Management is extremely professional and they are wonderful communicators. The Administrator was straightforward about pricing and sensitive to my relatives needs. I am so grateful we found Fountain View at Logan Square! The facilities are new, modern and very clean. The entertainment and social aspects are on another level complete with a golf simulator, game room,pool and exercise areas. There are beautiful lounge areas to hang out everywhere throughout the building and the place looks like the Hilton!

The staff is warm, welcoming, and highly responsive, which makes communication smooth and reliable. Resident life feels engaging and well-curated, with a strong sense of community. I’ve had the chance to attend several events, including programs honoring veteran residents, holiday activities like gingerbread house decorating, and even line dancing sessions. My brother has just finished his first year here as a resident. I can’t tell you how grateful we all are that he has found this home! He has a beautiful renovated unit, has made amazing friends, he feels safe, and loves the food! He has an amazing relationship with the staff. He even has an ongoing pool game with a few of them 🙂 My brother used to be an introvert but not anymore. The staff has reached out to me if they ever have concern and they’re so caring and attentive. Whenever we visit, everyone knows his name and ours! It’s an amazing community and I highly recommend it.

I stayed at this community for a short term stay last month and it exceeded my expectations. Everyone was friendly and kind from the front desk concierge to the Executive Director Kelly the moment I walked in the door. After 3 months as a resident, very pleased. Minor glitches due to extensive remodeling, but Fountain View gets the important things right. Good food. (My nutritionist is impressed; more importantly, so is my 11-year-old granddaughter.) Great location, beautiful building. Can't say enough about the staff. People here are capable, conscientious, and courteous. I was asking about a SEPTA stop the other day. An employee answered my question, then got out her phone and showed me a picture of what the intersection looked like! I'm glad to be here.

The heat management was unconscionable in this building during the heat wave over weekend of June 21-23 2024: The temperature in the dining room was 83/85/87 on the three visible dining room thermometers. The kitchen continued to serve hot food and all overhead spotlights continued to burn all weekend. Recommendation that the lights be turned off or at least remove the bulbs was ignored. The apartment rooms were comfortable for the most part because of separate heat/air conditioning units in each apartment. The halls however had only a small cooling unit which was inadequate to the task and the temperature was well over 90 in the halls due to excessive lighting which was improved when I loosened 60 % of the bulbs in the wall sconces which still left enough light in halls. Overheating is a severe risk to the elderly. Administration was aware of these conditions and responded that windows could not be open because that would interfere with the air conditioning. I was not asking to open windows in areas that had central air just in the halls. I don’t feel there had been any preparation to reduce the heat production in the building although an outside contractor was called to reset the central air. No additional fans had been provided for areas that were insufficiently cooled

When you are a resident at the Fountain View at Logan Square, as I have been for 11 Years, you are on a continuous vacation. You are within walking distance of museums, parks, restaurants and ten minutes from the Avenue of the Arts. The variety of in house activities can keep you busy all day. The residents are friendly and love to greet new residents. AND THE DELICIOUS FOOD: when I greet new residents I tell them, "be careful it is very easy to gain weight here, because the FOOD IS SOOO GOOD. I invite you to come and see our newly designed lobby's, library, piano bar, dining room and our apartments. And there is more on the drawing board: an indoor swing pool and spa, juice bar, outdoor balcony gardens, etc. For an appointment with the Welcoming Chair Person, call the desk and ask for Dee Levin.

My mother-in-law lives in a suburb of Philadelphia and she's home by herself. She watches TV all day and I've noticed that she's starting to decline. My husband and I recently went on a tour of Fountain View and found the facility to be beautiful and they have so many different activities that my mother-in-law could participate in. I think it will make a difference given the fact that shes very social. The staff were all very nice and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend someone to go out and take a tour of Fountain View. My husband is in the process of talking to his sister and his mom about the facility, and I'm sure we will be bringing her there for a tour very soon.

I enjoy the life enrichment here, and taking advantage of all the activities the city has to offer. We go to shows, the opera, concerts, museums and various places of interest. I like to participate in some of the activities here, like our short story group, music lectures and our musical theater group. I lead the play reading group here, which I love. I find the personnel to be very very friendly, and understanding. They work to keep everyone happy, which is so important. The dining staff is particularly great, as well as the front desk. As you age, if you fall or have an injury, there is someone here to help you. I frequent the gym as well. At first I was hesitant moving here and leaving my home, but now I’m so grateful to be here.

I had the pleasure of visiting Dayna Glantz and the Fountain View at Logan Square. Dayna was insightful, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The location was easy to get to from the suburbs of Philadelphia. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The activity calendar had many diverse activities to include all sorts of interests. At the time of my visit, there were several women crocheting together in the library , which was filled with an ample amount of books, and even several local published authors . The community is pet friendly, vibrant and very active. The renovated apartments are decorated beautifully, blending modernity with elevated and elegant senior living .
