I just wanted to leave a review, expressing my gratitude towards The Gardens at Stevens and their staff. My father’s health has been declining and after many hospital stays, we knew it was time for him to enter a facility that could help meet his round the clock needs. I toured several places and felt anxious as I couldn’t find the right one. I then stumbled upon the Gardens at Stevens and got a nice tour from Mary Ellen, who was so kind and explained everything so thoroughly and made me feel comfortable. Within 24 hours, my dad was able to move in. It was an emotional time for Dad and I, as I was his only caretaker for so long. I cannot express enough that the staff showed so much love that it made the transition so much easier. It didn’t take long until Dad adjusted to his new environment and started laughing and making new friends. He loves the food there too which is a plus. I will admit he is not an easy person to take care of, so I am very impressed with how the staff knows how to take care of and connect with all patients with different personalities and needs. I am still learning all of the staff’s names, but Shelby was the first person who welcomed us on move-in day. I will never forget when she put her hand on mine and said don’t worry you can just be his daughter now we will take care of him. Sue has gone out of her way to buy Ice cream just to make my dad smile. Same with Holly, always going above and beyond. Two gentlemen caregivers who Both share the name Chris, have the most upbeat personalities, and are always smiling and making jokes with my dad, lifting his spirits. The social worker named Eve is really cool and down to earth, she has helped me through a lot during this transition as well. As I am still learning everybody’s names, I can say every single Caregiver and nurse has made an impression and I give them all a thumbs up. I know this is a long review, but in case another person out there like me who was anxious about placing their father, whether it’s for skilled care, personal care or physical therapy, you can rest assure they will be taken care of here. My mother just recently passed on at this facility. Although she could be a handful at times do to severe Dementia. The staff was very caring and compassionate. Any situation that occurred i was promptly notified. The day she passed there wasn't a dry eye in the house. And the sympathy was truly felt by myself and family

I recently had the opportunity to tour The Gardens at Stevens, and I came away with a really positive impression. The facility was clean, welcoming, and had a calm, comfortable atmosphere. The staff I encountered were friendly and seemed genuinely engaged with the residents. I especially want to recognize, Mary Ellen. She was absolutely wonderful during the tour, very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She took her time explaining everything, answered all of my questions, and made me feel at ease throughout the visit. You can tell she truly cares about the residents and their families. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would feel confident recommending The Gardens at Stevens to anyone looking for quality care in a supportive environment.

Over the years, I’ve seen this nursing home continuously raise the bar in both care and communication. What really stands out is how dedicated they’ve been to building a strong core staff who truly care about the residents. The consistency of familiar, compassionate faces creates a real sense of trust and comfort for both residents and families. Communication has improved tremendously, the staff actively engages with outside vendors to ensure quality services are being delivered, and updated to make sure concerns are heard and addressed quickly. That openness makes such a difference and helps build peace of mind. The quality of care has also grown steadily. From medical attention to daily support, you can tell the team takes pride in providing not just care, but thoughtful, personalized attention. They treat residents with dignity and respect, which is exactly what you hope for in a place like this. Everyone is human and they aren’t perfect but they are actively trying. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a small community willing to listen, and that cares.

I got the pleasure of walking this quaint little healthcare facility with some of its incredible staff. It’s pressed up against a farm with lots of open space and a peaceful quiet. It’s a small facility but one of the cleanest I’ve ever entered into. The staff was attentive to the patients in all areas of the building; skilled nursing, rehabilitation and personal care. It’s one of the first facilities I have visited where patients weren’t lined in the halls in wheel chairs, unattended to. The nurses and administrators were caring towards all of their residences and I overheard several conversations where they sounded like old friends chatting over coffee. There was even laughter in the halls. While the building may have a history, there is a homelike feeling filling its halls.
