It took me months before I finally made up my mind that my husband needed a lot more care than what I could provide for him. He got real ill last year and lost a lot of weight, wouldn't eat right, wouldn't bathe and he was in bad shape. After being in Brookdale for over a month, he started eating all of the right things, he gained all of his weight back, takes showers (which I couldn't get him to do), stopped having falls and his overall health is great. Their caring staff from management, caregivers and cooks makes Brookdale just like home for the residents. I wouldn't have him in any other place, except at home but that's not possible due to his dementia.

I have been employed at Brookdale going on 3years now We Strive to enrich the lives that we serve here Ive been in the activities department for 3 years now and The Activities we do with the residents are wonderful I cant wait until we can open our doors again to the entertainment our residents love the music and fun that we give through doing activities My Favorite activities to with them are Church and Trivia and playing music so we can get the residents up and dancing I really love my job and The Residents Really Thrive Here at Brookdale Clarksville Its more than a job to me were like one big family - Kaitlin

Ive only worked here for a few months and I can honestly tell you that everyone that works here has the communities best interest at heart. Not only does the management make sure the residents are properly cared for but they provide an awesome care system for the employees as well. Im grateful for them, and would 100% recommend this job to anyone who has the same passion I do.

As the significant other and friend, of the daughter, of a current resident I want people to know that Brookdale is a facility that provides excellent care for the residents under their charge. My girlfriend and I have visited, interacted, and participated in multiple events that truly were designed to benefit all of the residents living at the facility. I have to say that working with Alzheimer patients would be a difficult type of illness-disease to combat day in and day out; however, the staff at Brookdale completes each day and task while maintaining smiles!! This is the place I would want my family member to reside if they had similar circumstances!! Without a doubt, the Brookdale staff earns 5 stars with Marie Eppes at the helm.

My mother has been a resident of Brookdale, Clarksville for what will soon be a year. From the beginning of her transition from the hospital to Brookdale, all staff immediately jumped in and helped with the supports necessary for both my mother and myself. Mrs. Marie Eppes and the Brookdale administration have been pivotal in the entire process and have gone above and beyond many times to make each step of the way much more tolerable. The entire staff works tirelessly to ensure my mother is well cared for and happy. With the Alzheimers disease, and being the primary caretaker, all to often, family members are not around to ease the burdens incurred. Therefore, with the supports provided to me by the Brookdale staff, I will always consider them family. The Brookdale leadership provides me with the needed timely communication, includes me in ongoing events, and every detail of the decision making processes for my mother. I am definitely one of Brookdales biggest supporters and a Thank You is definitely in order!!!

Brookdale is the premier memory care facility in Clarksville, TN. Their professional staff is A+. They genuinely care and go above and beyond to provide the best care possible. They are great communicators and leave no detail untouched. As a professional partner with Brookdale, I can truly say it has been a pleasure to work with their new administrative staff. Brookdale goes above and beyond for their residents. During Covid, they have provided additional caregivers for their new residents, to keep all staff and residents as safe as possible. I have been extremely impressed by the new management and leadership within the facility as well. Putting residents first is a definite priority at Brookdale and it shows; not only in the physical care they provide, but also the engaging activities they plan for each resident. They are truly experts in dementia care. I am proud to be a community partner with them and am grateful to have them as a resource for our seniors in the Clarksville area.

As a health care professional here in Clarksville for the last 7 years I can honestly say Brookdale sets the standard for memory care. They care about people. If you were to walk in at any given time you would likely find resident and staff laughing, playing games, dancing, having a blast. They have recently hired several new leaders in management and the difference is breathtaking. This isnt your standard senior living community! They specialize in dementia and Alzheimers patients and they know how to care specifically for someone with these life difficulties. Their leadership has done an exceptional job, even through pandemic, continuing to love and care for people. At brookdale a good job is considered failure, they expect excellence and will only accept the highest level of care for each and every resident. Clarksville is blessed to have a community like Brookdale making the greatest difference, one resident at a time.

