UPDATE to original post: It is now almost 1.5 years later, and our Dad still thoroughly enjoys his care and staff at CV in Shpg. As his family, we too are still very pleased with the care he receives, plus knowing he's safe is our #1 priority. Dad took 2 falls lately & with the push of his button (lanyard), he had help there in no time, which we are SO grateful for !!! We highly recommend CV of Shpg. The staff are great, the food is wonderful & Dad is happy ! Life is good . (Original post) Our father has been at Shpg Villa for about 6 months now. Myself & family couldn't be happier with the care & attention he receives. He loves all the meals they serve. His laundry is washed as needed & hung back up. His trash is removed daily & bed clothes changed on a regular schedule, plus his bed is made daily. Dad hasn't warmed up to participating in any of the many activities/crafts/ events the Villa offers, but he definitely enjoys the monthly Men's Breakfast outing as well as the outing for ice cream. If food is involved, he's game ! "ALL" of the Villa staff are super nice, help you with any questions you have, fix any problem you may encounter and most importantly always greet you with a smile. We are a very happy family & highly recommend Celebration Villa of Shippensburg !

We all have to face placing a loved one in an assisted living facility someday, finding the right place is always hard. A Place for Mom had recommended Celebration Villa, and another nursing facility when we needed to place our mom into a nursing's facility immediately. My husband contacted both, Brandy the office manager at Celebration Villa reached out to my husband within the hour to set up a tour of the facility later that afternoon. As soon as we entered for our tour that afternoon we felt like home! Brandy could see how upsetting this was for our family, she was very supportive, and offered us reassurance throughout the tour Celebration Villa has been our mom's home for the past 3 months, and we could not be any happier! Hailey, Brittany Nicole and Cory to name a few and all staff treat mom like she is their own mother and even refer to her as mom The dining staff is wonderful, always happy to substitute items out for mom if she doesn't like what's in the menu. We also the love how we can dine with our mom at anytime! Whenever we have a question, I am able to call Hailey, LPN any time of the day, if in the evenings one of the other nursing staff will call Hailey for us. We've had a few in incidents with mom falling, Hailey has immediately called us told us what happened and what form of treatment was needed. Celebration Villa was the best choice we made for mom, we highly recommend placing your loved one there when it does become their time to have 24 hour care

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the day I moved my mom, Margie, into Celebration Villa of Shippensburg, and I honestly see this day as a moment to truly celebrate that she has thrived over this last year in all ways beyond any growth that she had made (or didn't make) in prior years since 2019. Her level and quality of care by the Director, Nursing staff, Medical Technicians, Dining Services, and many other folks who service the community has been exceedingly delivered and I appreciate what everyone there has done for her and with her. Most notable for her/me has been the sincere kindness that has been shown to her/us in all respects. I want to say THANK YOU to everyone at Celebration Villa of Shippensburg for a fantastic year in her/our life.

He said the kitchen staff could use more help, but other than that he said everything is fine (which is a high compliment from him)! I've eaten lunch with him a few times and the food is pretty good. He really enjoys the numerous activities offered. Everyone, from the executive director to the cleaning crew, really tries to get to know and interact with the residents and their families. I feel very welcome there and they go above and beyond to make the residents feel at home. I am so glad that my dad has a wonderful place to be. I hope it will always stay that way. Thank you for a positive experience!

I started working at Celebration Villa when I just graduated high school in 2017. I worked as a caregiver on the floor while going through nursing school. I absolutely loved working there. In 2018, I graduated nursing school and went on to work elsewhere. Since leaving, I have never felt the feeling I had at Celebration Villa. It’s such a family feeling, and I always feel at home every time I walk in. Fast forward to 2023, and I am finally back where I belong, as the assistant director of nursing. I am so glad to be back at the place I love the most.

