update: In general, it seems like the director is responsive to our concerns. There have been ups and downs. After speaking with the director, things got better for a time, then we were back down to 1 person again with an uptick in residents. It seems they have addressed the problem a second time and there were more caregivers the last few times I visited. I will continue to monitor. Mom moved in early fall of 2022. Everything seemed great. There were usually 2-3 people caring for 18 residents with dementia. Things have changed since the new year. Raised price $12k/year. At times there is only 1 person to care for all of the residents. Huge staff turnover in Clare Bridge. We are concerned. I have spoken with the director of Brookdale Dogwood about these matters.

Brookdale Dogwood Creek is an incredibly beautiful community. The people are kind, the staff is amazing, and the residents are happy. They have handled the current COVID situations with the highest level of consideration for all of their residents. They are truly taking care of all of their residents with the highest level imaginable. You wont regret a visit to Brookdale. If youre considering making the move, I highly recommend it!

Weve been with Brookdale since December, so only just a few months. Mom had a tough time adjusting for the first month, however the staff went beyond to help make her feel at home. During this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are so very thankful that she is where she is, she still has her independence yet, if we need anything the staff has never been anything but helpful to assist when needed. The weekend staff has been a joy to talk with (Thru the door) making our family a bit more at ease during this crazy time. Truly a blessing to know she is in a great facility and being well taken care of....

My mother was in six assisted livings and-or nursing homes in the Memphis area in the last several years. This Assisted Living and one nursing home were the only two out of the six that could care for my mother without making both of our lives a nightmare. The nurses who work here must have heavy and highly rated previous work experience, turnover is low, care is available 24-7-365, and leadership makes it their major focus to ensure that patients have a good experience here. This facility was able to handle a resident who experienced an age related decline during her stay, who was pushing the physical capability limits of the assisted living design, and who was requiring increasing levels of nursing and doctor attention. In summary, this first rate facility can play the caregiving game that they talk.

We moved my mother-in-law into the Clare Bridge Memory Care unit about 90 days ago and the entire experience has only gotten better each day. While she is unable to recall topics discussed three minutes ago, she consistently states every time we visit how nice the people are, how friendly they are, how good the food is, and how caring the staff is. My wife and I have been impressed with every single employee we have met. Every one has been helpful, polite, friendly, and gone out of their way to help us in every way. They have been exemplary. We are so thankful that in our emergency rush to find her a safe, stable and supportive home that the staff helped us tremendously through that critical time and that our friend's recommendation (he lives in Independent Living area) proved to be correct. We could not be more pleased.

Very nice, well maintained facility with very attentive staff. It's the best place to care for your loved ones. My friend's mom was in late stage of dementia when she moved into Dogwood Creek. We quickly noticed that each of the employees, no matter their job description, interacted with her bringing a smile to her face every day. They were very responsive to her needs and because of the professional and caring staff, my friend's mom lived longer, with more dignity, than the doctors thought possible.

We moved my mother into the Clare Bridge Memory Care unit at Brookdale Dogwood Creek about 6 weeks ago. We could not be more pleased with how it has worked out. All of the people who work there are extremely conscientious and very caring. The health care provided by the staff nurse is excellent. The residents are constantly involved in all types of stimulating activities, the food is great (my mother was too thin and has gained weight), and the residents all seem to be very happy. It was a tough decision to move her into a facility like this and it made me feel "guilty", but in hindsight, I wish we had done it much earlier. These people take care of essentially everything, and most importantly, my mother is happy and contented.

The staff and facilities at Brookdale Dogwood Creek have been excellent. The sales staff focused on our needs and made suggestions that proved invaluable in making sure that my mother was situated in the correct level of care. They have made her feel welcome which has created a smooth transition from living in her long time single family home to Dogwood Creek.

Excellent facility and the staff is top notch. This is by far the premier retirement home in the area. Every time I have been there everything is wonderful. Comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and a great and professional staff and service. I highly recommend The Solana Germantown!

The Solana is a wonderful facility. I am an independent contractor and have done numerous events for Solana since the day of their Grand Opening. Each time the staff and I had clear and constant communication and every occasion I was paid on time and correctly. I would not hesitate to recommend the Solana to friends or family for their loved ones. It is a gorgeous well taken care for faculty with attention to its residents and their happiness.

I have been with Brookdale for over 3 years and Dogwood Creek is by far the most beautiful community in Germantown. However, the beauty of this community is more than skin deep. The staff here truly enjoys catering to the needs and desires of the people who live there. It is refreshing to see how much each staff member cares about the residents. I am very thankful that the Lord has called me here to serve the people of our community with the respect and honor that they deserve. I am also thankful that He has placed so many other people here that I can serve alongside.

I have done business with The Solana on multiple occasions and LOVE seeing how much fun the residents have. The Solana is one of my clients that makes what I do fun. As far as payment goes, Ive been paid before the event, as I am walking out the door from the event, or within 24 hours of the event ending. I hope to work with them again in the future.
