My Mother was a resident at Summit Place for over 2 years until the time of her passing. She was very happy there and made many friends. She was always complimentary of the staff and we felt safe knowing she was being cared for in a professional and compassionate facility. During this difficult year, the staff have gone above and beyond in caring for the residents and helping them deal with life during a pandemic.

Summit Place in Anderson has been and is a blessing to my family. My parents moved to Summit as a couple in the fall of 2014. My mother had onset dementia and my father has macula degeneration of the eyes, he sees everything as a shadow. Together they could function as a whole. They became very comfortable with the facility and the outstanding staff. My mother passed away in 2018 and my father still resides here at Summit. The blessing is that he will say he is treated well and content to be here. He is 94 years old and a World War II vet.

Summit Place is a beautiful, well-maintained and very clean facility. The staff is compassionate and caring and make their residents, the families of residents, and visitors feel right at home. You are greeted with a smile and kindness the minute you enter facility. From the Administrative staff at the front, to Mario and Mark in Maintenance, to Ansley in Dietary and all Nursing and Med Techs you meet in between, there is warmth and love shown by all. And Nicole and Cindy in Activities are phenomenal and will keep your loved ones engaged daily and enrich their lives. If you are looking for a place for your loved one to call home away from home, I highly recommend Summit Place of Anderson.

The staff is very friendly and I love to watch them interact with the residents there. I have had more than one of the residents tell me when I would come to do the Bible studies on Thursdays and some Sundays, that it actually felt like home. I was surprised at how many activities they do and how busy they stay.You can tell the atmosphere when you walk in is that of love and caring. I so enjoyed going over there and miss it now due to this crazy virus. Hopefully one day I will be able to go back. They all treated me so well and were so friendly. I have recommended some of my older friends that have needed care to the Summit Place.

The atmosphere at Summit Place is a calm, friendly, and caring one. Our family are so thankful to know our Mom is being taken care of by all the staff and caretakers there. When we could visit inside, way back when, I met alot of Moms friends and got to know them as well, as extended family. This past years challenges have been tough but the staff has gone above and beyond to try and keep activities going and the residents comfortable while kept inside safe. After visiting all the local assisted living facilities, Mom and our family feel like she made an excellent choice in Summit Place!

Summit Place has been a blessing for me and my loved one through this most difficult time; They have maintained strict safety protocols through the COVID crisis, all while continuing to professionally, patiently and lovingly care for my Mom, plus being very responsive and patient with my own concerns-questions. My mother needing assisted living care, followed relatively quickly by the COVID-19 pandemic has been extremely distressing and troubling for our family. One thing I have been thankful for is that we found her such a comfortable, kind and attentive home as Summit Place. I cannot thank them or recommend them enough!

Both in-laws moved here as a couple over 5 years ago. Mom passed and Father remains there. It continues to be a safe and secure environment where staff is caring, friendly, helpful and compassionate. Dad is well cared for and has enjoyed his new home and appreciates the extras they help him with (legally blind and wears hearing aids).

Wonderful Facility!!! The Staff at Summit Place go out of their way to accommodate families that cant visit their loved ones at the moment due to Covid-19. They set up scheduled facetime calls so that you still get the regular communication. On the other side they are giving great care to the residents like as if they are their own family. This is comforting to know when family cant be there.

Nicole at Summit Place set up FaceTime so my sister could visit with her siblings. Even when she was briefly moved to another facility, we were still able to FaceTime. I so appreciate that extra care. They take pictures and do her hair and she enjoys the food and activities.

I would like to say a big thanks for the work Nicole is doing; about every 3 weeks she arranges a phone call between my Dad (Alvin J.) and myself and her great personality helps to facilitate a very nice call with my Dad. I really appreciate the time she takes and the coordination she does to make the phone call happen. And I would also like to compliment all the other folks at Summit Place for the great care they provide each day to my Dad. He has been there over 5 years and is very pleased with Summit Place.

A little over 5 months ago my mother became a resident of Summit Place. It was an extremely difficult decision to move my mother especially in the middle of the Covid 19 epidemic. The management staff assured me that they and the entire staff were doing everything possible to ensure the health and safety of all the residents. They made my Moms transition process so easy for all of us. I have dealt with many staff members and they always go out of their way to answer any questions and help solve any issues. The daily activities are wonderful. During the holidays Summit Place went above and beyond for their residents.They had special dinners, sing-a-longs, gifts, and lots of decorations. Having all of this was so important to the residents moral as their lockdown remained in effect. Moving my mother into Summit Place was the best thing I could have done as she is safe, secure, and extremely well cared for!

Summit Place offers various levels of assisted living with a staff that is always willing to take that extra step. They care and it shows in all they do. The staff always seems like theyre having fun and really enjoy working together. These are definitely qualities that I was looking for as I was researching my options. I also love that there are several different activities available, depending on individual interests. I think my favorite activity is the arm chair travel, where they use YouTube or DVDs from the library, to visit new places. Since the arrival of COVID-19, Ive been impressed with the staffs ability to maintain efforts to keep everything clean and sanitized, all while keeping the residents safe. Initially, I worried about how I would be able to visit or communicate but with the use of Facebook Calls, Skype, etc. weve been able to see each other and speak often. Gotta love technology!!! If you are searching for a place that feels like HOME yet provides that extra bit of help, look no further! Summit Place of Anderson IS that place.

I feel like this is the best assisted living in Anderson. They have been awarded this award two years in a row. The staff are exceptionally caring and helpful. I never have to worry about my grandmother being taken care of. The staff goes the extra mile for all of the residents. Now, my grandmother calls it Home If you need help with your loved one, I strongly suggest Summit Place. The management staff are very professional, helpful and sympathetic. Summit Place has been my answered prayer.

The staff is absolutely amazing, my father loved his time there. It broke my heart that dad had to go into an assisted living facility, but knowing he was happy, made me feel so much more comfortable. Unfortunately, my dad only lasted 3 months, and the day that he passed, everyone at the facility showed us so much comfort. Would highly recommend!!

My mother is at Summit Place of Anderson and we have experienced nothing but the best service. The staff seems to really care about her and we feel like family. My mother enjoys sitting on the porch and visiting with the other residents and the staff is as attentive while they are on the porch as when they are inside. We have not had any concerns while she has been there. The care starts with the director and flows to all the other staff. I have any witnessed management staff providing care. It's an amazing place and I'm so thankful we decided on Summit Place. My mother calls it "home" I appreciate all they do and all the love they show to the residents.