Celebration Villa of Shippensburg PA has been phenomenal! We were in a situation where we needed to move my parent from a rehab facility to an assisted living/personal care facility in a short time window. Nicole Smith, Director of Sales and Marketing, responded quickly with setting us up for a tour, picking my parent up at their location and providing a tour, lunch and activities. The entire staff has bent over backwards to make sure our family was comfortable with our decision and getting everything needed to make move-in as smooth as possible. Celebration Villa is easily accessible, bright, clean and friendly from the staff to all the residents. Nicole, Jennifer, Brittanay, Melissa you are all WONDERFUL! My parents were here for almost 3 years. Excellent staff, very personable and caring. It is a small community so the staff really gets to know each and every resident. No one gets lost in the shuffle here, like they did in another much bigger assisted living facility. No elevators to deal with, no stairs and no huge noisy dining rooms. Entire staff went above and beyond for the care. I highly recommend.

I am a nurse with high standards. Both my parents have lived at Celebrations over the last 4 years. My dad passed in 2020 and my mom passed last week. I have only excellent things to say about this facility and staff. They were treated like Kings and Queens! Their physical needs were more than met and so were their social, mental and emotional needs. Everyone was friendly and caring and often went above and beyond to care for our parents. A rare find in this day! Thank You Celebrations for doing what we as a family could not physically do and doing it well.

MY MOTHER HAS BEEN IN THIS FACILITY SINCE 2O20 . IT'S A GREAT ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY. MOM SEEMS VERY COMFORTABLE WITH HER ROOM, AND THE LEVEL OF CARE SHE IS GETTING .VERY NICE STAFF, AND THE QUALITY OF MEALS ARE VERY GOOD!! They had a wonderful Easter event there this year! The kids loved it! The residents seemed to really enjoy being with the kiddos and getting to interact with them. My sister is the Director of Nursing there and she does a fantastic job with the residents, their families, and the staff. She goes above and beyond to make sure your loved ones are taken care of and that her staff are appreciated! An overall great place!

Celebration Villa of Shippensburg is such a wonderful assisted living. The caregivers truly care for their residents and go above and beyond for them which I get to see first hand. Residents love all the activities and entertainment. I get to hear the positive feed back from the residents also. Again, the care for the residents is outstanding . The staff interact is if they are family and all are approachable with any needs/concerns. It is a perfect community to transition to to be cared and perfect team to join.

My father moved in last year and he is the happiest he has been in years! He has positive relationships with so many of the staff members. They are very attentive to his needs and have gone out of their way to get to know him. The Director of Nursing is always helpful and quick to respond when I have questions about his care. I took my kids to the Easter egg hunt and they really enjoyed it! Then a couple weeks we went for the drive in Grease movie event and had such a good time. The staff are are friendly and nice! It was so nice to see the residents enjoying themselves!

My parents have been living at Elmcroft for over six months now. They offer a great community, good food, and reasonable prices. The staff work hard to treat the residents with respect and kindness; everyone from custodians to manager are completely accessible and open to suggestions. Attention is always personal, and has an air of that small town amicability. Seasonal special events are regularly planned. The employees deal calmly with the difficult and occasionally awkward situations that sometimes arise with residents experiencing dementia. The building is not gigantic, but well kept and spacious. Unlike several other nearby places, I never got the sense that my parents were viewed as just another source of revenue to be aggressively milked for whatever they had, where every little extra is added to the bill...a lot of nice little touches are thrown in for free or at a very nominal cost. If you are looking for a reasonably priced assisted living community that appears to put people first, and is willing to go that extra mile or two to take care of your loved ones, I highly recommend Elmcroft.

Elmcroft of Shippensburg is an incredible facility! The staff are always caring, willing to do anything that needs done as soon as it is asked - it constantly amazes me! And special kudos to the management for being so fantastic. Not only are they willing to look into & fix any issue that might arise, but they hired some of the best people in this area to work for them. Both staff & residents are a second family to all who meet them, the atmosphere inside the facility is constantly warm & friendly, the activities are phenomenal, I could go on & on! Elmcroft of Shippensburg is a wonderful place to live and work! I have worked there for 3+ years now and have enjoyed my time there. We have a great staff that absolutely love their residents like their own family and work hard to ensure that they are very well taken care of. It truly is a great home away from home for both the residents and the staff. There isn't a day that I don't enjoy when caring for the residents!
