My mother moved in here in December and it has been a great experience for her. The residents and staff are very caring about her. There is a variety of activities she has been involved in such as socials, Bible Study, concerts, crafts, card games and opportunities to meet others socially. The different room layouts allowed us to pick a room that fit her budget. We believe that she is well taken care of here!

The village of Southlake is a wonderful location for independent living. There are daily activities, wonderfully prepared meals and good quality management. The facilities are beautiful and newly renovated. The individual apartments come in a wide array of sizes and each are thoroughly cleaned and updated once the previous residence has moved out. There is a weekly cleaning crew to assist in some of the heavier parts of healthy living. Pets are allowed with a deposit, and the location is great, near the local police department. Crafts and happy hour and available for entertainment! The village of Southlake offers much more!

My Parents have lived at the Village at Southlake for nearly 3 years and they LOVE it! I visit with them once a week and I have been completely impressed with everything and everyone there. And that includes the food, which is actually good. (Not sure what the food complaint is about)My Parents were at another good retirement facility before this, but they like The Village even more!!

I am a friend or relative of a current-past residentVillage at Southlake is where my mother is living right now. She chose it several years ago based on recommendations and proximity to relatives. I have a sister living up there, and it is a very nice facility. It?s very modern and very clean. It has been under a couple of different managements in the last few years, but I think my mother -- and this will be her third year -- is satisfied with it. After viewing some places down in the Myrtle Beach area.

Today my daughter and grandson joined me for an exploratory visit to Southlake. They moved to this area last summer, and I am searching for a new place to call home so I can be near them. The staff was friendly and helpful; the facilities, clean and lovely. This is the first place weve visited that has activities that I enjoy: art and crafts, fitness, walking, outdoor living, and a nice park within walking distance, where I can enjoy birding and nature. I did not have a meal, hence only 4 stars. Im still looking, but feel strongly that this is the place for me.4 stars

I am retired nurse and personal caregiver for one of the residents at The Village of Southlake. I am thrilled to know this community of residents. I have met so many wonderful people through my client. I am also equally impressed with the employees here at The Village of Southlake. Each one representing various departments from the Executive Director, Front Desk, Dining Room, Maintenance, to Housekeeping take the time to interact and engage with the residents here. My family is not from this area, but if they were this is where I would love for them to be. I believe this is one of the highest quality Senior Residential Communities I have ever visited.
