My mom was at The Villages Skilled Nursing after a fall. I could not have picked a better place for her to recover. The staff was so kind, interactive, compassionate and HAPPY! My mom got very good care and therapy in a safe and clean environment. They had entertainment events weekly and they made sure she had a crossword puzzle every morning. The atmosphere is homey as well. We would often take my mom to the activity room or patio to play games and they have a supply of games, books and jigsaw puzzles for the use of patients and visitors. Even when I was being a nagging family member they would tell me 'you are advocating for your mother just like you should be.' If I could give more stars I would.

I have had the opportunity to work with the Village at Germantown team for several years. Every time I walk in the door I receive a friendly welcome from both the team members and the residents. The facility is beautiful and there are many activities for the residents. I definitely recommend the Village to my friends and family!

After a very extensive leg and foot reconstructive surgery, I was admitted to the Village Skilled Nursing Rehab. Due to the amount of Healing and Rehab necessary I was there for 60 days. The care that I received was absolutely amazing. The staff on the floor, PT and OT were very professional, courteous and caring for the needs of the people In their care. I knew of the different levels of care at the Village but didn't know about Rehab. This place is a hidden Gem right in the middle of Germantown. I highly recommend this place if you unfortunately have a need for their services .

I have lived in Germantown for 32 years. As part of my job, I had the opportunity to be in the facilities of The Village at Germantown and was impressed with the excellent communication among the staff and residents. I also appreciated the presence of medical assistance on site at all times, including a safety team. When our Dad died in 2020, we knew that our Mom living out of town from all her children wasn't good. We wanted Mom to continue her independence, but safely. We have been so happy and appreciative of the facility amenities, including the wonderful food and restaurant service. This excellent customer service also includes the helpful and friendly front desk greeting all, the housekeeping team and administration guidance.

I've been invited to play music for the residents of the Village multiple times, and each performance is filled with joy, laughter, and fun! It's truly heartwarming to see different groups of elders at this community sing along and engage with the music. I have had the opportunity to perform at various parties for the residents, and each event is organized with a coordinated effort. It is evident to me, as an entertainer, that a tremendous amount of dedication and effort goes into enhancing the lifestyle of the residents at the Village. I am impressed by the engagement and level of care that the caregivers provide in this community. My interactions with the residents have been positive, and I appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere at the Village. One resident even mentioned to me that with over 300 residents, the community feels like a small town, which I found endearing. Overall, I give the Village 5 stars for their commitment to fostering a vibrant and supportive environment for their residents. It is clear that the well-being of the residents is a top priority, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my music with such a happy and cared-for community.

I have lived at The Village for almost 11 years, and it is PERFECT! I feel BLESSED to have made WONDERFUL FRIENDS, and we are fed the BEST FOOD in all of Tennessee (we have 3 dining locations to eat from!). We are ENTERTAINED with Musicals, Outstanding Guest Speakers, movies, bus trips to MANY Places like Plays, Dining, and Museums. We have 24 hour security that takes awesome care of us and a housekeeping staff that takes all the stress off of me. Thank you to all the GREAT STAFF that SPOIL us beyond words. It is a Seniors Paradise!!

My mom and family were treated wonderful from the time we entered the door of the village. It is like home to my mom. All the staff from the CNA's, RN's, administration, Physical, Occupation, and speech therapists, and, and doctor were very skilled and caring. Every need my mom had was addressed immediately. The meals were yummy!! Thank you for caring for my mom while she was in skilled nursing. Also the facility is ver clean! Totally satisfied. Thank you, Debbie Mokry

My mother moved to the Villages of Germantown in January. The staff and neighbors have been especially helpful and welcoming. Her apartment is perfect, the food excellent and activities rewarding. She is happier than I've seen her in a few years. I love this community.

I had the opportunity to bring my precious Mom to The Village at Germantown for Skilled Nursing care after she broke her leg. I could not have been more pleased with her care and especially with the love shown to her by the staff. They went out of their way to find food she would eat and daily encouraged and loved on her. As her caregiver for years, it gave me great peace knowing she was so cared for and in such a loving manner. The facility was clean, fresh, and a delight for her and our family. I highly recommend The Village at Germantown for the care of your most cherished loved one.

My family has been very fond of the Village and their care for our father! He has been in nearly all the areas they provide which has made it really nice for transition. The activities are amazing!! They always include family if desired! The social work care is top notch as well and provides specific updates! We've also been very pleased with his recent speech therapy! The speech therapist is extremely skilled and identified his needs quickly! Thank you to the nursing staff who also take great care of our father! We thank you all very much!

I have been employed with the Village at Germantown going on 19yrs. My mom has utilized our skilled nursing and still talks about the excellent care she received from our staff. The Village has so many resident driven programs and events and very welcoming of new neighbors to share the fun times.

I've had a great experience working with the warm, welcoming and professional team at The Village. As soon as you walk through the doors you'll be treated like family. I have to say that my favorite resident may be Brody- He's always at the door to greet you when you arrive but may demand a belly rub! IYKYK!

My husband needed PT after a recent fall. The Village of Germantown exceeded our expectations. Everyone was caring, kind, and helpful. He got excellent care and schedules were followed. The food was delicious and the facility is very clean which made staying in a there much more tolerable. We especially appreciated the wound care nurses and those who handled his medicine. No one wants to be away from home, but our experience was very good and he was most comfortable while he healed.

