My wife was a long term resident here for eight months until she passed and the staff took wonderful care of her. I broke femur and was unable to bear weight for 12 weeks so I specifically requested to be sent here, the therapy and nursing are wonderful to work with and I owe them all the credit of regaining my mobility again. I will be returning home this week. Bethea is a great place!

I have visited Bethea Retirement Community multiple times, and each time I found the facility to be clean and bright. I have also found the staff to be helpful and attentive. During my most recent visit, the parking lot which I had normally used was being resurfaced, and was not available. However, there were ample and visible signs directing visitors to another parking area. In addition to signage for parking, the alternate walk-in entrance was well marked and a staff person was stationed at the door. It was a sunny morning, and the person realized that anyone walking toward the door was looking directly into the sun, so she stepped outside and waved her arms to attract the person's attention. As a Human Resources professional for many years, I have visited many medical, rehab, and retirement facilities on behalf of employees, family, and friends. I suppose its second nature for an HR person to observe employees and staff with an eye for indicators of employee morale? I can say that on my visits to Bethea, I have found the staff to appear to be helpful to one another and willing to pitch in. I have not heard comments such as : "That's not my job". Very refreshing and somewhat unusual in this day and time. Please it going!

I had the opportunity to attend the Christmas parade that the staff had for the residents. This was the first time I visited since my grandmother was a resident in the 1980’s. It was a wonderful place back then but I am so impressed with the facilities they now offer. Still going strong after all of these years.

Can’t say enough about Bethea! Deciding on a home for my family member was obviously an emotional decision but we feel like we made the best one. The staff who I have interacted with have been very friendly and attentive and set my mind at ease. The facility is updated, beautiful and comfortable and what impressed me most is that it doesn’t feel like a retirement home at all and more like a nice hotel. I’m very happy with the care we are receiving at Bethea and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a modern facility with high quality staff.

I am a rehab patient at Bethea and will be returning home today. I received excellent care from the nursing and rehab staff, they met my every need. Thank you Bethea for all your help. I would highly recommend Bethea for anyone needing long term placement or rehab services!

Grandma has been here twice for rehab. The nursing staff takes good care of her and are good at communicating with us about her care. Rehab staff is very friendly very good people. She was able to return home the first time and working her way back home currently. New building is in great shape and very clean and modern. This is a great place and good place for the elderly to come.

Fantastic! Best facility to live in in Pee Dee! Wouldnt live anywhere else ! Lots of activitys, clean facility, great staff, pool and water aerobics, Out patient and inpatient rehab other things I dont even think of at this moment. Ive been here almost 4 yr and love it. For info call 843-393-2867
