I’ve been here since January and my stay here has been great . The nursing team has been great. Also therapy they are the heart of the facility. The truly care for each other patients. Sylvester the housekeeping director always goes out his way to help me and get me anything I need . Annette has been my nurse and she always so kind and caring . Things could be a little more timely but I do appreciate all that they do . Kareema is such a great aide to me and my roommate. I appreciate the whole team here at Logan Square Rehab . Rehab great CNA NOT SO GREAT

My dad moved here last month from another rehab/nursing facility and this is night and day. The staff is incredible. Dean in PT is so wonderful. Raina and the entire activities team goes above and beyond to ensure the patients are engaged. The patient to staff ratio is high and the rooms are well maintained. We’ve had a great experience so far.

Dont loose your hard earned money unnecessarily. Reach out to a professional team today. Do remember to mention me as your referral so I can earn my bonus. One good turn deserves another, right? After a fall I was taken to Jefferson Hospital. I temporarily lost my memory. The hospital was able to contact my daughter in Australia and she came to Philadelphia and found Watermark for me. I was first taken to the 8th floor in their Assisted living portion of the building but after a number of years there I was upgraded to Independent Living and that is where I now live on the 17th floor with a great view of the Logan Square [a circle with a fountain in the center] There are a lot of activities available for the residents, somewhat less during the Pandemic. And the food is great, the only menu item I dont like is the skate, fortunately we dont get that too often. I love it here and I will stay for the rest of my life, probably going back to Assisted living, the final stop for us all. But I have the experience, lived there before!

Watermark is a great place to work at, at least for me. I missed the time when I was working with the dining people. My boss was a great person. She had been very supportive to us. The foods there were always high quality and consistent.

My care at The Watermark for rehabilitation after my surgery was a welcomed experience. When I arrived I was greeted by Director of Nursing Kathy Aleszczyk with a caring attitude that I needed being in pain and a lil nervous. She was so sweet she made sure I was given dinner and let me know where her office was if I needed anything. The staff introduced themselves as they came in the room. The next day I met the Administrator Mr. David Attwood who took the time to listen to my concerns as my surgical wound was painful. David and Kathy made sure my stay was comfortable. David was kind enough to stop what he was doing each time I had a question or concern. I wish I could name all the nurses and assisting nurses that made sure I received water, juice and crakers. One of them was Donna Rae if Im not mistaken and the Nurse who helped me in distress one afternoon when Transport brought me back. She helped me get cleaned up and out of a wheelchair after an embaressing accident. She (I think her name is Annette) let me cry it out while she calmed me down with kindness and understanding. I could go on and on about my treatment with the PT staff Dean very patient and the OT lady, giving me something warm to ware for a Transport one morning she was awesome helping me in the mornings. I must mention the Socialwork lady who went the extra mile making sure my stay was without worry. Bottom line I would recommed The Watermark at Logan Square to patients in need of care to be treated here and wish them all the best! ☺

The Watermark at Logan Square has an Administrator named David who is AWESOME! Every single time I called with him a concern he was on it immediately! In knowing that he is definitely dealing with other facility issues that are more critical then the things I was calling him for during these trying times (corona pandemic); he made his business to immediately do exactly what he said he would do handle the issue at hand. Thank you again David for providing me and my family with the support we needed; YOURE THE BEST!!

Our community is a wonderful place to live.My husband and I moved here about 3 years ago.We both enjoyed the food ,made new friends, loved the movies and so many other activities.MY husband passed away 1 year ago, getting used to his not being here with me could have been so very lonely.Of course I miss him,but my friends here and keeping busy has eased my being alone.. It;s never boring,so much to do.places to go,things to see-or just relax and read ,play board games ect... Life is what you make it.And I intend to enjoy mine here . (I just wish the food wasn't so good)

Be YOU! Want your houseplant garden in the hallway? A plaque or sign outside your front door? I have both. Management and visitors alike welcome them. You don’t have to shop, plan, cook or cleanup for anyone – hardly even for yourself. Thrive in all you can do with the time and energy those duties used to take. And enjoy all the varied and delicious food you want. Be part of an intelligent, cultured and warm community at Watermark and at the same time be different – if you want to be. Feel safe – you are. Go on free trips near and far, for the arts and intellect, parks and beaches, exercise and fun, restaurants and more. Medical care is a click away. Both our executive director and primary doctor are responsive, thorough and lovable (emailing a comment or criticism to Director Jennifer Tapner usually brings a cogent response almost before you think she has read your message). Giant windows to the outside on all sides afford views of the ever-evolving cityscape and always changing sky.

There are many positive reasons to be happy living at the Watermark at Logan Square; e.g. the location is excellent; food is delicious; friendly staff and residents; so many interesting events and things to do and take part in; wonderful trips with bus service provided by the Watermark; doctor is in the building; medical tests are provided here, etc. I am very happy that I have made the decision to make the Watermark my home.

I haave lived at The Watermark for eight years. My moving in was . based on the fact that there were 7 museums in walking distance At the age of 95 I can no longer walk to these museums; instead I can take the Watermark loop bus (FREE!) The Watermark has lived up to my expectations in many ways - my spacious apartment, good food, interesting activities and a great variety of people, not to mention available health service 24 hours a day. I heartily recommend it.

