This is a great place to spend your retirement .Donna and Jose and the maintenance team are awesome. I feel safe living here . It was so worth the wait my apartment is one of the nicest ones I've seen in Columbia area. The views are breathtaking. I am grateful, happy and blessed to call this place home.

Customer service is king. In every business this should be the primary focus to gain, retain, and appreciate your customers. I called Lakeside Apartments simply looking for an apartment for myself (39) not realizing it's for people over 60/Section 8. I currently take care of my grandmother with dementia, leukemia, and breast cancer and understand how hard it can be and the heart it takes. When I called I spoke with Donna who quickly relayed to me these apartments aren't for me but spent 10 minutes answering, discussing, and offering valuable opinions on where she would recommend. Donna did not have to spend a second helping me and, especially, giving me valuable advice. In this world where it seems everyone treats each other in a transactional manner it was a blessing to have Donna spend her time to facilitate my choosing an apartment. This tells me she has the heart needed to help older people staying in S8 and is an asset to Lakeside Apartments. God bless you Donna.

I moved in February 2023 and absolutely love living here. It was worth being on waiting list. Management, Donna, has been nothing but helpful, nice and respectful. Maintenance man is awesome as well. I feel safe and it's nice and quiet. The scenery isn't bad either.

A nice enough place to live for older/infirm folks who aren't ready for full assisted living. Amenities are nice - the duck pond is amazing for walks.

I don't know if they accept felons and if they're income based or if they're accepting people based on good oe bad credit if someone could please message me and tell me these answers that would be greatly appreciated.

HUD housing apts for the elderly.. couldn't ask for better location - sits on waterfront of Woodcross Lake; walking distance to Wendy's, Hooters & Applebee's; connected to the 15 miles of trails in Harbison Community; and right across the interstate to all the businesses on Harbison Blvd. All that makes up for harsh Mgmt & lacking maintenance.

It is so beautiful here. Management is no good and seems to not care about the residents here but scenery is on point. Nice ducks which don't attack, hundreds of turtles. Water is nasty so I wouldn't eat any fish that lives here.
