My mom has lived at Brookdale Sandy Springs for about 3 years. She has received great care. Her room is so homey and has everything she needs. She's safe and has friends to hang out with. The staff is awesome. They manage her medications, assist with bathing and dressing. They really care about their residents. My father was also there prior to passing and he received excellent care in the memory care side. I highly recommend this facility.

Well-maintained, well-appointed facility with many caring staff members who go above and beyond to try and care for the residents, which is a feat considering the last two years of Covid protocols and hardships. My mother who has Alzheimer’s has been a resident for four years now and is still living on the Assisted Living side of the facilty. Kudos to the nursing staff who oversee the daily meds and health needs of so many folks under one roof! Knowing that there is at least one nurse on-site 24-hours and not just on call overnight helps ease the worry for us. The Sandy Springs’ location also has a Dementia Care side, so when mom’s care needs increase, the lateral move inside the facility will mean mom will still see so many of the same care staff as well as have the same management-level folks overseeing her care. Such familiarity, and not a whole new set of faces appearing suddenly for her or new staff having to learn from scratch all about mom, her care, idiosyncrasies, etc., I believe will make this transition easier on both Mom and our family. The social interaction and activities provided at Brookdale, in my opinion, have slowed my mother’s inevitable decline from Alzheimer’s very, very much. Having meals in the dining room with such attentive staff to her dietary needs as well as the good company and laughter with fellow residents at the table is tremendously positive for her. The activities scheduled weekly give mom such choices to have some fun and be just as busy as she wants to be. Mom loves the weekly music events with singers/musicians coming in to perform in the living room, and she also likes hanging out in the living room with fellow residents chatting. Some of the other activities provided include: popcorn and a movie in the TV room; various things like exercise classes, arts and crafts, games, or parties in the activity room; and outings on the Brookdale minibus like scenic drives to Cades Cove or the Foothill’s Parkway, out to eat at a restaurant or picnicking, visiting the Townsend winery, and even just “joyrides” to look at flowers blooming or holiday decorations. While it’s never easy finding a place for a family member, I do have trust in the Brookdale Sandy Springs staff to keep my mother safe and as healthy as possible and also provide far more social activity than we could provide on our own.

Very great place to work, I would recommend this place for a job any time, only thing is if you quit without notice you can't apply ever again, I believe if it's been a while since you quit you should be able have 2nd chance

They worked with me in an attempt to secure a room for my father at the age of 106. Just before his admission, his health went down hill to the point he was nolonger a candidate for assisted living. I was truly impressed with with every aspect of that organization

We moved my sister from an independent living facility in November 2022. Brookdale staff worked with us to make the move as smoothly as possible. Sharon King was especially helpful in the move by coming in on her day off for access to the apartment and insuring all apartment updates had been completed. During my sister's stay she declined in health but Brookdale staff increased their care and concern for her. The nurses, cleaning people, maintenance workers and care staff were exceptional in their care for her. My sister passed away in February 2023. During her last days Sharon King almost became a part of the family visiting her and encouraging the family members. Thank you Brookdale for your concern and care of my sister.

I just wanted to say thank you for the care that my family member is receiving as a resident here and to take a moment to acknowledge the caring staff. It is a difficult time we are all experiencing through out our country right now and it is very hard not being able to see and hug our loved ones. I enjoy being able to do window visits with my grandmother and Facetime video calls . I know the staff is working hard to keep their spirits uplifted and their safety is a priority . The staff has been very helpful and caring . I couldnt ask for a better place for my grandmother to be , thank you for all that you do.

Just came to TCs grill where 2 staff members of the assisted living facility were eating with a group of elderly people; many of whom seemed to be struggling with dementia. One of the nurses was so kind and patient with the older folks and made me feel as though I would be comfortable enough to leave my own grandmother with her. Wish I had gotten her name, but she is a great representative of the Brookdale Sandy Springs community.

I visited this assisted living with a friend who has a relative there. It was very clean and the staff was very nice. Several residents were sitting in the hall at a spot they call their porch. That is where we found my friends relative. They were sharing candy and having a nice visit. I will be looking soon for my grandma and I think she would love this place.

I have a family member who currently lives in the facility and we could not ask for better care for her! The entire staff goes above and beyond for her everyday. We are truly thankful to the staff members for taking such great care of her and us when we are with her! My husband's grandfather lived in the memory care and the staff were wonderful. When he started to decline, Lisa and Amy were so caring and supportive in his final days. We we're so thankful he could pass peacefully there with hospice. We are forever greatful for the love they expressed to our whole family. I highly recommend to anyone seeking caring people to take care of your loved ones.

I deal with the geriatric population for a living and this community is one of the best I have ever seen. The staff is polite and courteous and always acknowledge my presence. The residents are always happy and look well cared for. The activities are phenomenal with great participation. Management always go above and beyond to make sure the resident's needs are met and their concerns are addressed immediately. I would highly recommend this community!

I have stayed here as a respite many times. The staff is helpful and caring. The community is clean and welcoming. Everyone always greets me and are genuinely happy to see me! The overall comradery of everyone here is a testament to the great leadership of the Executive Director, Amy May. I love staying here and will continue to go back. I recommend it to everyone!

I recently took on the job of house keeping and find the RCA'S and all staff members friendly and helpful. I have seen some come and go as with any fast based job you will find the ones who don't stay long are the ones who don't care or have pride in what their job is. Some think they can just show up and get a pay check, but I know there are some people out there who need a job and would be worth training for many of our openings.
