This facility is very good. Has exceptional cleaning staff. The cleaning staff deserves 5 stars, but we as people need to be more compassionate from nurses and management. But I do feel as though that, with improvement and better training This facility can be a five star all the way

My Father was a patient here for past 3 years until he passed in January. Don't agree with the post about Bernice Higgins and the others from the billing office. Always had a great experience. They were always very professional, courteous and helpful. Visited the office weekly to check for mail. Had an issue with Dad's monthly charge after going to SNF which she took care of. The building is very old and definitely need in repair. Main elevators always an issue. Kudos to many of the staff me/Dad and my brothers met during his stay. The activities department was great especially Alexus. My Father was first on 5th floor, dementia unit for 2 years then SNF for 1 year.

Deer Meadows had been my father's home for almost 6 years. He began in independent living. He loved his little apartment, the dining room, and all of the fun activities. As his disease progressed he moved to the personal care unit and then into long term care. In each level of care we had a wonderful experience. The staff made my father feel loved and they became like family to him. It always made me feel so good knowing my father was having the best quality of life possible. We will forever be grateful to the Deer Meadows staff and community for being amazing at every level! Thank you, the family of Joseph Patrick Kelly

My wife's brother is here and a number of us when to see him and one of the female staff went and brought back chairs for his 3 sisters and his brother to be able to sit and spend time with him. He was only admitted the day before but the diagnosed treatment is positive in as short a time period as possible.

Each of the staff from receptionist to nurses to CNAs were very helpful to me. Sometimes I can get turned around in a large building but at each turn the staff were courteous and help direct me along my way. I was visiting one of the members of my church in the dementia unit who had recently been in the hospital. She looked well taken care of. We had a great conversation. There was an individual who was having a hard time while I visited. The staff engaged her appropriately and de-escalated the situation, while also reassuring the residents that everything was all right. When the visit was over, I met a nurse who had worked for the facility for 25 years. She was smiling and grateful.
