This is a relatively small facility (about 20 or so residents) so all the staff know my loved one's name, and she knows theirs. Communication to families is positive and ongoing, and I feel like I can always call if I have a concern or question. The administrator and director of nursing are very available and patient in explaining processes and offering insight into my loved one's situation. It would be helpful if there were always at least two aides available on each shift -- on some shifts there's just one person to serve all the residents -- but the facility has recently made some new hires and increased staffing, which I appreciate. My point-of-view is limited in that I have never had a loved one at a similar facility, other than short stints at skilled-nursing facilities, which are a whole different category of facility. But based on my tours of other assisted-living and continuing-care facilities, all of which were larger and felt more institutional, I feel my loved ones made a wise choice for their needs.

My mom transitioned to Alexandria Place following months of rehabilitation following back surgery. She needed a great deal of care and the staff stepped right in to take great care of her while taking into consideration her background and interests. My family and I saw quickly that we did not have to worry about any aspect of her well-being. I would definitely recommend the facility for any aging parent who requires care that the family cannot provide.

We would give Alexandria Place 10 stars if we could. They are a wonderful senior community. The facility is clean and with a welcoming atmosphere. Staff are amazing. They truly care about and show much respect to the residents. There are variety of activities going on throughout the week for entertainment like bingo and such, to keep the residents engaged and happy. Everyone looks like a big happy family. The staff are caring for the residents very well. We are very happy with Alexandria Place. We would definitely and strongly recommend Alexandria Place if you are looking for an assisted living place for your loved ones.

What a true joy Alexandria Place is! Prior to moving in, I remember Jennifer coming to my home for a home visit. She cared about me and took her time getting to know my needs and worries- and my story! I knew then that Alexandria Place would be my future home. I've been here for a year now, and you can't find a better place- I've seen them all. My daughter lives in another state so Jennifer helped me get approved for Veteran's Aid and Attendance by taking me to all appointments and helping gather and sort through all paperwork. They have family and friends night where I can invite all of my friends to come! The food is delicious, and they have so many choices if I want something different. I have made so many friendships with the ones who live here and work here. This has become my home.

Alexandria Place is an incredible assisted living. I have never see a staff and administrator as dedicated and loving. One thing that appeals to me is that there are only 25 rooms. It is not a large community so residents never get lost in the crowd they become family.

This is a great Assisted Living facility for my father. With it being a smaller facility, the caregiving team can focus more on people getting to know the residents and their families. There is more of a personal touch and relationship with the residents. They get to know what each resident likes and try to make them as comfortable and happy as possible. They do a great job creating an Alexandria Place Family as they care for the residents.

Alexandria Place did a sensational job with the care and concern for my Mother in Law. The team was friendly and always encouraging her to try new activities and adventures. The activities with Jennifer and Lynn (especially when she broke out in song) were unique and entertaining. We are forever thankful for the great care and support that she received!

I am a PCA at Alexandria Place & am very happy there!! The residents are precious & the staff is amazing!! If your family member lives here, rest assured they are getting top-notch care!! The food is also delicious...we have some excellent dietary staff!! Best assisted living facility around!!!!

My parents lived at Alexandria Place for over a year. I can never express what a blessing that year was for our family. My parents were both 88 years old & I had never even taken them to the doctor. Then all of a sudden they started declining. I am their only living child & I am married & work full time. So it was an extremely stressful & scary time for me. And a sad time for them. They were across the street at the nursing home and the wonderful administrator, Jennifer came over & talked with us all & we chose to move them to Alexandria as soon as rehab ended. They loved her & all the wonderful staff at Alexandria. They became a second family for us all. I visited daily,as did other family & frieI highly recommend Alexandria for anyone looking for Assisted living. They have a Nurse there who is excellent & also daily activities & even go on some adventures in their big van. Alexandria is a great place to live & still enjoy life when you can't be alone. It is a blessing!
