My family is so blessed that we have our Dad at Rapha Residential Care. They genuinely care for Dad. They treat him with dignity, compassion and respect. The staff is amazing. They spend time with him in conversation and always get him to the activities that he enjoys. As my Dads dementia progresses they realize that they have to help him with decision and they know his likes and dislikes. They have been amazing taking care of his recent heart issues. The nurse, Hiedi Cribb is on top of all of his needs. She treats him like he is her Dad. She is never to busy to help him or direct staff to provide for him. We are blessed over and over to have Dad at Rapha. We dont know what we would do without themTHANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!

My almost 92 year old Grandfather has been there for a couple of months now. I would recommend Rapha to anyone. Rapha is more than an Assisted Living it is like home.

Staff is very caring and loving with residents. They have fun with them, know each by name, and take their time with them. Had a fundraiser for Alzheimers cure, with a fair for residents and community, with great music, games, hayrides and delicious fair food. The residents, staff and families took part in karaoke...so powerfully moving! The Director, Paula, leads her team by example, engaging with residents, visioning next steps for best experience for residents and staff. The owners, Mike and Helen are very hands on, too, and inspire this great family environment! Kudos!

I cannot understand how anyone can give Rapha a poor rating. My mother was there until her death and I never saw anything that made me upset. The facility was always clean. I never experienced a bad odor. The staff was kind and caring. Rapha might not look like these five thousand dollar a month facilities but the care and service is far above other places.

The staff was very caring and loving with my cousin. They takes their time to get to know each resident and have fun with them. The place has a home and family feeling about it, where the staff and residents smile and talk.

My father spent the last five years of his life at Rapha Residential Care. He and we loved it and he called it home. The facility has a home like atmosphere and is always clean and well maintained. Ms. Paula Prosser, The Director, is always available to answer any questions and concerns. She loves the residents and manages to hire staff who see this work as their calling-not as a job. My father thanked me many times for finding this place where he knew he was loved and well cared for. He was a WWII Veteran and he deserved to be treated with respect and kindness and this place provided that in spades. Thank you Ms. Prosser for providing a 5 star place!

The staff is very caring, courteous and professional. They ensure the safety, and well-being of the residence. My mom has been there for over a year, and the care is stellar. I visit often and see the sincere concern they have for all the residence. From the dining room, to the sing-a-longs, or the carnivals the staff ensures our loved ones are taken care of with a smile and grace.

I love going to visit the patients and staff at Rapha Residential. Its a wonderful little community in Gaston with a loving director and staff that takes great pride in caring for its residents and facility. Paula and her team keep a clean building and it always feels like a family event when I come in. Plus, its tucked away from the city so its peaceful with grounds and gardens to walk through.
