We have lived here 5 & 1/2 years & would recommend this facility for anyone who wants independent living. Our maintenance man, Fred Ebenal, has really helped us numerous times- he really knows how to fix most anything & if he can't fix it, he calls someone immediately who can. He is friendly and has a happy attitude. I hope he stays at Creekside .

Visited an old friend here. I strongly urge the staff to keep their derogatory comments about other staff members to themselves. I couldnt believe the things coming out of their mouths in earshot of residents and family.

I rate locked my apartment over 12 years ago and it has saved me a lot of money. I enjoy living here very much. The staff did a great,job taking care of us during the recent tornado.

Telephone discussion with Michael as well as the Virtual Tour went very well. I look forward to my son being able to get by there 1 day next week and provide me with his opinion. This is something I highly value.He is starting a new job on Monday 5-4, so may have to wait until the following week, but hope not to have to wait.

In a word Creekside at Shallowford is AMAZING. We recently spent four days here getting my mother-in-law moved in and settled. We enjoyed three meals a day in the dining room and the food was outstanding. The staff was very professional yet warm and friendly. We had a lot of interaction with Nancy who was born to do this kind of work!She is witty, interacts amazingly well with everyone, professional and immediately comes across as an ole friend. All in all we left feeling that mom couldnt be in a better place. If you are looking for a facility for yourself or a loved one DO NOT overlook Creekside at Shallowford.

This is a quality yet affordable place for older people who are not ready for an assisted living facility, but desire in-house services for occasional needs. People of all health and ability levels can be found here enjoying the attractive grounds and the well-prepared meals. The only downside is there is only one central elevator with few people able to (or wanting to) use the staircases...there is quite often a line (imagine what happens when this single elevator is down for repairs!)
