & attentive. We’ve had a couple of hiccups with Dad’s swollen feet and weight loss, due mainly as a result of not leaving his room & forgetting to eat the meals that are brought to him. The issues were quickly addressed and Mendi, the nurse, stephanie, & Stella were quick to respond. Other staff like Chris has been super at noticing his general state on a regular basis. Mary has been very helpful at the front desk. These are the employees that have been there for some time so I’m familiar with them. There are others too that are always very kind. I will note there’s a frequent turnover but I imagine it’s common in this industry. Ledgestone was a great choice for us as we live across the street. It’s a clean facility too.

My Mother is in the Memory Care facility at Ledgestone. I moved her there several months ago after being at another facility for several years. She is happier than I have seen her in years. The staff is great and the management is very responsive. The facility is beautiful and extremely clean. Wonderful place!

Ledgestone is one of the best senior living communities I have ever been to. Alec and Stacey are just phenomenal and so friendly. I’m so glad I moved my dad into ledgestone. They have beautiful amenities and there is this concierge service that they offer from a 3rd party called Choice Plus Care, they are helping by keeping my dad in his independent living apartment until he needs assisted living. I couldn’t be happier with everyone there.

Yesterday Ledgestone Assisted Living had a fall festival for the residents and their families. I was so impressed by the party: decorations, games(balloons and darts, ring toss, bowling, cake walk), pizza for all, photo ops. The staff were fun, silly, kind,... it was great!

They were so friendly, professional, and eager to work with small local businesses... all with the intention to expand and improve their range of services for residents and their families. My mother has lived at Ledgestone for 4 years, and for the most part, has had a great experience. A new director, Valerie, started in February, right before Snowpocalypse 2021 began, and she has been fantastic. Not only did she navigate the weather crisis like a pro, but she is now working hard to address resident concerns and make tons of positive changes in the building. We’re hopeful that things are going to go from great to amazing! So thankful for this community right across the street from our neighborhood. It is so nice to have my mother living in a safe and beautiful building, 3 minutes away from me. ™

Ledgestone has been a God send for our family and my mother. My mom is in their memory care area. Prior to coming to Ledgestone, my mom was being left in a room alone and was dying at a different nursing facility. We brought her to Ledgestone, and it was completely opposite. She is out all day participating with activities and is HAPPY. The staff are so sweet and caring. My mom constantly tells me how good they are to her. She likes the food and has gained some weight. I cannot say enough positive things about Ledgestone. We are so blessed to have found them.

Our parents lived in a big house out in the country, and had been using home caregivers for 12-hour daytime care. Their declining health and their isolation, prompted us to seek out a different, better care situation for them, where they could continue to be together. We visited 5 assisted living communities that also had memory care units, and Ledgestone Assisted Living Community definitely surpassed them all!!! We were wowed when we first walked in the door by their beautiful open dining room, common living areas, and fully stocked bistro. We were further impressed when touring their spacious one bedroom apartments (perfect for our parents), their activity room and hair salon. We loved the calendar full of fun, varied activities, and learning about the availability of an in-house nurse practitioner and lab. We brought our mom for lunch and a tour. Although she said it was all very nice, she and our dad did NOT want to leave their home. However, with the amazing assistance of Marcia Lang, the Community Relationships Director, in a week’s time we had our parents moved in with their own familiar furniture surrounding them. After just two days of the delicious meals, and the lovely, conscientious caregivers and med techs, both our parents told us they loved their apartment and would be just fine there. My sister and I left that evening with happy tears and a huge sense of relief, knowing our parents were happy and well cared for. We are so grateful to the genuinely caring,competent staff at Ledgestone for helping them create a new home and a loving extended family.

I want to thank the management staff, especially Kim Terracina, and the caregivers for our mother's care at Ledgestone Memory Care unit. While the family had other options available in the area, we knew we made the best decision by placing her in Ledgestone's care. The difference between Ledgestone staff and the other facilities is that they care for the well-being of their residents.They treated our mother with respect and dignity which is difficult to find in senior living facilities.The Memory Care Activity Director, Gina Johnson, prepared daily activities geared to those with memory issues that were fun for the participants and also beneficial to their medical condition - I should know, I sat in on many activities with our mother and could see the difference. Ledgestone Assisted Living is about family. My father became a resident in assisted living and the care was outstanding. It was a very difficult time for him having lost his wife of 70 years just two months earlier and then finding himself unable to live independently. That’s a major life change for an 89 year old senior. Unfortunately his health has degraded, but Ledgestone made him a home in their memory care facility and he is thriving. Every aspect of Ledgestone has been outstanding. The caregivers, the medical staff, and the meals are excellent. It’s very difficult leaving the care of your parent in the hands of others, but when the new home is a family and not an institution it’s very comforting. They are five star all the way!

The staff is wonderful, kind, thoughtful and patient. The activities are fun and varied as well as the residents. I've made many new friends.
