Update: Dont waste your time. Crooks. I will never recommend them, not for care, not for employment! Im not sure whether to give 2 or 3. Ive had mixed experience being employed by the company. My schedule got messed up from the get go. Pay is decent but scheduling can be rude. Owner John was nice initially as long as youre bending over backward putting hours in but there are various things that need to change about how others in the company talk to caregivers *cough-scheduler*. Its not always feasible to give 48 hrs notice when an issue or illness arises but caregivers still are talked to disrespectfully if scheduler gets frustrated. Dont DARE try to have a life outside of this place! Theyve had some things happen since July and John was trying to turn things around in management and make things better but it definitely obviously isnt going to change overnight. At this point Im frustrated and annoyed. Ive spent my share of shifts waiting on my relief to show up at a client I drive 90 miles round trip for but its not ok for me to be late or have an issue that causes me to miss a shift. Its comply, go and do or else. Ive tried to remain professional and kind but sometimes things just dont work. I worked a few months the first time. Took a step away due to the mess then I accepted shifts to help the owner out. Then at christmas, my schedule was changed and I was retaliated against because I couldnt accept a shift. I was not on call. dont waste your time with this company.
