When my youngest sister needed home care, we interviewed many companies, but one company stood out, HoneyHill Home Care. What impressed me was the understanding from Mike about the care that was needed because he had first hand experience with his own family. We used them for 24-hour care for several months, while we were working on other alternatives. We ended up putting her in assisted living at Three Rivers at Creekside, but continued to use HoneyHill for transport and care to doctor appointments, shopping adventures, etc for over 18 months until she passed. They send good folks to your home. We used another company and we had no idea where they found these people to bring into my home. Any issues, a quick text and its fixed immediately. My caregivers including Lisa and Betty were very professional, friendly and perceptive. They always took initiative to make things easier for me. They started with me as caregivers and left as friends. My family was pleased with HoneyHill before I needed care. My mom was also a Honeyhill client. She had some dementia and needed help with personal grooming and exercises. Companion care was also helpful for her. Taylor was the perfect fit. In the past, HoneyHill HomeCare has stepped in when help was most needed with regard to helping provide care for my aged parents. Most recently, after the death of my 98 year old dad in May, HH came to my (and my mom's) rescue and provided round the clock sitters for my 96 year old mom ("Peggy" Newman) after a fall which rendered her bedridden for a 3 week rehab stay. Needless to say, the entire office staff was most accommodating each and every time I had to make a change in a schedule or ask a question. However, most importantly, each and every sitter that I met, and I met them all and spent hours sitting by their sides with my mom during those three weeks, all had one thing in common - a kind and gentle heart! Everyone I dealt with at HoneyHill was very caring and helpful. Mike Cutter, the owner, came personally and talked with my Mother before we started having a caregiver come and Mom thought he helped match her up with the perfect caregiver from the very beginning. We had several come over the period of time we used HoneyHill and all of the caregivers were great. One of her favorites even visited Mom after Mom fell and broke her leg on a day we didn't have HoneyHill providing care. She visited her while she was in the hospital, while she was in rehab, and after moving to assisted living. I have seen the same level of love and care with the HoneyHill caregivers working with the family across the street from us. When we needed 24x7 care, HoneyHill came through on short notice and provided consistent, great care for Mom. We ultimately had to move other assisted living as a more cost-effective form of care but I wish we could have afforded to keep her with HoneyHill as their care was more personable and engaging than assisted living has proven to be. I am happy to say that we have enjoyed their care for over four years. They have been on time, polite, cheerful, and professional in every way. We have used Honey Hill twice in the last year - first to help with my Dad as he was dying of cancer and to help my mom as she recovered from 3 procedures with hospitalization and rehab. They were very caring and conscientious. Our aid Tanya was exceptional. She did laundry, washed windows, assisted with meal prep, walked outside with mom, brought her gifts, and even researched how to make a slip-on bandage for her foot. They actually care! This is very hard to find with caregiving companies nowadays. To most caregiving companies they don’t care about their caregivers or their clients for that matter. Honey Hill is very different when it comes to both. They care about their clients and caregivers. You can reach Becca and Mike at any time as a caregiver if you have concerns or complaints. They make sure that they think of every detail. If you have a new client they send you details so you’re not going in blindsided. They even meet with you to introduce you to the new clients! I haven’t had any other caregiving company do that before. They’re extremely organized, kind, and efficient! They handle their business and make sure you’re taken care of as well. I couldn’t say enough good things about this company. If you are looking for a place where your loved ones will be taken care of I recommend Honey Hill 1,000 times over. I love and respect these people so much and I wouldn’t trade my experience here for anything!
