I moved into Summit Hills about 4 months ago. The people at Summit Hills has made my transition into the penthouse as pleasant as I imagined . Everyone on the staff has most helpful as I try to acclimate to single lifestyle. I have found the food to be quite delicious with a varied menu that changes frequently. The staff as bent over backwards to ensure me that my needs are met . When things were not functioning correctly the support team in maintenance has been most helpful and reassuring me that the promised facility will function correctly. I enjoy options that are available to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Megan , the Wellness director is very knowledgeable and leads the class workouts with a smile . The housekeeping team is punctual, and keeps my penthouse shining when they leave. It seems the special events in Bistro on many nights of week are drawing large crowds when the functions have a theme. Social director , Laura does a great job proving holiday and patriotic themes with enthusiasm.

My mother is a rookie resident at Summit Hills. She is enjoying her time here. She has been in therapy several times in various settings. Her therapy here at Summit is so convenient and easy. She has worked with Dani and Kay in physical therapy and with Tatiana and Lacey in occupational therapy. She been very happy with all the wonderful therapists at Summit. They are all professional, encouraging and personable. I feel comfortable that she has the best care possible.

A beautiful senior community that has the look & feel of upscale neighborhood. Each ranch home is extremely well built, well insulated, with quality flooring, cabinets & 9 foot ceilings. The residents are warm & welcoming. At our first visit everyone said they loved living at Summit Hills and wished they moved it sooner. Their staff is amazing, food amazing, with onsite services & many activities to do at the community as well as scheduled trips and access to nearby downtown Spartanburg. We are greatly looking forward to starting our retirement years at Summit Hills.

My aunt is at Summit Hills and I have visited her every day for over two weeks. I've been here during breakfast lunch or dinner and have been so impressed with the food that the Chef here is preparing for the members. I am a chef and I recognize the quality and love that the staff puts in preparation. As they say the proof is in the pudding my aunt eats almost All of her food. My mother in law is in the Memory Care facility at Summit Hills and we feel like she gets very good care from the staff who show compassion and love on a daily basis. They are trained in Alzheimer's and dementia care and know how to incorporate their knowledge to provide appropriate care that the residents understand and need. This has taken a lot of stress off my wife so now she can enjoy the time she spends with her mom without the worry that comes with dementia. Would recommend Summit Hills

I am happy to be a resident in Independent Living at Summit Hills. It's a lovely and safe neighborhood, and the staff are wonderful. Even during the worst of the covid pandemic, they took good care of us, with frequent testing of residents, staff, and visitors. Thanks to our Director, we were among the first people in Spartanburg to be offered the first vaccine, and it was administered right here at our facility.

I like Summit Hills because rooms are decorated in bright colors. Room have a nice size tv with cable. The staff is very nice and very helpful. Therapy sessions are good and very detailed. The food is good and you have choices. I like I get fresh fruit vegetables every day.

My mother is in Assisted Living at Summit Hills in Spartanburg, SC. She can hardly see, and sometimes gets confused (But then, she IS 87, and she does great for her age!) There is always something going on for the residents to do, and there is no lack of creativity regarding the activities. They ask Mom to participate in many activities, despite her disability. Yesterday I was at a live auction where they used "play money" that they had earned for participating in the activities. With that money, they we buying novelty socks, scarves, cookies, and a wide variety of items. Everyone was enthusiastic, and the residents were proud of the items they purchased. I know it took a lot of work to organize, but the event was worth it. Thanks, Activity Committee!

I have been privileged to be the pianist at Summit Hills the past 8 years. They are by far the most caring, loving and welcoming staff that I have seen and I see many. They go above and beyond the call of duty. Their first concern is the residents and what best for them. My mother needed rehab after another "upscale": center nearly cost her life. Summit was wonderful and she did extremely well. I have nothing but praise and respect for everyone there. Each individual is skilled, trained and genuinely cares.

My mother , sister and I are extremely blessed with Summit Hills. Every staff member we have come in contact with has been helpful , kind , comforting and pleasant. The meals are good and. Immunity is beautiful. It is always spotless and my moms is always clean.Its so nice to go to sleep and I know my mom is safe and well taken care of .I appreciate the salon they have because that is something my mom has always done weekly.Highly recommend Summit Hills for a retirement community.

I was Leary about coming to summit hills and was pleasantly surprised. The nurses, therapy and CNAs are wonderful and tend to my every need. Carla the dietician just left, wanted to make sure I was happy with the food and I wanted to make any changes. Laura the activity director comes by frequently to put a smile on my face. She brings puzzles and other activities to keep me entertained. The community is clean and beautiful.If I was looking for a place to retire I would choose Summit Hills. I highly recommend Summit Hills.

We moved to Summit Hills five years ago and are very happy that we did-moving is never easy, but it was worth the effort. We are very pleased with our cottage, it has a great floor plan with good traffic flow. The buildings and grounds are well maintained inside and out.The wellness and social activities are outstanding. Great creative wellness leadership with good classes on land and in the water. Social activities provide interesting, informative and fun opportunities. Good food in the Bistro and Dining Room provided by an outstanding team.We highly reccomend Summit Hills for independent living and are happy to have the opportunity for continuing care when needed.

I have become good friends with so many of the residents. Staff are very caring and they truly want what is best for me. We moved here while in our early 70s and built our cottage 3 years ago. We have found it to be a great place to live. There are enough social activities to keep you busy as well as being involved in the residents advisory board if you so opt to do so. Our neighbors are a great group of people and it is exceptionally easy to meet new people and develop new friendships. Management and staff do an excellent job of providing safety and a wide range if services. Its just really nice not to take care of home and lawn maintenance and only having to worry about what you will choose from the menu for your next meal. Moving to Summit Hills is retirement as it should be. we couldnt be happier
