I typically do not take the time to write reviews, but I would be remiss to not pass along the top notch experience my brother and I had with finding an assisted living facility for our mom at The Bridge at Cherry Hill in Johnston, RI. Our mom was living alone in Maryland when we realized she was in need of an assisted living facility. We started the process of looking for places in RI and Upstate NY near family. My brother called The Bridge at Cherry Hill for a meeting/tour. He met with Maryann and was extremely impressed with her, the facility, available activities, and the care team. We decided that this facility would be the ideal fit for our mom, so I reached out to the admissions/sales director Michael to get the process started. From the first phone call I knew Michael had our mom's best interest in mind. He was extremely caring and knowledgeable. That same day he put the admissions packet in the mail and followed up a few days later to ensure I received it and to see if I had any questions with filling it out. He was very responsive to any and all questions which made things very easy. I sent the completed packet back to him and we started the process to get her approved and into an apartment. Unfortunately a couple of days later our mom had a stroke. She was in a skilled nursing facility in Delaware for her recovery. The whole time she was in the hospital Michael would check in periodically to see how she was doing. He coordinated her transfer into Cherry Hill Manor Skilled Nursing Facility, so we could get her up to RI. He managed everything to the point that all I had to do was contact her case manager in Delaware to get a few forms and clinical notes sent. The process took only a couple of days. She spent a couple of weeks in the skilled nursing for rehab until she was healthy enough to transfer to The Bridge. Everything was done for us. Care team meetings, paperwork, medical insurance submissions, etc... they even found a local Primary Care Manager (which she happens to like very much) and set her up with an appointment. The move-in went well and she is enjoying the food (and yes, she can be picky), activities, and other residents. The facility is great and the staff have been very responsive to her needs. We know she will do very well there. Some may think this is all just standard customer service, but everyone has gone well above and beyond our expectations and we could not be more pleased. In addition to Michael and Maryann, I want to mention Amy, the Resident Coordinator, Audrey her nurse, Carolyn her PT, and Sadie the Concierge for their extra assistance as well. We are so happy that we found such a good place for our mom where the staff are so attentive and truly care about the welfare of their residents.

The Bridge is a beautiful community to live and work! I feel very fortunate to come to work here every day, it truly feels like a second home. The staff here (my coworkers) are so helpful and work well together as a team. We collectively care about the residents’ well being and enjoy our jobs. I believe this makes not only for a great place to work, but a very enjoyable place to live! And of course I have to mention that the residents are just the sweetest.

The bridge at Cherry Hill is an amazing place for you family member to kick back and relax and call home. The staff is friendly, and extremely caring and very quick to respond to the needs of the residents! Everything is perfect from when you call the front desk, right down to the food that is served. If you are looking for a Senior Living Community for your loved one, The Bridge at Cherry Hill is a wonderful choice. They are conveniently located in Johnston, RI, close to highways, shopping, churches and restaurants. The building is warm and inviting. It is staffed with a group of individuals who care for the building and its residents as if all were guests in their own home. The chef is very talented, and the food is delicious! The staff work hard to keep the building healthy, happy, active and the atmosphere inviting. Please make it a point to visit if you are searching for the right spot to call home. Ask for Jen Burns, take a tour... you will be glad you did!

When searching for the best place for my parents I walked into the Bridge and it felt like home. My first meeting with Mayanne Grace and Nurse Pat was informative and friendly.. and at that moment I knew it was the right place. ALL the staff are the kindest most caring people. The word RESPECT stands out. All the workers respect the residents and their families immensely. They are always there to listen and take care of the residents with genuine kindness. My family is SO grateful for the everyday care we received. Great place.

Had a great tour of the facility with Jen Burns and was able to see all the benefits they have to offer to our elderly. I also had lunch there and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and selection that was served right out of there cafeteria. They had just completed renovations and the common areas and living areas were beautiful. I couldnt say enough about how pleasant their staff is and the care that this place offers.To anyone that is looking and comparing facilities, I would strongly encourage to add this to your list and speak with Jen on what they can do to help.

First and for most ,the care is excellent. the area is very clean, the facility itself .My mom was there for nine months,she spent the last nine months of her life enjoying. it. I always felt at ease when I would leave at nightI knew her meds were taken correctly an cared for at all times.i would call there all the time to ck on her and they were always caringat first I was uneasy doing this but due to my health I had no choice. I know now that the last 9 months she enjoyed. I love this place andeveryone who works there...... they are a 5 facility. My mom was treated with love and kindness, if you are thinking about this dont hesitate.The Bridge @ cherry hill is a great place...I speak with experience, love it ..Marie Ricci

The Bridge treated our Dad with dignity and respect and enhanced his quality of life. He was always clean and well groomed and the staff were very kind to him. In addition, the nursing staff kept us informed at all times of our Dads condition. I would highly recommend The Bridge as a placement for a loved one.

I live 7 hours away from my Mom at the Bridge. I have found the Executive Director, the Head of Wellness and the aides and staff to be incredibly attentive to my Moms needs. From time to time, there have been health challenges, and they were all handled professionally with The Bridge being a wonderful advocate for my Mom. The facility is incredibly clean, which is something I appreciate, as does my Mom. I can sleep well knowing that she is there.

Ive toured this facility several times through professional and networking events, and they do a tremendous job putting together a warm & engaging atmosphere for residents. Extremely pleasant staff, great social spaces, even a pool table!

After a couple of falls and trips to the hospital we finally decided my mom needed more care than we could give her at home. With my mom moving to The Bridge its just what she needed. The outstanding STAFF is the best I have ever seen and truly care about the residents. I never have to worry about my moms meds because the Wellness staff takes care of giving them to her. They even have a Chef who prepares delicious meals and celebrates special occasions for them.........the Servers are also very kind. Its such a relief knowing that my mom doesnt have to go in her basement to do laundry because the Housekeeping staff takes care of that and also does the cleaning in her studio apartment. The Maintenance department are always available and happy to help if needed. The Activity Director keeps the residents busy with many activities and outings so they are never bored and includes everyone! My mom has also made many new friends and its comforting to me that shes not alone just watching TV. I have to admit that it was a difficult transition for me but Maryann Grace the General Manager and Jen Burns the Sales Director helped and answered the many questions I had. Thanks again to the STAFF.......you all hold a special place in my heart for the hard work you all do! I would name you all but afraid I would leave someone out!
