This has been a godsend. They have lots of activities throughout the day. They also offer day trips several times a week. There are trips for those with milder dementia and different trips for those with greater mobility issues who may not be able to get off the bus as easily. It’s misleading when you tour the facility because you may see some residents who look quite advanced in cognitive decline- but they are out there to help stimulate them instead just sitting in their room all day. The higher functioning residents may be in their room and then come out for activities later. Just go on their Facebook page to see pictures of all the activities they get to do. Since it is one building, there seems to be a good amount of varied staff throughout the day.

My mom has been a resident at Clover Hill Senior Living for over 4-and-a-half years. While no institution is perfect, Clover Hill and the staff there, at every level, has met or exceeded my expectations. I am so grateful for their ministry to our family, and the many others they serve.

My mother was at Clover Hill for about 5 weeks. Clover Hill is primarily a memory care facility, with dementia patients housed and socialized in the same areas as non-dementia patients. This can be distressing for residents when the dementia patients are crying and, or yelling. My mother, who did not have dementia, commented that she felt so sad for those poor patients that she couldnt do anything to help. I think this is a poor model for care, as it is hard enough for elderly residents to move from their homes without having to move into a stressful environment. Most of the time when calling the facility we got voicemail, which was frustrating. There was an inexcusable medication lapse (thankfully caught by my mother) causing Mom to miss a daily eye medication for about 3 weeks. This unfortunately resulted in worsening of her glaucoma, further sensitivity to light and additional loss of vision. When the manager tried to help Mom meet other non-dementia residents (which was commendable), he didnt understand that with her worsening glaucoma, she couldnt tolerate the light near the window in the dining room. This was reported to me as she doesnt want to sit with certain people or she refuses to sit anywhere else. This made no sense to me because my Mom was easy-going, and friendly to everyone - I later realized what was going on with her extreme sensitivity to light. On the positive side, Mom reported that the nursing staff were kind and attentive and we were happy with the nurse practitioner who made weekly visits. The activities director went out of her way to help my mother connect with my special needs brother. Overall, although we experienced some positives, I would not recommend Clover Hill for people who do not have dementia.

I want to personally thank Clover Hill Senior Living in Maryville, TN for the absolutely incredible care they have provided my grandmother. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance on October 3, 2020. She couldnt even sit up on her own that night.She went to Clover Hill on 11, 17, 2020. At that time, she was still unable to walk from the dining room to her room. However, the superb care and therapy she has been receiving in her two months at Clover Hill has been phenomenal! We had a window visit with her today, and she stood, straight up, for over 20 minutes to talk to us! Twenty minutes!! She told us that she is having a ball! She is an entirely different woman than the one that spent the last 3 years of her life sitting in a chair, looking out the window. She is finally thriving, and we are so, so thankful.

This place is a 10 star facility. ALL staff members do way more than they are required. I will be forever grateful for the love and care you guys provide for my father. The good lord above led us here for a reason, I didnt know why at the time but I do now.

Nice looking place. Fairly new. Sat in lobby waiting on a friend who was there to play music. Since music has been shown to be therapeutic for the elderly then thats a feather in their cap. I have no knowledge of care or details of facility. Will report back as I learn.

Our girls visited there with their American Heritage Girls troop to visit with the senior residents. It was clean and modern. The staff were sweet to the girls and the seniors were cheerful and seems to be enjoying life.

From the time we moved our mother into Clover Hill the appearance which was extremely clean and professionalism of the staff has made me feel comfortable, and a since of relief went moms care. I would highly recommend this phisality to anyone looking for care for there loved ones.

My mother-in-law moved here in March of this year and the change in her has been great! She is engaging and participating in more activities. The staff is wonderful....it is such a uplifting environment. All of the staff participate in the activities and everyone is encouraging and genuinely happy.
