I think it is a better place for my 81 year old mom to be in . She has her own room . This makes 3 times my sister has moved her in a place , since she has Lewy body dementia and early stage of Alzheimer's . My sister that's over our mom had moved our mom from Assisted living at Hickory Valley retirement from August 7 , 2021 to December 17 , 2021 . Then my sister moved our mom to Life Care of Collegedale nursing home and she lived there from December 17 , 2021 to March 31, 2023 . And then my sister moved our mom into this place at Martin Boyd Christin home ( for senior living ) on March 31 , 2023 and so far it is a really nice place for our mom . Hopefully our mom can get used to this place and enjoy it .

the people that do the evaluations evidently need more training it is not fair to the resident or the family after accepting the patient and moving in their thing that after 2 hours you decide that you cannot take care of this loved one

The Martin Boyd staff did a great job helping my family care for my dad. Making the decision to make this move is difficult for the whole family and my dad was happy there and enjoyed living in this facility. We will be forever grateful.

My Grandfather spend the last 4 months at Martin Boyd. He was given top rate care. The staff was incredible even on the night of his death. There were many times we were there visiting and his nurse Mrs. Cindy would come in and ask to pray with him. Everyone was so caring and kind to him in his stay there. My grandfather especially loved the desserts he got to eat at lunch. It always made me smile.

Years ago I did senior home care and a few of my clients were at Martin Boyd. Later my Grandma Piatt was there and now my other grandmother is there in the Alzheimers care wing and the staff is nothing short of amazing and always has been in the twenty years Ive been around there. You dont normally think of nursing homes as such wonderful places but this one stands out and leads the way. Its more like a home away from home for our loved ones. I cant say enough good things about them!

We moved my grandma in to Martin-Boyd almost a year ago. I am so thankful for the awesome, caring and friendly staff that take care of her. Thanks for all you do!

Almost a year ago my mom moved to Martin Boyd Christian Home Assisted Living after realizing she could no longer live alone. She had just recovered from Bacterial Meningitis and had completed physical therapy but was not able to return to her home. Martin Boyd was the only assisted living she would consider. She has been so happy there and loves the caregivers. She especially enjoys the daily activities and food (the chef recently hired is a graduate at the top of her class from Le Cordon Bleu in Atlanta). Mother eagerly tells me every day the delicious homemade meals and dessert she has eaten. I cant say enough good things about Martin Boyd. If you are looking for an assisted living facility for yourself or a loved one, please visit Martin Boyd for a tour. Because they are non-profit they are able to keep their rates low compared to similar assisted facilities in the Chattanooga area. They also have a memory care wing for those who have Alzheimers. 5 stars

The Martin Boyd Staff cared for my grandmother like she was part of their own family. They laughed and joked with her, they sat and shared with her, they treated her with kindness and respect. Her love for each one of the staff members continued to grow while she was there. I am also thankful for the amazing care and support that was extended to the family members, as we visited often. It was an inviting place to be. We will always carry love in our hearts for these special caretakers and friends at Martin Boyd!
