I posted my review some time ago but felt I needed to update it. My sister was discharged recently but only due to personal family reasons. The Oaks at Salem Road is a wonderful facility that treats their residents with respect and kindness. The staff is excellent and provides great care and fun activities. My sister loved it there and will always have the best memories of her stay. Its can be a difficult decision to place a loved on a facility but The Oaks at Salem Road make it an easy transition and Happy stay for your loved one. My sister is a high functioning special needs individual who can not be alone overnight or prepare her own meals. I was excited to find that Morningside Assisted Living offers respite care and she has had two one week stays there. The staff is professional, caring and she is always happy there. I would highly recommend Morningside for any member of your family. We will definitely continue to use them for our family's needs.

The staff is friendly, courteous and professional. My mother-in-law is happy there and she tells us all the time that we did good finding the Oaks at Old Salem Rd, that she can't find a thing to complain about. That's about the best recommendation for this facility. The residents there are nice and welcoming.

When it was time to move Mom to assisted living I looked at and researched ten places in North and South Caroline. Morningside of Beaufort turned out to be an easy decision. The staff is professional and caring and went out of their way to help me understand what they would do to make Mom welcome and comfortable. Mom is doing very well at Morningside and we couldnt be more pleased

I was impressed with the service they received, so when it was time to put my mother-in-law in a assisted living home I choose morningside because I truly was impressed by the care my parents received. Brooke at morningside was knowledgeable and helpful when I was enrolling my mother-in-law into care. This is why I rated them a 5 star

I have truly enjoyed being able to serve the residents in this community and can always feel the warmth of the staff and attention to detail in all services provided every time I get to make a visit .I was able to witness their team come together seamlessly to evacuate their entire community to safety this hurricane season. The residents here are truly family to the staff and its very clear they are living the highest quality of life through their holistic approach to senior living . Five Stars for this five star property!

Recently my mother made the change to the assisted living lifestyle. After touring a couple of fine facilities, she chose Morningside. The reason? Morningside is a true community. The staff is empathetic, caring and patient. They look after not only the physical needs of their clients but also their social needs. Within a week my mother had fit in perfectly and was excited about the new friends that she had made, the fine foods coming from the kitchen of chef Doctor and his staff and the spacious cozy apartment that she quickly made into a home. I strongly recommend you pay them a visit and take a tour to see for yourself.

Whoever thinks that angels are not among us has never watched the love and care that the residents of Morningside enjoys. From the director to all the staff. They are caring, creative and establish such a wonderful bond with these residents. Having worked in medicine for 39 years I can honestly say that no one tries harder to provide top flight care to these residents, which includes my family member who has been cared for so well. These angels do walk and work among us and beside us and are competent in all they do for these residents. 5 stars in my book

I love this place. I moved my mom down from Michigan and interviewed several places. The folks at Morningside made everything easy. Fantastic staff. Full of caring and always willing to go above and beyond. It truly is a community and my mom is settling in nicely. Thank you Morningside for taking care of my mom and also me!

My dad is at Morningside. It is a warm and welcoming place, the food is excellent....but the staff is the best part! They are a caring and compassionate team that take care of everything. I want to take them all home. I feel like we are family.

Ive been working with Morningside for a few years within two different organizations. I love the welcoming atmosphere I receive from not only the staff but the residents every time I stop in. The staff is knowledgeable about every aspect of their community and is warm and inviting each and every visit. Activities are always going on and everyone seems to enjoy living within such a tight knit community. I highly recommend stopping in for a tour if you are looking for a great assisted living community in the Beaufort area.

One of the things that sets Morningside of Beaufort apart fromthe rest is definitely their team longevity. Ive known the Executive Director, Tammy Siegner for a long time and she has worked there for 14 years. I know that when I begin seeking Assisted Living for my mother, I will choose Morningside. The food is wonderful, the staff are generous, and I feel like part of the family. Dont be afraid to visit — they take the pressure off and make everything easy!

Morningside of Beaufort is a warm, wonderful environment which you can tell from the moment you walk in. The attentive staff are welcoming and helpful. The facility is very clean and comfortable. But the thing that really struck me was the sense of community among the residents. There was a genuine small town feel to the conversations that was unmistakable.

We bring our Therapy Dogs to visit the residents at Morningside twice a month. The staff is always attentive to their needs and the residents seem quite happy and active. I would not hesitate to recommend Morningside to anyone looking for a small, intimate, clean, safe and friendly Assisted Living residence.
