I visited The Village at Southlake last week. Everyone there was so friendly. I was able to have lunch while I was there, it was the best fried chicken I've ever had! The residents enjoyed activities including a luau at the pool with a steel drum band. I visited with 3 different residents that are excited to make The Village at Southlake their new home!

This is such a wonderful community filled with love! The residents all seem so very close and want to interact and be social together. This may be outside enjoying the sunshine, inside playing a game or putting together a puzzle. It really feels like "home" and can see all smiles as you walk through the building. Various room types to choose from throughout with great amenities! The patio and garden homes are a plus too!

Everyone we came in contact with from the receptionist to the executive director were very welcoming, helpful and professional. As we toured the facility I noticed the staff knew the residents by name. Which made me realize they are involved and care about the people they are serving and caring for. The residence we met were happy. We met people who had lived there from 4-13 years and they all sang the praises of the staff and the facility. We are looking for a place for my in-laws that is active, friendly and community driven. The Village at Southlake checks all the boxes.

I feel so comfortable having my mom in a community that is so accommodating. The grounds are beautiful, the activities are engaging and Ashley S. was a wonderful help navigating leasing. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my mom at in this community.

John coordinated a visit for us and partnered with Wendy the Executive Director for a tour. The Village of Southlake was extremely generous in hosting an amazing lunch where my family and I enjoyed the fine dining that is provided for their residents either a la carte or on the menu. My mother enjoyed it very much. Wendy was wonderful! She was patient and explained all amazing features this Lexington location has to offer throughout our tour. We are looking forward to touching base and setting up my mother’s new home once she is ready to go!! Y’all are amazing thank you!!

My 97 yr old Dad has been living at The Village at Southlake for over a year and loves it. He enjoys the meals, he doesn't have to worry about housekeeping there are daily activities and he enjoys the daily interaction with the staff. Everyone is very friendly especially Mary, Frances and Suzy.

I have lived at The Village at Southlake for for 8 years now. I can't imagine living anywhere else. The staff are wonderful and go to great lengths to meet your needs. The residents are happy. There are a lot of activities to choose from. They also offer us special treats, like, musicians, ice cream soda day, etc... There is a lovely front porch where residents can sit and enjoy the weather, talk with friends, read a book... There is also a pathway to walk around our beautiful pond, where there are places to sit and watch the turtles and birds. I hope to be here as long as possible.

My mother moved in here in December and it has been a great experience for her. The residents and staff are very caring about her. There is a variety of activities she has been involved in such as socials, Bible Study, concerts, crafts, card games and opportunities to meet others socially. The different room layouts allowed us to pick a room that fit her budget. We believe that she is well taken care of here!

The village of Southlake is a wonderful location for independent living. There are daily activities, wonderfully prepared meals and good quality management. The facilities are beautiful and newly renovated. The individual apartments come in a wide array of sizes and each are thoroughly cleaned and updated once the previous residence has moved out. There is a weekly cleaning crew to assist in some of the heavier parts of healthy living. Pets are allowed with a deposit, and the location is great, near the local police department. Crafts and happy hour and available for entertainment! The village of Southlake offers much more!

My Parents have lived at the Village at Southlake for nearly 3 years and they LOVE it! I visit with them once a week and I have been completely impressed with everything and everyone there. And that includes the food, which is actually good. (Not sure what the food complaint is about) My Parents were at another good retirement facility before this, but they like The Village even more!!

The most important part of a senior living facility is the food, and the food is BAD. In spite of repeated complaints by residents, the salt content continues to be dangerously high. My dad had a heart attack last year and it was partly attributed to high levels of sodium. I talked to management several times myself but it has not changed. Dad's cardiologist says his sodium levels continue to be very high. Dad regularly sends food back because of too much salt. No matter how nice this place is, I can't recommend it.