It has been 11+ years since my parents moved to The Village. It was an experience beyond our every imagination! My father was MOST reluctant about moving and was furious that "they" did not know how to cut lemons: they were sliced, not quartered! As soon as The Village know of his issue, they changed how the lemons were cut! He enjoyed singing in the choir at church, so he reluctantly went to choir practice and was overwhelmed with the community and the joy in singing! Every time they performed, I was dutifully on the front row and he was proudly singing away! I thought my Mom had died and gone to Heaven! She enjoyed swimming, daily cards, exercise, vespers and community! She immediately ran to be on the Board and was diligent in her work to make The Village the best place for all to enjoy! Mom and Dad were originally in a Villa and hd community with all the Villa people! They would gather for dessert, games and croquet on a regular basis! We made the decision to move Mom and Dad to a two bedroom apartment as Mom's health was faltering and we wanted Dad to be fully situated. Man plans and God laughs as Dad died one day after they had moved! The Village stepped in to fully help in the move and to support all of us! Mom got fully adjusted and continue to flourish for 6+ more years! When she would go to the hospital, she would complain that the desserts were not placed on doilies as the Village does. Whatever Mom's capabilities were, The Village continued to provide her with entertainment and care. Yet, the greatest gift was all of the faculty and staff! They genuinely loved Mom and cared for her! If she needed chicken salad a certain way, they would provide it! Both of my parents have not died. I can honestly say: Their lives were better, enriched and lengthened because of The Village and their support! I can honestly say: I miss my Village people! They were generous in their love to not only our Mom and Dad, but also to all 7 of their children, 24 grands and 40 great grands now! I have laughed as I have thought: Mom genuinely believed that Heaven would not be as good as The Village, which is why she lived to be 95 3/4 years old. I hope she was not disappointed when she got there! In looking back on the decision we all made for them to move to The Village, I would do it in a New York second! I love working at The Village at Germantown! There is no coincidence in life. Everything happens for a reason, even the very challenging ones, and I believe it is my destiny to be here. I just celebrated my fourth year anniversary, and time flies when you're having fun, indeed! I started as a part-time employee, working every other weekend. But a very important person told me that I belong here, so I stayed, and they've opened doors of opportunities for me. It didn't happen overnight. It was a process, and most of all, I wasn't expecting anything. I was just enjoying my job, working hard while having fun. I am so grateful for my bosses for believing in me and trusting me to run a department. It is not easy, but when you love what you do and you're well supported by the administration, you wouldn't mind going the extra mile or even miles. I love all the residents from Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long Term Care, and the rehab. Like any other places, The Village is not perfect. We do experience challenges, but we work as a team with one goal in our minds and in our hearts, and that's to provide outstanding service and quality care for your loved ones. Their safety, satisfaction, and happiness are our utmost priority. I highly recommend this place both for working and a place for your loved ones to call home.

My mother has lived at The Village of Germantown for fourteen years, she started in one of the homes. After my stepdad passed away in 2011, she moved to the apartment, where she had a stroke September 2023. She went to skilled nursing for a few months, and is now living in Assisted Living. She has had a great experience at all facilities. Her CNA's have been specially caring, they are like family to us now. We are so grateful to know my mother is in a safe and caring environment.

I have worked at The Village at Germantown for 2 years and 5 months now. I cannot recommend this community enough as a place to work and I feel like it has been a great company to grow in! Everyone I work with loves their job and the residents are the best part of what I do. Overall, The Village feels like family!

I had a great experience at the Skill nursing facility. The staff and my Rehab team were the best. The only problem I had was I was put into an unclean room and the shower curtain was filthy and was told they couldn't replace it because they were out. But after speaking to the morning nurse about it and she looked at it, they apparently found one and it was replaced the next day and my room was cleaned also.

Wonderful assisted living / rehab facility. My grandmother is so surprisingly happy and healthy after her fall and surgery. The staff is wonderful! Nurses, nurse practitioner, PTs, CNAs, etc. Judy the activities director is an angel, and you can see the pure joy she gets from making this place as fun as possible. Jillian from marketing is so kind and helpful too. All the love to The Villages. Would want my friends and family here if needed.

Speaking as staff member for the village for the past 9 or so months. Independent Living is the best it ever has been, we have consistency with regular staff in all departments I could go on and on with all the improvements that have been made to a already smooth running machine. Healthcare/Rehab is a sore subject from what I have read. Healthcare/Rehab has gone through a massive overhaul in the past couple months with new leaders from the top all the way to the bottom, that change in itself has revitalized the entire facility. There is so much attention to detail with all residents there as well as help from the security staff in independent living. I could not be prouder of the changes the new leaders in that facility have brought, and there is only more to come.

My team and I are in and out of this community regularly, serving the amazing residents and staff. The level of professionalism and courtesy from the Village staff is second to none. You can tell they love their jobs. Friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating. The facility is one of the cleanest and most secure we have worked in. There is just a sense of warmth and happiness every time we walk through the doors. This is the type of place I would want my own family to live one day. Thank you to each and everyone of the amazing staff members for raising the bar and taking such phenomenal care of the senior members of our community!

I could not recommend The Village enough. My family chose The Village for my father and we were so pleased with the patient & kind staff in memory care. They truly took their time to find unique ways to engage with my father and catered to his every need. They listened to any and all concerns and requests we had. Highly recommend for any loved ones!!