Getting all the care possible for their residents is a priority, to include therapy. Dementia care at its best and Im so glad our staff can assist them in providing care to these precious people. It is now almost two years later and I still wouldnt change a thing. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know our residents as well as family. It breaks my heart to loose anyone but then a new resident shows up and the fun begins again. Our staff has A few ups and downs but in the end, they absolutely love taking care of our residents. Just walking in everyday and seeing all their smiling faces is pure joy. Our residents are happy and loved. What more could you ask for. I have worked at Brookdale for only six months and love it. I was leary at first, but I fell in love with the residents and staff. I love how the team always comes together, even in the most difficult of times, and put the residents needs as a priority. The residents seem to be so happy with all the love and attention they receive. I feel very confident in having a family member live there.

My mother is at Brookdale during a very challenging time - the COVID-19 outbreak. Although the facility has many restrictions on what they can and cannot due in order to keep the virus out, they have gone above and beyond what some other facilities have done to keep the residents connected with family. While my mothers physical safety is very important, her emotional health is equally important and I appreciate all of Brookdales efforts to keep Mother and me as connected as possible.

I would recommend Brookdale to any family looking for the care of their loved ones who have Altzhiemers or Dementia. I feel so blessed to have found such a great place with amazing staff who are caring and compassionate with my father and the family. Making the decision to look for care of a loved one is one of the toughest and most painful decisions anyone has to make. The management staff walked me through the whole process while holding my hand, being supportive and praying for my father and I during that time. Marie Eepes was so helpful and caring during the whole process. When I ran into roadblocks with my father she helped me to find the way and get answers that I was looking for. She checked on me daily and was available to talk me through and support me. I have never met a more compassionate woman who loves what she does for people even when times are tough. Mrs. Marie and Mrs. Laura came to visit my father in the hospital and talk with him as well to make sure we were making the best decision for my fathers quality of life going forward. I never felt pressured during the process - it was the complete opposite. My father is now a resident of Brookdale and he is settling in as the staff are so attentive to his needs and make him feel worthy and needed. My father went from being very angry to smiling and joking. I have grown to know and trust several of the staff there as they treat you like family from day one!! Brookdale has activities all day to keep the residents active, stimulated and enjoying life to their fullest potential! The building and property are clean and very well maintained. If you are caring for your loved one or looking for the care needed go check out Brookdale - you wont be disappointed 🙂

Being apart of the Brookdale Clarksville team is one of the best family to be apart of. We always are working together and having a good time with our residents. When I go on vacation or just home for the day, I miss my residents and coworkers and just want to go back to work. We do so many activities and events together and I just wouldnt want to spend my time anywhere else. My residents, are my home away from home. Brookdale clarksville will forever have my heart.

Being given the responsibility to care for someones loved one through the highs and lows, that Alzheimers and Dementia bring with them, is truly a precious gift. Working with these amazing individuals has touched my life in more ways than I could ever begin to express. The people I work with at Brookdale genuinely love what they do and the people they help. We become part of the lives that bring joy, cry with you, laugh with you, and are as invested as the families are for only the best for our residents. It is a beautiful community, both in brick and morter and in the indescribable love we have for our residents, their families, and each other.

Brookdale Clarksville is more then a Assisted Living Facility. It is a home! The employees love and care for the residents like their own family. The Executive Director is very professional and a very caring person. She takes the care of every resident and employee very serious . My grandmother was a resident a couple of years ago. She was treated with love, respect and humility. She was happy there, she loved the stafff and the activities. The staff from top to bottom are truly loving and caring people. They treat the residents like one of their own family. Showing them dignity, love and respect, Im very grateful that my grandmother was a resident there at such a difficult time in her life.

This building is great! The staff truly care and love the residents and you can tell. The Executive director is truly amazing she cares about her staff and her residents. From personal experience having my great grandmother at the facility was the best option. She got all the care she needed while making friends! This place has tons of activities that are family orientated, and totally small child approved. Some of my best memories come from this building.

I have not only had the pleasure of working in this community, but also having my loved one here as a resident. We all become an extension of family, sharing smiles and tears through a difficult time in life. The understanding of dementia, is key in the care that is provided in all areas from nursing, programs, dietary, aides, office staff, even maintenance. Brookdale provides an atmosphere for families to enjoy time spent together knowing their loved one is safe. Ive seen the challenges that come with dementia, and the difference this place makes!

I have been here 12 yrs the 24th of this month. Everybody knows at any job ther are challenges. This job tho is very rewarding . The director of this community really cares for our residents, familys, an employees. We may not always be perfect but our residents receive love and care an im proud of being part of of it .
