What a great group of staff that take care of these residents. If you are looking for a community that has tenured staff and a feeling of a homey environment, look no further. There is such an intimacy of being in this community. Walking through the front door will make you feel at home.

Brookdale Harbison was very nice. The person during the tour was very patient with answering our questions and concerns. The dining area was very nice. The food looked and smelled delicious, and the servings were an appropriate size. They were doing an exercise class when I visited.

Brookdale Harbison's apartments are much smaller for people who are just looking for independent living. They didn't have anything but a 1-bedroom and they were talking about putting Mom and Dad in a 1-bedroom but that wouldn't work. The staff is friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, and really great. It seems like they had everything you could want. I met a couple of people and they really liked it there. I was surprised that it looked like it was almost brand new and then they told me how long it has been there. It's been kept up really well.

I toured this community for care for my father. I liked the staff who were nice and helpful. I liked that they were able to answer the questions on the care that is available. The community was clean and the menu looked appealing. They do offer activities for the residents. We would suggest that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.
