Three months ago, my wife stuggled with the decision to place her elderly mother in assisted living. Her mother's resistance to the idea caused significant added stress to the decision. After researcing options in Murfreesboro, it was decided that the homey atmosphere, small footprint, and caring attitude of the staff were the qualities needed to win our business. We have been very happy with the decision. The facility is very well maintained and the staff is incredibly caring, friendly, and engaging. We feel like part of the family there - so much so, that we are relocating my mother from an out-of-state facility to Park View in a few days. I am confident of the safety and care my mother will receive.

Park View Meadows has a very "homey" atmosphere. Each resident is intentionally a family member from day 1. Each resident is provided with an opportunity to decide on a meal preference on a turn by turn basis. When you are not happy with the meal provided, there are other food options available. When you walk into a place and smell chocolate chip cookies, you KNOW you are at the right place!

This is a lovely small assisted living community (not one of those mega-ones) where the care is genuinely personal and people form friendships and relationships. I didn't realize the value of that when we were looking for a place for mom and dad. Definitely recommend taking a look here. Maybe it doesn't have a bowling alley and a swimming pool, but you'll see many smiles, which to me is what matters.

Afte my dad passed away things changed drastically for my mother. We tried several things to help her adjust but then we're told maybe an assisted living would help her adjust. In my opinion, Park View Meadows has been a God send answer for her. The staff has worked with us in helping my mom adjust with her medications and lifestyle. She sometimes talks about coming home but also says everyone treats her well and loves all the staff at Park View. The staff always greets me when I come to visit as if I'm part of their family. Thanks to everyone for making me and my family know my mom is in a safe happy environment.

The staff here is so friendly. They always greet you when you walk in. Also if you are there when it's time to eat, they offer you a plate to enjoy with your family member. They have activities for the residents (we like playing penny hopscotch) they go out to eat weekly and they have a garden in the back with rocking chairs on the patio. Rooms are spacious. Very pleasant place. They have made my grandmother feel at home.

I always tell my clients when they visit an assisted living for their first time. Form your opinion based on the personality of the environment and on its leadership. Marie Littrell has accomplished both and recently recognized by her company as the best! As a VA Advocate, I have assisted several Veterans and Surviving Spouses in obtaining VA Benefits so they can afford this homey environment. Great job Marie!!
