Great place to call Home! My Mom has become a resident in The Gardens at East Side and I can not say enough good things. As Lovely as it is, it's the people who make the difference. They truly care, go out of their way to help, and make you feel like one of their family.

My mother, who has Alzheimer's, entered The Gardens yesterday. The transition really couldn't have gone any better. The staff members are simply amazing. They are a very caring group of people. My mom has only been there for a couple of days now—but so far, she is doing really well. I would highly recommend The Gardens.

The best Assisted Living facility in the state of South Carolina! The staff are so loving and kind. My family member said, "Feels like home." To me, they are like family. So thankful for The Gardens at Eastside in Greenville.

Mom has lived in three care facilities in Greenville, SC. The Gardens has been the best place by far. A great and caring staff. Responsive medical care. The facility is clean and well maintained. We are very happy we found The Gardens.

We got our father into the Gardens at Eastside last month, and we are very happy with the service levels he is receiving. The staff consistently go out of their way to do so many things for Dad. Best of all, we don't have to ask for much. The staff identifies a need and takes care of it promptly. They are friendly, caring, and responsive. Also, the meals are much better than the previous AL facility. I would not hesitate to recommend the Gardens to anyone.

It's hard to move a loved one away from their home but I feel very happy with my experience at the Gardens at Eastside so far. My mother moved into the Assisted Living wing. The staff are all very friendly and you can tell they try very hard to make the residents happy, safe, and have many activities available to keep them busy. Before making the choice to move my mother here I talked to many different residents and visiting family members when the staff wasn't around and they all had good things to say. My experience has been very good as well and I highly recommend the Gardens at Eastside!

The staff is incredible; they have made her transition as easy and comfortable as can be for her, and they have been very reassuring to me! We are grateful every day for the love and care my mother receives at The Gardens. From the minute you walk into the beautifully decorated doorway, you feel the warmth and are surrounded with peace. If you want to feel happiness and RELIEF when leaving your loved one that very first day at a new facility, then The Gardens at Eastside is the place for you. I can't praise the staff, especially Kelly and Adam, enough for the warm, loving welcome they provided the morning we arrived. We couldn't help but smile from ear to ear as we walked in the front doors to the Gardens and saw different staff members there to open their arms and hearts to Gerry. And this amazing "hospitality " did not stop that day. Supportive communication has continued even days later. From med techs (Cheian) to front desk (Kaylee) to upper staff (Kelly!) - we could not be happier!

My loved one will celebrate living at The Gardens at Eastside for one year shortly. She diminished greatly in an independent living community, that she loved, in nine months of the pandemic isolation protocol. The management and staff made the transition safe and easy, even with the restrictions of the day. My loved one fit right in, made friends, engaged in fitness and activities right away. The daily isolation was gone and she could enjoy her life again.

The facility it's self and some staff are great but when I was working as a hospice nurse. They told so many lies to my employer, along with stealing my m Victoria secret rain jacket and saying they couldn't find it when I knew where I left it. I even went back and it was gone. Just be careful with your stuff and who you become friends with dogwood is a dog eat dog place. There was only one lady there I loved and she was a black women did pass medication out to patients she was truly the best, always helped me when I needed it. Update: 4 days after posted. They asked me to call. I did was told someone would call back no call! This place is shady and don't care unless you got the money. They let employees still from other people. They did nothing when I went back the day after I left my jacket...

Even though my mother's stay at The Gardens at Eastside was short, the time spent there was great!! She was very well taken care of by ALL the staff... the entire care team!!! I want to especially Crystal, Shonda, Jennifer and Tanisha!!! Knowing that you all truly cared for my mom made this daughter's heart and nerves calm down. A special thanks goes to Kelly!!! She not only made sure mom's needs were taken care of, but also helped me through this process.

This afternoon I went to visit Mama from around 4:15 to 5:00 and I just wanted to brag on the two young ladies who were working in Dogwood. Mama and I visited in the common area and I was able to watch Yasmine and Lachenia getting everyone ready for supper. They were so kind, happy and very patient with every resident. It is just another reason I am so happy that Mama lives at The Gardens!

My dad has recently moved to The Gardens from his eastside home of more than 50 years. Getting him to move was quite a process, but my sister and I could not be more pleased! Everything from the patience and understanding of our moving process extended to us through Adam and now all the genuine kindness and attention he receives on a daily basis is such an abundant blessing. Our dad settled in very quickly; he is eating well; he loves his table mates and having people around to talk to; he has participated in more outings than we could ever have imagined! There is always a fun and meaningful activity going on here!! We know that he is helped everyday by dear folks who genuinely love their work and senior adults. These last few months have well exceeded our expectations. We are so thankful for this beautiful and loving community and would not hesitate to recommend it for anyone. We feel we have found a true gem in the people, the care, and the facility that work together to provide just what we needed for our dad and so much more! Thanking God everyday for this great blessing!!

I have been a volunteer at The Gardens for the last 17 years, and that alone is a testimony to the quality of this facility. Because of the dedication, care, and encouragement of the management team, the staff, and the volunteers, the residents are able to be actively engaged both with their fellow residents, as well as in the greater Greenville community, and they are able to continue to enjoy many of the things they have always enjoyed, such as musical performances, exploring local restaurants, exploring interesting areas of the Upstate as well as western North Carolina, etc. Life at The Gardens is all about living life to the fullest, physically, emotionally, and spiritually; when you walk in the door, you are immediately greeted by a happy, vibrant family of residents that truly consider The Gardens as their HOME.

When looking for a place for my mother I had toured several other facilities in Greenville and was deeply disappointed. The normal Assisted Living Facilities seemed Ok at best and the Memory Care sections were HORRIBLE!! The Residents looked like they were in Prison. Just shoved off behind a solid steel locked door and forgot about! Then someone gave me recommendation about the Gardens at Eastside. I decided to go take a tour and as soon as I walked in the Front Door my breath was taken away. The entire entry area looked like someone's living room. The only thing that gave it away was the Information desk and it did not look like one. I was promptly greeted when I arrived by a lady named Lyla. Very warm and friendly person who got someone to cover the desk while we went in the Directors Office and talked about Mom's Needs. We then walked through the facility and the rest of the facility was just as nice as the entrance. The staff seemed to know every single resident they interacted with on that in addition to the Family Members of the Residents. Plus you could tell there was genuine love and concern on that staff members part. The Staff at the Gardens works extremely hard to make the Residents feel as if they are at Home. If you are in Greenville the Gardens at Eastside is the place for your loved one even more so than other places that are twice the Monthly Rent!

My mother is a resident at The Gardens of Eastside. She was previously at a different facility, which enables us to compare the two. The Gardens at Eastside is the best place I can imagine for my mother. Every staff member we have interacted with has been superb. They constantly go out of their way to find opportunities to enrich the lives of their residents and bring them joy. It really is like being part of a very loving family. I never have to worry about anything with my mother as I am confident that she is in the very best of care and in a warm and loving environment.
