We could not have found a better, more kind and loving place for my father. Martha Franks Retirement Community provides the care and friendship we were searching for. We are very pleased with the family atmosphere. After almost a year, our Dad is healthy and happy.

its all nice looking from the outside but the service is not up to expectations...my father was only there for rehab and within 2weeks he developed a bed sore...back to the hospital for days then back to MF...the staff is only there for a paycheck im convinced!! The have some many different nursing aide working there u mite 5 different NA in 1 week that are perfect strangers and they will come in your room and not have clue on your personal needs and expect the resident to be able to tell you when they really cant!! I have heard too many other families talk about they have removed their loved ones from this facility! God be with anyone who has to place their loved ones here!!

My husband and I made the difficult decision to move from the home we had lived in for more than 60 years and decided that Martha Franks was the best place for us. We are in our third year here and we have never questioned our decision. Our experiences with everybody, from marketing to housing to those who serve on a more personal basis has been nothing but positive. We love our cottage and our new friends! The corona virus has kept us apart from others and while it isnt exactly fun to follow safety rules, we are extremely thankful that there have been no cases of covid19 here. The staff here have made us safe and well! We thank God every day for the privilege of living here!

Both of my parents have lived at Martha Franks throughout the past 6 1-2 years. One of my parents still lives there. They started out in Independent, then assisted living and at times, skilled nursing. They have been treated with respect and dignity. The staff is loving and kind and tries in every way to meet my parents expectations and needs. If there are ever any issues, they try in a very professional way to resolve them. Because of the love in this community and the professionalism, I highly recommend Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Community. I am grateful for Martha Franks and the staff, each and every one!

I have worked here for 20 plus years and have had several of my family members stay here both in long and short term. I have always been pleased with the care that they received. Martha Franks is a great place to work as well. The atmosphere is one of christian based and family oriented. I encourage you to come and visit us and see for yourself.

My grandparents lived at Martha Franks 35 years ago. I was always impressed with the compassionate care they received, the community they were welcomed into. Now my father is a resident, and I am again tremendously impressed with the care and attention he receives at Martha Franks. I cannot conceive of a better place for him. Not a single resident of Martha Franks has tested positive for Covid-19, while over 43% of U.S. pandemic fatalities are from long-term care facilities. Whatever unfortunate mistakes this one staffer may have made on her own time does not follow her to the job. Martha Franks is doing it right.

Over the years I have visited several friends who reside (or resided) at Martha Franks Retirement Community. I have always found the staff to be attentive, compassionate, and professional. The residents are always treated with dignity and respect and have always spoken very highly of the care they receive; they are pleased with their decision to call Martha Franks Retirement Community their home.

Martha Franks is a wonderful Facility! It is clean and the people who work there are so friendly and caring. I have had the opportunity to visit our church members on several occasions as well as our church partnering with the facility to wash cars for residents, sit and talk with residents, work in the prayer garden, minister to the workers. Every aspect has been so rewarding. The atmosphere is so loving and inviting! I am so encouraged about how they personally take care of individuals - not only taking care of their needs but really knowing the patients they take care of... It truly is an environment where the workers are an extension of the families of individuals. I wish there was a rating of 100... I just pray that when I reach the age to retire, this facility would be one I could be a part of... Blessings and Thanks for all you do!

Martha Franks Retirement Community has been a wonderful place for my parents, who are in independent living, as well as for my father-in- law, who is in assisted living. Every staff member, from the marketing team, the director, the nursing staff , housekeeping, maintenance, and food services has been so wonderfully caring and compassionate. Martha Franks has become an extension of our family and one we will forever be grateful for.

Martha Franks is located in a beautiful setting in Laurens, SC. It is a special place for residents because of the excellent care, nourishing meals, and the willingness from staff to help residents with any request no matter how big or small. Martha Franks have a very talented and understanding management team and service oriented employees at every level of responsibility. As each residents level of care increases the staff are very compassionate and the residents are treated with dignity and respect. Our mother is a residents at Martha Franks and we have a peace knowing she is being cared for a such a special place where staff always treat her with such a calm and professional manner. Our mother has been in assisted living at Martha Franks for going on a year now. We, nor she, could be more pleased. The staff go above and beyond in working with her and the other residents, and she has already grown to care for them in this short time. The grounds are beautiful and she enjoys her daily walks outside. The facility itself is kept very clean and has personal touches through out that make it more cheerful. The cafeteria offers nutritious and delicious options for her to choose from at each meal. She has told us several times recently that she knows she was no longer safe at home, and that this is the next best place she could be. As a home health nurse, I have visited many facilities to care for patients, so I write this not only from a family members perspective, but having a small insight into the hard work and dedication it takes to run a retirement community in the manner Martha Franks is run. Again, I am more than grateful to know our Mom is in their hands.

Martha Franks Retirement Community is that — a community — with a godly mission, a family-oriented atmosphere, a friendly and helpful staff, and a comfortable and beautiful setting for senior living. My grandparents lived there many years ago, shortly after it opened. My in-laws have been residents in independent living for almost three years. My father has been receiving wonderful love and attention for the time he has been a resident of assisted living, nearly a year. As a Baptist Minister of Music, it has been my practice for a decade or more to take choirs to sing for this community. So, my contact with this ministry has been regular, and deep. I know many of the staff. During my fathers stay there, I have come to know many of the housekeeping and maintenance folks, the med tech staff, the cafeteria workers, and many of the residents. To a person, they are loving and caring individuals who make daily life fun, engaging, safe and fulfilling for the seniors in their care. A stellar administrative staff give heart and soul, compassion and love to their staffs and all the residents. Recently it was my great joy and pleasure to give testimony of my familys experiences with Martha Franks Community to its volunteer Board of directors. My family and I are grateful for Martha Franks Community! Its a beautiful, peaceful, fun place for anybody interested!

My Mother was a resident here for many years and it was as good as it gets. She was well cared for and they did everything possible to make it work. They were so kind and compassionate to her and to our family in the last weeks and days of her life. The food was outstanding for a care facility and they were always willing to provide what she wanted. We could always join her for lunch or dinner if we were visiting. I always recommend Martha Franks if a care facility is needed. My special thanks to all the staff for the excellent care given my Mother.

Martha Franks had what we were looking for. We were impressed with their staff and their facilities. The houses were very good. They have activities, dining, long-term care, assisted living, and individual homes. The food was very good, and the dining area was very nice and large. There's a buffet, a salad bar, and a dessert bar. They have an exercise room.

Martha Franks got good staff, a good recreation or activity director, and good activities. They have worship people and churches that come in, and they take excellent care of everybody. They have singers that come in, games they play, and an indoor area where they can watch television. They just do all kinds of activities with them. Those who are mobile, they take them all to Wal-mart or out to eat. For those who are in-house, they have some kind of a therapy thing that they do with them. And they have a place where they fix the ladies hair.

My parents have been there for several years now and overall I am versy satisfied with the treatment they are receiving. Dad passed away last January and I was touched by the kind hearted people there. I know of places that are a lot worse than this one. Bless the staff there!
