Bethea is a wonderful place with great employees. The standard of cleanliness is very high. The staff is always courteous and kind to everyone! The building is very well kept up and nice. The new building is recently renovated and up to date. I would highly recommend Bethea for rehab or long term care!

They need to hire more staff to run this beautiful facility. It’s a great place to bring your family but you have to worry about if they would get the appropriate care. My family member was discharged about a week ago and she only had two complaints: the food was not the best, your order one thing but get another; night shift it’s never enough aides. They need more staff to help at night time. The nurses were good but sometimes she didn’t get her pain meds as needed.

My family was truly blessed to find this place. It is very evident that cleanliness is a top priority at Bethea. One thing that stood out to us was the amazing staff. I just can't say enough about the compassion that was continually shown throughout our family member's stay.

I broke femur and was unable to bear weight for 12 weeks so I specifically requested to be sent here, the therapy and nursing are wonderful to work with and I owe them all the credit of regaining my mobility again. I will be returning home this week. Bethea is a great place!

My friend has been a long term resident at Bethel Retirement Community for several years, I visit her daily. Bethel does a great job at keeping her room clean and fresh the building always look clean and nice. The CNAs and Nurses always go above and beyond to provide her with the highest quality of care possible check-in on her regularly to ensure she is clean and comfortable,I thank them for that! They also have a brand new building which is very nice! If you need rehab or long term care I would highly recommend this place !

The staff was wonderful. Housekeeping does a great job. I couldn't give a higher star because the food was cold most of the time. And for example the French fries taste like they were a day old. Also, if you don't like what they have. There is nothing else to choose. I wanted to speak to someone concerning this issue but never received a call back. I will recommend Bethea but just bring your own food. Hopefully Bethea will check into this matter and correct it. Still a nice place and great people.

I had the opportunity to attend the Christmas parade that the staff had for the residents. This was the first time I visited since my grandmother was a resident in the 1980’s. It was a wonderful place back then but I am so impressed with the facilities they now offer. Still going strong after all of these years.

Can’t say enough about Bethea! Deciding on a home for my family member was obviously an emotional decision but we feel like we made the best one. The staff who I have interacted with have been very friendly and attentive and set my mind at ease. The facility is updated, beautiful and comfortable and what impressed me most is that it doesn’t feel like a retirement home at all and more like a nice hotel. I’m very happy with the care we are receiving at Bethea and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a modern facility with high quality staff.

I have visited Bethea Retirement Community multiple times, and each time I found the facility to be clean and bright. I have also found the staff to be helpful and attentive. During my most recent visit, the parking lot which I had normally used was being resurfaced, and was not available. However, there were ample and visible signs directing visitors to another parking area. In addition to signage for parking, the alternate walk-in entrance was well marked and a staff person was stationed at the door. It was a sunny morning, and the person realized that anyone walking toward the door was looking directly into the sun, so she stepped outside and waved her arms to attract the person's attention. As a Human Resources professional for many years, I have visited many medical, rehab, and retirement facilities on behalf of employees, family, and friends. I suppose its second nature for an HR person to observe employees and staff with an eye for indicators of employee morale? I can say that on my visits to Bethea, I have found the staff to appear to be helpful to one another and willing to pitch in. I have not heard comments such as : "That's not my job". Very refreshing and somewhat unusual in this day and time. Please it going!

Grandma has been here twice for rehab. The nursing staff takes good care of her and are good at communicating with us about her care. Rehab staff is very friendly very good people. She was able to return home the first time and working her way back home currently. New building is in great shape and very clean and modern. This is a great place and good place for the elderly to come.

My FIL needed to come here for skilled mursing. This pkace is beautiful, clean and serene. They have great equippment for rehab. The staff is phenomenal. If i ever need to go for rehab or assisted living i would love to come here.

Some of the workers can be very mean(physically and mentally)to the residents that stay there. So if you have a love one there check on them.

When I came to Bethea, I was in a wheelchair. In the month that I have been here, I went from a wheelchair to a walker and now I use a cane. The next goal is to be able to independently walk without support. Tyler and all the physical and occupational therapists are professional and treat everyone equally. God uses them to motivate and inspire people to do their personal best. The nurses (Michelle and Jami) and CNA's are very friendly and do a great job taking care of the residents. The household coordinator, Becca, was always kind and a nice smiling face to see every day. She made sure that everything during my stay here went smoothly while making me feel like I was at home. The social worker, Jamie, was nice, took care of all my needs, and helped me with the transition going back home. Housekeeping and laundry services were excellent making my room clean and fresh. Dining was great and served with a smile. All in all, everyone was friendly and supportive. I couldn't have done rehab without the prayers of people and God working through these people to move my heart and bring me to where I am now. It is through God's strength, power, and His love that I have successfully completed treatment. I give God all the praise and glory! Thank you Bethea from the bottom of my heart!
