I moved here in May, 2023 and just enjoyed my first Christmas away from my home. I have a 2 bedroom, two bath apartment which I share with my two Therapy Dogs, Darcy and Penny. This was the best decision of my life at a time I felt isolated and sad. The residents and staff welcomed me with open arms and my children spent time with me over this holiday. I am busy with my community, church and Woman's Club activities and I am looking forward to remaining active with our pool and exercise room. I haven't cooked a meal since I moved in -love the food service here. Stop by and visit this beautiful campus.

I personally have a hard time getting adjusting, but it all takes time,i am sure it will come in time,I enjoy the ammenities and love the apt.,view wildlife,flowers and scienic areas in surrounding places.

We have lived at The Heritage for almost 4 years. This was the correct decision and the correct choice for us. There are so many social activities in which to participate. There are so many friendly, caring people to be involved with everyday. The staff is outstanding. The food is delicious. The first Friday of every month there is a band and buffet dinner which turns out to be a barrel of laughs and lots of fun. Anytime you have 4 or more people interested in an activity The heritage will provide a bus. We just went to an Oak Ridge Boys concert. That was followed by visiting the Galeb Glenn Winery for wine and cheese tasting. Cheryl Anderson, the Activities director was able to secure tickets for a Philadelphia Phillies baseball game so we filled the bus. On-site there are doctors, nurses, hairdressers, massage therapist, dermatologist, and physical therapist. If an individual is unable to function independently we have the newly opened person care facility. Without a doubt, this is the place to spend your retirement years.

We visited many retirement communities in the pre-covid era however we kept coming back to the Heritage for additional visits because we enjoyed the warmth and genuine sense of community among the residents and staff. In addition to the many amenities we were looking for we were extremely impressed with the quality of the food and the staff that prepared and served it. When we finally made the decision to move, we chose the Heritage. Since we have moved into the Heritage, we have not been disappointed. We have not had a meal we did not like. The food is great, and menu is varied. The residents and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We continue to meet interesting people. You will never eat alone unless you want to. Lou & Terry

Looked into this place over a year ago now for my grandparents. Made the decision as a family that this was hands down the best place that they would enjoy the most. Theyve now lived here for over a year and they cant find a single thing to complain about. The staff are great and they provide plenty of services that werent offered elsewhere. If there are openings here and you are curious, I 100% recommend scheduling a showing, tour of the place.

My husband and I recently moved to the Heritage and we are delighted with our decision. We took full advantage of the relocation services offered and as a result our preparation and actual move were much less stressful than anticipated. Our apartment is cozy comfortable and quite adequate for our needs.We have been warmly welcomed by residents, management and staff. The profusion of activities and amenities appears endless. We still have much to explore and enjoy. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Every day we look forward to meals in our tavern and beautiful dining room as we continue to make new friends and also entertain old friends and family in our new community.Marie Haux

She continues to enjoy excellent food service (truly restaurant quality), and is excited to be back in the dining area with her closest friends.Mom came here already knowing many of the residents, and continued to make great new friends. They have all weathered this storm together. And, the staff is doing their best to make sure they are not isolated from family. We are happy to have the opportunity to visit with her in the safety of the outdoor tent, but also cant wait to give her a hug once again, hopefully soon.She is safe. She is happy. She is with friends. And the staff has handled this trying time very well given the suddenness of all of the changes. She appreciates that. So do I.

I have lived at The Heritage of Green Hills for more than 6 years. I have been very happy here. Everyone is very friendly. I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. I used to have a dog and a cat, but now I have only a dog named Bentley. I have had a few surgeries since I have been here and have had great help from the nurses and the food service (who delivers your meals for free if you are sick). I really like the pool. I show the film on Tuesday nights. The food here is really great, and there are lots of choices! There are many other nice things I could say about the Heritage. Come and check it out for yourself.

As a long time resident of The Heritage of Green Hills, I have had a lot of experiences in my choice of senior community living. There are opportunities for committee involvement along with great educational and fun trips. The residents are very friendly, the staff is very helpful, and they have the best food plan around. As my husband always says of The Heritage, it is an easy place to live.

My aunt has been at Heritage of Green Hills for 5 years, and recently moved to Green Hills Manor. She really enjoyed her time at Heritage, and family and friends enjoyed the delicious meals. Now that she needs more care, were all so grateful that Green Hills Manor is a part of the community. The staff are all wonderful and caring, my aunt is very happy there.

My experience as a visitor to The Heritage, with many friends who live there, is that it is the best of the best in retirement community living. Everything from the community room with its lovely fireplace and pub-like atmosphere, to the very high quality of food at the dining rooms, the attractive activities centers, the many programs in which to get involved, the awesome pool with a view, the quality of the apartments, and the wonderful sense that people enjoy one another as neighbors with genuine love make me want to retire there when the time comes! If only there was a skilled nursing center!

There are many reasons for anyone to choose this full service community as a place to live. For example, the place is decorated with a touch of class. its clean, nice and comfortable. The Staff, goes over and beyond their duties to see that your individual needs are met. I have come to know a lot of residents there, you can tell they are happy living there. The residents are warm, caring and pleasant to be with. I feel like the residents at The Heritage of Green Hills is an extension of my family. Another nice detail about this place. The food, OMG, the food is delicious,we all need nourishment, why not have the best nourishment we can have! The apartments Ive seen, go from your basic to big, with warm colors to make you feel at home. I also noticed the residents help one another, they bond together, play games, maybe meet up for lunch or join activities together. Really your never alone or feel helpless. Im not sure if many know this, but the Seniors do so much to help many organizations outside their community on so many levels. This place in itself in not just any full service senior community, its a active community that is working together inside and out. Im so glad to know everybody at the Heritage is safe and enjoying life to the fullest. These are the reasons why I would recommend The Heritage of Green Hills!

Very active community. Residents are very friendly. Staff is also very friendly and helpful too. All meals are delicious! Positive move for my husband and me. He is now free to walk around independently and enjoys the socialization. There is really NOTHING we are not happy about living here.

I have been a resident here at the Heritage for over four years, and have found endless comfort and support in the caring staff and from my fellow residents. From the house keeping to the therapists, the Heritage has always provided me the opportunity to live a happy and care free life in even the toughest of times. Even simple things like being able to exercise in the pool and depend on friends to get my meals for me, all add to the wonderful experience I have had and will continue to have through my time here at the Heritage.

I am a four year resident and I want to comment on a wonderful meal we had last night. There was a choice between lobster tail or a beef fillet. This was a special meal and it was wonderful, from the great service by the dining room staff thru the preparation and presentation of the meal.The food is always good, both quality and selection. We are very happy living here.

Over the past several years I have visited quite a few independent living facilities, trying to decide which one would be the most feasible for me when I would be ready to make the move. From my very first visit, I found The Heritage of Green Hills to be that place. As I was being introduced to different areas of the community, my encounters with the residents were nothing but friendly and helpful. The same applies to those who are in charge of their respective departments; they continuously reach out to help those who have questions or may need assistance in anyway. I also enjoy sitting by the fireplace and I find the food at the Tavern and Brandywine Restaurants to be very appealing. Since the day I moved here, I have felt very much at home and I look forward to many good years ahead.
