I'm still trying to digest the 30% increase in fees for my parents staying there. They've had high turnover, reduced the number of nurses all in the last year and a half and then raise the prices 30%. We will now be paying nearly $8,000 per month. And this increase was to people on a fixed income.

My mom has been a resident at Terra Bella’s (formerly Magnolia ) for over 3 years. In the last year there has been a lot of changes including new owners. My mom has been and currently is treated with respect and is well loved. Over the last few months there have been some new upgrades to the property which includes a covered porch area in the back. It has been great to see the residents plant flowers and look forward to planting vegetables in a raised garden bed. That is only one of the many things they get to enjoy. There are crafts, music, weekly outings, and Sunday Church. My mom receives good care and lots of love. I love to visit and see the smiles on all the faces. They have some of the best caregivers and staff and I appreciate them all.

As a community partner of Terra Bella, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with their staff for many years. Upon each visit, every resident here looks happy. They’re always out of their rooms socializing or participating in one of the many activities that are carefully planned for them on a daily basis. Always an upbeat atmosphere and every single employee is in tune with what is going on with the residents. If I were in need of a community for an elderly family member I would feel confident that they would be happy and cared for at Terra Bella.

My mother moved to Terra Bella on the recommendation of a trusted friend. She had been in a memory care facility that made her feel like a prisoner and she was so unhappy. The entire staff worked tirelessly to care for the residents while being friendly, welcoming, and caring. While she was only there for less than two months, everyone got to know her and was very invested in her happiness. She was allowed to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine, birds, and people coming and going. They took her out on the van to shop and to dine out. She stayed engaged with other residents and the activities director who kept them busy and even brought her dog into the facility every day for the enjoyment of the residents. There is a real feel of family between the caregivers and the residents. The hospice nurse coordinated closely with the staff to ensure her safety and well being. As her death neared, everyone was so compassionate. Following her death they have reached out to me many times. I would highly recommend anyone looking for assisted living or memory care to take a tour.

Absolutely love Magnolias! After touring all facilities best decision I could have made for my Mom. The staff treated her like family. Management went over and beyond to make her feel welcome and safe. Having Nurses in the building at all times made a huge difference in my decision. Feels like one big family. One of the best Senior Assisted Living Facilities in the Charleston area. The staff is wonderful, the residents are always happy, and they have really taken care of everything for us. They offer assisted living, independent living, memory care, and much much more. I highly recommend Magnolias of Summerville for your senior family members!

If youre looking for assisted living in the Charleston, Summerville area, look no more. Cant say enough about the terrific care provided to my mother by Magnolias -- an excellent team of caregivers! And the many activities keep the residents active and engaged. Each time I visit I find my mother playing bingo, exercising, or enjoying the many choral groups, musicians, and other entertainment - exactly what she needs.