I still love living my stress-less life at the Watermark and you can reference my last review of 8 months past to learn why.. The reason I write this review is to share with you a recent television segment on the "Art of Aging" which was shown on Channel 6, ABC. Channel 6 sent their camera crew here to the Watermark to shoot the segment. You can see this segment simply by going to Google and enter Channel 6, ABC/The Art of Aging" I hope you enjoy viewing it, as much I did being part of it. Dee Levin

My Mom has lived in independent living at the Watermark for six years. I think the WM is a great place for those in independent living. The apartments are beautiful (although maintenance when needed is often hard to come by) and the staff for the most part are great. If you/your loved one are able to take advantage of the activities offered, it is great. However, if your loved one needs a higher level of care this may not be the best place. My Mom has been able to stay independent living because we privately hire staff to support her. Assisted living is not nearly as well staffed as it needs to be (for what people are paying they should be offered more than minimum licensing requirements) and skilled nursing is even worse. Jennifer Tapner the executive director is extremely responsive in almost all situations. The constant increases in rent are ridiculous.

In a few months, it will be five stress-less, wonderful years living at the Watermark and this could be you. I say stress-less and wonderful because the residents here have whatever one needs or desires to have this kind of life. Let me elaborate: the quality of our food and the dining experience is given a 95-58% approval by our residents. Can't get better than that. Our apartments are cleaned, linens changed and beds made once a week. Less work for mother. Security is round the clock, so we feel safe and protected. A very good feeling. A doctor, podiatrist, dermatologist, audiologist, dentist, etc. are in the building and a nurse is available twenty-four seven. Hospitals are stone throw away. Hopefully you won't need these services, but it's good to know they are here. If I start tell you about the abundant diversified in house activities we have, it would take the entire page. Add to that our off site excursions to "wherever we want to go" and you realize we are kept busy all the time if we wish it. Or, just stay in our apartments and cuddle up with a good book. WE MAKE OUR CHOICES.. We are centrally located, convenient to museums, parks, restaurants and a ten minute ride to the theaters, Kimmel Center and the Academy of Music. Our Watermark bus takes us to downtown shopping, dropping us off and picking us up at every Septa stop starting at 9:30 AM. It's nice to have lunch and shop and not have to drive. Residents here, carve out the life style they enjoy. Some go to NYC for lunch and to see a show, some have taken cruises and vacations together and others attend classes a OLLI. That is OLLI Life Long Learning which is held in Temple University' center city campus. (and of coarse our bus takes us there and brings us home.) There is much, much more that I can write, but I would rather you see for yourself. So come pay us a visit. I am Chairperson of the Welcoming Committee and it would b my pleasure to introduce YOU to a stress-less wonderful life.

I have been in this industry for 12 years and I’ve worked at The Watermark at Logan Square for two years. This review isn’t to sell the Watermark; but more about why I love my job. I live in Center City and I have a wonderful group of friends. We’re all around 60 years old and we’ve already planned that we will one day live at the Watermark to keep our fabulous city lifestyle going. I take The Watermark’s monthly activity list home for my friends to plan for our own activities; we end up doing many of the same things the residents do! The daily activities The Watermark offers are incredible; the theater, ballet, orchestra, art museum, trips to Longwood Gardens and the list goes on! The food is delectably delicious (I love to eat!) and our shuttle bus makes transportation convenient.

My experience with the Watermark has been positive. My brother and sister in law have lived in an independent apartment for 10 months. Initially my sister in law was in the rehab until she could live independently. Presently my brother is in the rehab following a hospital stay. His care in rehab has been quite satisfactory. He is getting very good care from the nurses. My only complaint is that they don’t have enough nurses/aides employed. The nursing supervisor was quite helpful when I consulted with her. The OTs and PTs have been excellent with their services to him. We had a good consultation meeting shortly after he was admitted in the rehab to determine what course to follow regarding his care plan. I am pleased with his care. The Watermark at Logan Square is a good place. They just need more staff.

My sister and I moved our mom here 12 years ago after my father passed away. She was only 80 and in good health at the time and continues to live in the independent area at 92. It took her a while to get used to it but she will tell you now it is the best thing she ever did. She plays cards, see's shows and has made friends. It is much closer to where we live so we are able to see her more often. The staff has been caring. I agree that the only complaint is the amount the unit is raised in regard to rent annually. When she was hospitalized and needed a bit of rehab she was able to have her friends from the building visit her which was great. All in all it's been great for her.

I absolutely love this place. Things could be cleaner for my particular liking, but that about it. My mom was in rehab for 2 months. I love that fact that everyone assigned to her came to say goodbye. They all know who me, my brothers, and my daughter are even tho some of them haven't met us. They treated her like family while she was there. She loved them all so much that she gave them a party the day before she was released lol. They all loved her (and she's not the easiest person to love). I trusted her in their care and she felt safe there.

its an amazing place so much so that the move coordinator goes above and beyond to her call of duty and puts it first and foremost to the point of having no time or effort for her significant other and family to the point of pretty much destroying a family and having no concern for anything other then the watermark. Gives great opportunity for extra maridal affairs and makes it the one and only important thing in there life.
