I have been working as the Community Relations Director at American House Halls since April 2021 - it was previously named Elmcroft of Halls. This community has had such a big impact on my heart. I have had to sit with families as they make one of the toughest decisions of their life and I never take that lightly. The biggest part of my job is navigating those feelings and showing families what makes my community so special. Our activities schedule is packed with so many fun and interesting things to do without just being the same standard Bingo game everyday. We host family nights for the residents and their families to interact with the team members. This community is so special and the amount of caregivers who have been here for over 3+ years is amazing. The field of caregiving comes with massive amounts of turnover, but the resident assistants who work here actually love the work that they do and it makes a huge difference. The building is newly renovated and truly feels like home.

Our loved one , JoAnn , has lived here for a year and a half . We have been extremely pleased with the care provided. We chose American House because it was close to home , but we continue to keep her there because of the quality of care .

I have a family member who has been a resident for over two years. The staff members are very good with the residents and the facility is very clean. There are always activities available daily and there are occasionally family nights where family members are invited to join the residents for food and entertainment. My mother loves the food.. its very good quality and prepared fresh each meal. Theres also a good variety of food for the residents to choose from. I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe and caring environment for their family member in need of assisted living.

My grandfather currently resides in the Assisted Living side of Elmcroft of Halls. He enjoys tending to the garden and helping to grow fruits and veggies. We are extremely pleased with the care and cleanliness of this community. The staff has become like family to us. We would highly recommend visiting this wonderful facility.
