This is a nice facility and some of the staff is very tentatavie to the patient needs and there are some who needs more training on how to handle patients who can't feed themselves and need to have beverage availible for patient to drink and more snacks but overall a caring facility

I went there for my dad and first of all I am satisfied with their attitude with the seniors. I think still there are few chances to improve their services. I am still taking their services.

After placing my Mom in a memory care facility in Columbia it was obvious after a few months that I needed to move her as the care was sub standard and we were making frequent trips to the ER due to falls. I moved her to Colonial Gardens and it is the best of the best. Caring staff, activities to stimulate the residents and silent alarm systems in each bedroom. I just wish I had known about them from the beginning.

My loved one was in your facility for over a year, while we had our ups and downs with care, I believe overall it was a very good experience, especially when compared to the next facility to which he was moved. No place is perfect or cares for a loved one as we would. The attention to each resident, the employees who consider this a calling, make your facility one of the best. With minor improvements, ie, more new employee dementia training, you could be considered a model for future facilities.

Both my mother and father reside here. We looked at MANY places before deciding this would be their home. So many of the staff are truly fulfilling their calling by caring for those that can no longer care for themselves. Brenda, the administrator, loves each and every resident there like they were her very own family. My parents are happy, well cared for and even me and family are treated with kindness and compassion for what we go through watching our loved ones enduring these horrible diseases. I appreciate these people more than will ever know for loving and caring for my parents as well as me.5 stars
